Moments that scared you, creeped you out

I hated s2 Angelus saying he needed a 'vile kill' and Drusilla saying they would find him 'a nice toddler' 🙁

- Gravok spiders.
- The Gentlemen- the rictus grins and silent gliding *shudder*
- Xander's Dad in his 'Restless' dream.
- Clown Demons in 'Family'
- Possible Joyce in 'Forever'. In fact, Doc was also unnerving here. Not in 'Weight Of The World/'The Gift' though, he descended into camp.

OH MY GOD! Those horrible clown demons! I had forgot about them but they were SCARYYYY
 
Hush for obvious reasons. Hush is actually great to watch on Halloween.

When the first appears to Wood as his mother, when he's shaving, and she calls him 'baby', it just sounded so salacious to me, it felt creepy on a differnt level

Essentially everything with Wood kind of creeped me out. Could never quite figure him out. He made me nervous

That is a harsh cut ...and for me one of the saddest moments of the entire series . It still upsets me now . 😀
 
Nothing was ever really scary to me, but The Gentlemen were creepy as all get out.
 
The episode "Helpless" was probably the creepiest to me. Then the scene in "Hush" when Olivia is looking out the window and one of the Gentlemen suddenly appears was startling.

Also, anytime Caleb was coming across more straight up serial killerish than supernatural was a bit scary.

The scene where we first see Caleb in the car with the girl is creepy as all get out to me
Pretty much all of Dead Things is unsettling and hard to watch. The Trio framing Buffy for Katrina's murder. Them being happy they got away with it. Plus Buffy and Spike balcony sex. It's a sad, tough episode to watch and gets very creepy.

Agreed. Trauma episode.
The Gentlemen. Just the idea of them tearing your heart out while you're not able to scream for help.

Oh that reminds me of a guy I used to see going to school that looked just like Spike, and I would pass a black car that was the same model as Spike's car on the way, and it had blackout windows! That was kinda freaky.

Good timing. We watched that in the rewatch last night. There's quite a few unsettling scenes in it. Just the editing, and atmosphere during the episode is really weird and creepy.

It the contrast of the two elements so skillfully into wovern which makes it surreal and unsettling. The timing of the switch is so spot on. Its a classic scene.
 
Gnarl and The Gentlemen both a little bit.

And BIG TIME : Mental Buffy (locked up, loony bin, season 6). Thats just crossed a line for me. Brrrrrrrrr. Pure horror, totally unthinkable.

There is just something from how Buffy wears her hair in that episode and the look in her eyes which just gets to me every time😉

I know. Because for the very first Moment (on the show), we are no longer looking at the slayer (funny or in pain or whatever), we are looking at that broken person, that is just Buffy Anne Summers. Very scary...
 
Yeah, actually the mental hospital Buffy is quite a scary thought. Especially when she started to think being a Slayer was a hallucination. Really sad that it was so tempting to give in so she could see her mum and dad again. Was quite sad...
 
The entire Conversations episode. I remember watching it at night and... omg, it was super scary.
