Money for Autograph

Sorry, I didn't know that the event charges for the autographs. If that true then SHAME!!! ::nono1:: :judge: : mad3 :

But in April or earlier this year. Robia La Morte was selling autographed props and cards from Buffy and the money wasn't going to a charity or something but into her back pocket.
It's her decision to do that. but i dont think that it's right to sign something then get money from it, when there are more needy causes.

I'll agree that most celebrities don't do that (Willam Shatner charges and it does all go to him (cool little italics)
 
Yeah, maybe, but you see what I mean about the rumour thing, right? Unless you post a link to a reliable source for the Shatner and LaMorte remarks, they're just rumours.

I saw William Shatner singing on Jay Leno last week and it shocked me. I liked it. I think the song was called Common People.
 
If I was a broke actress I would get another job, not charge my few and only fans for sigs. I have met many famous ppl and have never been charged, even a few of the little ones. Unless it goes to charity.

It is standard practice at conventions to be charged to get an autograph or take a pic with the celebs in attendance. The convention planners do that, not the actors/celebrities. That's how convention planners make money. All the actors do is show up at the convention, collect their appearance fee, and go. So, it's really not their fault that fans are getting charged for autographs, is it?

An actress with two jobs? How is she supposed to party and schmooze with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan?

Who cares if she charges (Which it is not certain if she does), It is her name, and her time, she can charge you whatever she likes, if you'll pay for it.

Thats the problem.....80% of actors are out of work at anyone time......
Fact is IF these actors are charging for a signed autograph big deal....they have to earn something......they are paid while they work......when they dont work they aint paid.....how do they live.....
IF someone wants to charge....and more to the point....if someone wants to pay for a service and thats what it is a service...leave them too it. I dont wanna pay money for a bit of Ink on some paper no matter who they are BUT some people do...
