I'm not sure how many of you are gamers, but here goes. Today I downloaded and started playing the South Korean free-to-play MMOFPS game, Sudden Attack. It's actually quite fun and I'm pleasantly surprised with the game. It's graphics are relatively good and it seems to run well even on older computers. Anything from the east I generally give a wide berth due to their tendency to ramp up the grind factor. The only MMOFPS I ever played was Planetside, which was great fun, but I'm generally more of an RPG guy. Is there a persistent world involved in this game or is it heavily instanced?

I loved PlanetSide, but I sucked at it, and got bored half-way through the 14 day free trial lol. Amazing game though nonetheless. What RPGs do you play?

I only got into the MMO field when WoW came out (though my friends have played EQ/UO), but I've tried EQ2 (was alright), AoC (fun combat), LotRO (probably my second favorite MMO), and Warhammer (had potential) mostly. I've tried some free MMOs as well, like Runes of Magic, but not extensively. And of course I play WoW still, eagerly awaiting Cataclysm. It's easily my favorite game and I've poured an indecent amount of hours into it. RPGs that aren't MMOs, the only recent one I picked up was Dragon Age: Origins which I absolutely loved and played through a good 4 times. I've tried Elder Scrolls: Oblivion but I never got too far in it, I just never got into that one.

For MMOs I've played, oh lets see, quite a few. I tried World of Warcraft out, I didn't see what everyone was hyping about, but then again I only played it two times and only because an insanely hot girl at my high school plays that and wanted to play with me, so I signed up for a 14 day free trial. I also played The Matrix Online before it got shutdown, PlanetSide, RuneScape (when I was like 9), EverQuest, Jumpgate: The Reconstructive Initiative (a MMO space simulation game), EVE Online, Planet Hot Wheels before it got shutdown, Blade Mistress before it got shutdown, Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach, and a plethora of others.

I just started playing Combat Arms two days ago, it's pretty cool, and I suggest you check it out. It's a freeware MMOFPS game. It's similar to Sudden Attack.
