Was it ever explained what that thing was. I remember it having some sort of tentacles? Is it likely that this is likely to be brought up again cos it looked pretty important as it was described, iirc, as something that would eliminate Angel if he was to oppose the SPs.
 
It seemed like it might be important, yes. I don't know what it was, only that it seemed vaguely cthulhu-oid, but then lots of monsters do. Anyway, there's only five more episodes, so we'll find out one way or another soon enough.
 
Actually, I forgot about the creature until you brought it up. With the series ending and Angel is supposed to try to take down Wolfman & Hart forever, I'm sure the SPs will unleash that thing on him. I wonder, could it be the panther?
