I don't know what has gone on between you both in the past and I am not a moderator on these boards nor was I on CoA, However, I think you both need to maybe discuss in private your issues or have a thread just for you both.

Again I say I dont know what has gone on but one thing I do know is it is not pleasant reading when members start to dig into each other.

Feel free to ignore me it's no problem and that is just my opinion.

I luuuuurve our mods here at the BB. Y'all rock my socks off. You are all super helpful and fun to hang out with on the BB. You're constantly coming up with new ways to improve the boards for the members. Best of all, you're fun to talk to/debate with/plan stuff with as regular members, too. Your modship doesn't interfere with the fact that you are each lively and dedicated BB members first and foremost. Basically, I don't want to pull out one or two mods to congratulate above the rest because I think you all do a fantastic job. The great sense of community here is why I stay. I think a lot of that sense of community has to do with the dedicated, non-power-tripping mods really working hard to make sure that this is a fun board.

Oh, doing a thread like this is of course a good idea. This place wouldn´t be the same without them. And even though I might not agree 100% with all of their decisions I know they have bigger experience of these kind of things and accept that they are doing the best they can to make this the best board ever and considering the result I think it´s fair to say that they´re doing a great job. I don´t have the closest of relationships with any of them but I´ve run across most of them one way or another. So here goes"¦.

Have to start with ~angelic slayer~ our wonderful prefect. I really can´t praise her enough. We all love her to bits. Don´t know how she manage to keep up with everything and still be in such a good mood. And despite the fact that I´m doing loads of "mistakes" in my own posts she still laughs the times I point out the few mistakes she does. 😀 Now I just hope she gets me bleeding ears for christmas...

Keanoite is my mum and my enemy. Such a great mix wouldn´t you say? Ok, so she threatens to throw me out of the boards from time to time but I guess I deserve it. It´s not like I´m the best behaved egg in the world. 😉

After Lyri got "upset" (don´t take this littealy now it´s a joke) not to be included in the bb survivor games I promised her that she would be in the final of the bb members survivor game. No I didn´t have anything to do with the thread being made in the first place. Unfortunately the qualifying round hasn´t finished yet. Actually the thread seems to scare away all the mods since it hasn´t been closed yet at 256 posts"¦

Buffy Summers is our queen without who we wouldn´t be her at all. Can we praise he enough for that? Nope.

Jenny was the one to give me comfort the first time the boards went down after my arrival. What? No bb for days?! The world was gonna end but she made it all feel better. Such a lifesaver. 😀

I stole part of Mr. Pointy´s job in the check in forum as the pesky little kid I am. And if that´s not enough I´ve joked around with him about it. Not nice of me but he´s taken it as the man he is. Kudos!

We all know how smart nerd4hire is and he had the great taste to start watching this You want to be as smart as him don´t you? Go watch it. Now!!

I asked Old Master 3.0 for advice and as the great man he is of course he delivered a great answer. 😀 The problem was by the time I thanked him he had forgot all about it. The newsletter don´t come out often enough...

SpikedBuffy is the teacher I always wanted but never had. At least that´s what OM 3.0 convinced me. 🙂

I keep edb busy in the adoptionthreads and it´s not like we make her job easy. We seem to love to make it as complicated as possible. 😀

Faith is finally back after being gone a while and even if I don´t know her I can´t help but wonder if she´s been in a coma or in prison all this time. 😉

And that leaves Black Eye Guy and VisionGuy who I´m sure are cool gutys both of them but it´s not like I´ve had much to do with any of them.


Please tell me I didn´t forget anyone.

Where was I diging into "board of the dead"? I thought his topic was suspect, in my opinion it appeared that he was either trying to manipulate me, or goad me, and I commented on it. If I was wrong on both accounts, then I apologise, but my actions in this case were honest. Perhaps he didn't realise it, but botd was taking something I had said, out of context, to attack me. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the error of his attack.

If it hadn't been for the timing of this topic, and a couple of other things, then I wouldn't have questioned the authenticity of the topic. And if botd had any issue with my post, it should have been with my ignoring the topic matter, and not with the disingenuous reason he used to open an attack on myself.

If I offending him, unintentionally, I might add, I would rather he addressed me on the matter, privatelly, or publically. Instead of the silly nonsensical point we were arguing over.

Personally don't see that I owe anybody an apology. But if I offended anyone, BotD, or otherwise, then I apologise, and suggest that you might have short memories. And I apologise for any generalisations directed towards the moderator body.

Anyone here who has any doubt as to just who my favorite moderator and, coincidentally, my favorite sparring partner on the Boards by this time must be very new here, but for you fledgelings, the lady's name is Keanoite, though to me she will always be Miss K. She is a lady, always helpful to any and everybody, consistently one of the first to welcome new members and offer them help, and gifted with almost infinite patience and understanding. It is by no means her fault that she is a Bangel shipper, in fact that little imperfection makes her all the more lovable, and the rumor that like Mayor Wilkins, her charm and friendliness hide a truly sinister character with an evil agenda, as witnessed by the small army of adoptees she has accumulated over the last few months, is almost CERTAINLY only a fair possibility, not an established fact, and the title "Kean's Killers" was probably as harmless as the "Scoobies," the "Fang Gang," or "Angel's Avengers."

Well, I've been a member here for quite some time now, and since becoming a mod my opinion of the [other] moderators here still hasn't changed.

A lot of people have said it already, but what I always liked about the moderators here is that you can't always tell that they were moderators by their posts. They posted just like anyone else and they were a fun group of people; and very approachable if you had a problem because of that normality. On other boards I always used to hate PMing the mods and even though I still went through about fifty drafts before sending that PM off to EDB or Old Master: I didn't worry that they'll give me an earful for "disturbing" them. I've never been afraid to speak my mind here, even to a moderator. Which I think is pretty flipping awesome, for a message board.

I can remember on an old harry potter board I was a member of years back, I got one helluva PM one day from a mod because I had put my thread in the wrong place. And I mean I thought they were going to ban me by the sounds of the PM-- yikes!

Again, my opinion still hasn't changed after becoming a mod either. They're just an awesome group of people working crazy hard to try and make this an awesome place to stay. I don't know how some of them do it, but I sure am glad that they do :thumbsup:

(But then again with such awesome members, it makes the job that much easier... I love you guys far too much! 😉)

Well, of course I have to mention my favorite people in the whole world; Mr. P (the nightlife of Dallas awaits your and Mrs. P's next visit friends!), n4H, the king of links, smilies and good movies and just an all around good guy.....who I understand will be moving to Texas soon (wink, wink!), Lyri, (my dearest!) and the inestimable Buffy Summers. You people help to make this board kinda my "family" away from my family, I'm sure a lot of posters here feel that way. It's sometimes a thankless job, but I know I'm grateful for it. Thank you!
