mobile skin help: deleting PMs from a mobile device

Hi,

So I am using the full site on my phone, but I can't delete PMs from my phone because it will not allow me to select them. Is there a special way to do this? If a mod just wants to go in and delete my old pm's that is fine too (I don't know if you can) I just can't figure out how to do it and my inbox is almost full.....help!

You could try the iPhone skin, but I'm pretty sure when this was posted about before (by you?) that there wasn't the functionality to do that in the mobile skin. So you'll have to use a regular skin or do it on the computer.

I can delete all your pm's but I can't selectively do it, so I won't be able to see if you have new ones or not, so I would say try other avenues and post here if you really want us to clear all your pm's.

Thanks Darla; I'm on a regular skin on my phone (not the mobile one) but it may be that my phone is just stinky. I know I posted on one of the mobile threads previously, but that's been a looong time ago; I have no idea if I started it. I'll let you know if I get desperate and have to delete them all. Looks like its time for me to use a real computer otherwise....

Well if you're on a normal skin I don't know why you wouldn't be able to delete them, unless maybe it's a java thing somehow.

Have you tried going into individual messages and checking the delete box from there?
 
Yeah I can't select them though! Lol I'll just hope that I can get to a normal computer before I run out of space...I'm at 95% full though!

Maybe it is a java issue; I have no idea. I do have problems with some sites because of java though so I'd say that's a fair guess.
 
exactly. I was gonna rep you that but it doesn't want to let me click on the rep button for some reason. That one's not usually a problem though....I think it's just my phone today.

Not sure if that will work, but you can try it.

What kind of phone do you have?

I don't have a smart phone so I can't test it myself...

deleted my sent ones :) that'll save me for now! Thanks!! And while i can give rep again i cant click the boxes on pm's still. I officially blame my phone.
I have an lg apex


I think this may be the first time my big mouth has got the "message too short" error message....wow.
