Moments You Wanted To Jump Into The TV

Last night I was watching "WWE Monday Night Raw." It was a match between two females, Melina and Candice. It was a match where they wrestle and rip each other's clothes off and the first one without clothes on loses. Melina beat Candice, but another female wrestler, Ashley, came out and started fighting with Melina. Ashley is my girl so of course I'm watching with my beer screaming, "get her ***!!! get her ass***!!!" It was a quick fight and Ashley pretty much humiliated Melina. Then out of no where this male wrestler, The Great Khali, comes out no where and started choking Ashley. Ashley is 5'11" and The Great Khali is 7'5". He was choking the Hell out of her with one hand. I'm sitting there freaking out. Even though I know wrestling is really, really fake, it still made me mad. I wanted to jump in the ring and help her. Although I'm sure me being 5'6" and 180 and him being 7'5" and 340, I'm sure I could have outpowered him.... not... Anyway here's a picture.

Anyway, I started thinking of when Anya died on Buffy. A lot of people were saying how they wished they can jump in and save her. So I thought, what are your tv moments when you wish you could jump into the screen? It doesn't necessarily have to be to save someone.
 
ok, i haven't seen this yet (it Thursdays for us in the UK) but i think that will be one of those jump in the TV moments for me! lol
The Great Kali scares the c**p outta me. everytime he's facing Jeff Hardy (my fave wrestler of ALL time) i just wanna jump in there and help him!! lol, Jeff's so tiny compared to him!!
most of these moments that i have is to do with WWE or BTVS. like the Anya scene you spoke of, or when Kendra died...or in Angel when Cordy was too slow getting to the beach to meet Angel.
 
i followed wwf...but not wwe...and i don't mean to sound snobbish...

hahaha...great khali....is big show still in the game??...if he is...i'd pay to see that match....but that depends upon the khalis skills cause i havent seen him wrestle

hmmm...moments i'd jump through the tv....usually when a series...lets out a huge mele battle...for example...when buff and friends took on adam and the ???...what were they called again...man...i gotta watch buff again...

i havent been watchin it that long so i dunno if he's there. khali just kinda swats people n they fly outta the ring so i dunno lol
They start up allot of people like that....by not even wrestling in matches....

ie....new age sting....all he did was come in with a bat and kick ass...didn't wrestle much....he lurked allott!!

i believe kane only came out and choked slammed everybody...i'm probably wrong...

goldberg beat 100 jabronies with the spear and became one of the most popular wrestlers....when he did...everyone got those barbed wired tats around their arms....cause goldberg was the illes...hahah.

hahah...the rock...made his name through his insults....and banter...he's the best with a mic...

hmmm....i think most members of the nwo...when there were 10 million of them...just came out and stomped on enemies and disrupted every match...lol...i miss that...
 
The Rock is back now... or at least he was on Monday. He was talking for a long time, but he didn't actually wrestle. The Great Kahli has matches, they just don't last longer than like 30 seconds. lol
 
The Great Kali goes into the ring and squishes people like Jeff Hardy uner his boot heel and leaves. that's pretty much how his mathces go. i can't wait until he get his ass kicked by Kane at Wrestlemania.
 
eh....the way there setting up kali....he's gonna need someone bigger to take him out...kane is pretty well established...but i don't imagine them building up kali this bad just so kane can take his ass out...it would have to be the alpha protagonist...definately a rock figure...but i doubt he'll go back into the ring...

man...i miss mick foley....he was the frickin man....
 
i don't think there's anyone big enough to take out kahli. i mean, Cena is #1 and has two world titles and everything, but he's like 1/3 of kahli. it would be another slaughter.

I had a distant cousin who wrote scripts for that crap. I mean wrestling.

Sometimes I wanna jump in the TV to make the moves on Eliza Dushku, or Kristen Bell. Or Jessica Alba. Or Gillian Anderson (in the later years of The X-Files - she got hotter the older she got). Or Elisabeth Harnois. Or Maggie Grace.

I woulda liked to save Anya too. She was the definition of awesome.

i agree...anderson did get hotter as the files went on....falkin weird...usually works the other way...

I want to jump into the TV and hit the news reporters upside the head when they are going to talk about the East/US War or something. I know that the US is conflicting with Iraq, but second-to-second updates hurt my head. I wanna know what else is going on in today's society, granted, that it's still a big deal.
 
There's a show in Canada called This hour has 22 minutes and one of the things they do is go to another country (usually the states) and ask them what they thing of: and then something ludicrous like Toronto having new rules for Igloo control, or installing the first stop sign for dog sleds - you get the idea.

Well - and I won't say all of these people - but a lot of the people they ask are just "Wow, good on you Canada". or "Congratulations Canada on finally getting VCRs"!

I want to jump into the television and knock those people out.
 
I would probably have jumped into the TV during 'Sanctuary' on Angel. And I would've beat Buffy up, screamed at her a little bit, and told her to get her skinny ass back to Sunnydale where she belongs. Of course, since I'm the viewer, I am all powerful and not even Angel can stop me. ...I can dream, right?

Anyway, another time would be during the most recent episode of Heroes. First, I would've made Mohinder and Sylar make out a lot. And then I would've beat Sylar's ass and killed him a lot so he can leave my Peter alone. And then Peter an I would live happily ever after, the end kthx.
 
I just watched Serenity...so for those who havent seen it...Spoiler below.

I would have jumped into the tv to
push Wash out of the way of that big ol spear thing that came through the window, so he would have lived and not be killed!

So sad...
 
Okay moments I would like to jump into the tv would be when I watch Seabiscuit on dvd. I know they didn't have female jockeys back then. But every time they show a racing scene I can't help but wish I could be riding in it.
