Moments in Buffy that bought a tear to your eye

There sure is a lots of sad moments. But cry in front of the TV watching a show... nah

Might would have at the end of The Gift.
But my season 6 boxset was already bouncing up and down on the table saying, I'm next, I'm next...
So there wasn't any time 😉

LOL at I'm next.

I think the reason I got teary when I saw The Gift, is because I watched it when it first aired and I thought that was the end of it. I didn't know there was going to be a season 6.

With You're Welcome, I got teary because my favorite character died.

I don't cry easily, at all. Especially during movies/tv. But there are two moments that really come to mind.

Willow visiting Tara's grave in Help
The Willow/Kennedy/Warren scene in The Killer In Me

I know I'm shallow 😛

becoming2... passion... and innocence, when buffy is lying in her bed crying with the ring angel gave her, bought a tear to my eye.
In Angel, You're welcome made me cry a lot. When cordelia is saying goodbye, the phone rings and when angel realised, she was already gone.

There were lots of moments that made me almost cry or that made me want to cry, but the only moment i REALLY cryed was at the end of the gift. that was really sad :'(

The Gift really got to me too (and I knew she was coming back). I don't cry easily but when Anya is giving the little fruit punch speech in The Body I can't help breaking down with her.

Ahh,I agree. That Anya scene always gets me teary-eyed.
Unfortunately, I had spoiled myself on just about everything before I saw the actual episodes, so I was prepared.

Still, I did shed a few tears:
-The end of Becoming, Part II
-The end of the Gift
-Fool for Love (I felt so badly for William)
-Empty Places (my dislike for the Potentials turned to loathing)
-Touched (when Spike holds Buffy while she sleeps)
-Forever (don't ask me why, somehow I made it though the Body)

I have to admit, I got choked up at The Gift the other night. It really wasn't Buffy so much as the look on everyone else's face....especially Spike. I hate seeing them all so sad.

Yup, the Spike crumbling to his knees with his hands over his face gets me every time.

Before that, just her turning and running to her death is so powerful. Not to mention I *love* that outfit! :àž

Karma for the outfit mention. Thanks for the laugh!
passion - the look on giles' face when he first discovers jenny's body brought a lump to my throat i gotta say
the gift - the end is incredibly emotional and also spikes speech to buffy, very moving
the body - pretty much the entire episode had me in tears
chosen - xander not being able to find anya and also spike's final moments 🙁
can't really think of any more, but there most definately are some, i'm a bit of a crybabler when it comes to buffy.

I just finished "Seeing Red," and Tara's death made me choke up a bit, but surprisingly enough, I got teary during the attempted rape scene. It was weird.

i cant remember many times i cried, there were lots of sad moments and they were all ones where i forced my self to hold back the tears but one of the ones i did cry on was chosen! the music and just the fact it was the last episode the end of an era etc well it got to me lol 😛

I love the music in Chosen, especially during the fight/war scene with the uber vamps.
it usually takes a lot, but i have always cried when oz leaves for good at the end of "new moon rising", at the end of "tabula rasa" during michelle branch's song when tara and giles are leaving, during spike's speech to buffy and then holding her that same night in "touched", anya singing in "selfless", and spike and buffy talking and spike resting on the cross in "beneath you."

I like the ending of Tabula Rasa, I love Michelle Branch =)

The cross scene in Beneath you always makes me sob. And it doesn't help that Spike seems so calm and distant
'Afterlife': The moment Buffy comes down the staris and Spike see's that she is alive.

The way he looks at her, he loves her so much, would bring a tear to a glass eye, happy tears.

There are episodes of Buffy that literally make ball my eyes out everytime eventhough I've seen them like 30 times each.
The Gift is maybe the biggest cry, her speech to Dawn and everyone's reaction to seeing her body on the floor, especially Spike, its heartbreaking. The Body makes me cry pretty much the entire time, start to finish I'm a mess. The Prom and her getting the class protector award, but at least thats a happy, proud cry. In Passion when Giles calls Buffy's house and we just see Buffy's face drop and then Willow gets on and she breaks down, it just kills me. When Oz leaves after the whole Veruca mess in Wild at Heart, I completely share Willow's total heartbreak everytime, man that girl is a pro at tearing your heart out with her performance. Anya's walk of shame in Hell's Bell's, again it completely breaks my heart. Of course Tara's death in Seeing Red, probably mostly due to Willows reaction to it. And finally the subtle moment in Potential when Xander says to Dawn, "You're not special, you're extraordinary." Its just such a beatiful heart-warming moment.

Oddly enough the closest I got to crying over an episode was Storyteller but only the first time i saw it because i didnt know she wasnt gonna kill Andrew, but it's just so sad to see him sobbing and giving his little speech about how bad he was

Exactly! It's so sad
Storyteller.

When Andrew begins to cry over what he did to Jonathan. It's just so heartbreaking, you know?

I Would also have mentioned The Gift, but almost everyone does that. It's pretty obvious.

Heh, guess I'm the only one who cries to Storyteller:nibble6:

Passion, when Willow, and Buffy get the phonecall. I just hate seeing Willow cry. It's always heartbreaking

And Grave, when Willow faces Xander. She just seems so heartbroken.

Since David123 mentioned all the episode I cry at, I vote I will remember you, The Angel episode. I know it's not a Buffy episode, but it has Buffy in it. I can't help but sob my heart out, and I don't even like Angel!
