Is it right for Angel and co. to charge their clients

Well, I believe if the person was poor and couldn't afford to pay they shouldn't have to. Although, the people that were rich and good off should. Angel and the gang have to have some kind of income coming in, and charging is the only way to do it.
 
You really have to make a destinction there: there are those ASKING for help, of course they should be charged.

Then there are those who just find themselves in a dangerous situation and fortunately Angel comes around the corner or jumps from the roof to save them. I think it's kind of unfair to charge them for something they didn't even ask for. On the other hand, they probably would if they had known what was about to happen. So they should pay if they want and what they can. (I think that was how it was done in the show, wasn't it?)

So, on the whole, yes, I think it is perfectly okay for them to charge.
 
It depends on the case. Like if the case was a life or death they would not have to pay most likely. If it was something silly, like, "Oh, my boyfriends dead and I think he's a zombie and he's stalking me..." crap, they's pay.
 
They should charge based on how much money each client has... or maybe just accept donations and not force anyone to pay. I dunno.
 
They should probably do the same thing one of the big rehab clinics (don't remember which one) does: charge only those who can afford it, and then use that money to help those who can't. Its really a great philoseohy, even if Anya wouldn't aprove.
 
I'm pretty much in agreement with that but my idea is that its more of a donation basis...people should be grateful and give whatever they can to those who saved them, whether its $50 or $5,000.
