ILLYRIAN
Druish Pervonian Wizard
Moon's Call (re-visited again)
After waking up late in the afternoon Adrian lay on the bed enjoying the afternoon, upset that he felt nothing he contemplated the angle of the suns rays that entered the room through the window, guessing what the time was by the way the sunlight lit up the mural on the wall opposite the window, a mural of a sailing boat on a river with two girls at the controls.
He grimaced at the thought of his relationship with Velveteen was almost over a best it was on rocky ground. Trying to keep his thoughts a secret as he got out of the bed by rolling to the side so he could pick up his tracksuit and put it on, he bent lower to get his deep blue sand shoes. Then he wandered around the end of the bed. Looking out of the window at the end of the room he saw two girls clambering up one of the more well established fruit trees.
It surprised him to see Emily and Janice together and obviously enjoying each others company. His jaw dropped as he noticed their bodies glistening with perspiration on the large areas of exposed skin. It was the ripples of their strenuous muscles that impressed him. Breathing a deep sigh Adrian continued on his way towards the door, those first few paces brought the realization of the impending pressure.
He twisted the bedroom door handle so he could step into the hall, once there he turned to face the bathroom door and opened it stepping into the bathroom he saw his mistake. He would have to take off his tracksuit in order to have a shower. He hoped the water wasn't too hot, so once he had decided he was clean enough he dried himself off and put his clothes back on.
He went to the sink to clean his teeth before he wandered out of the bathroom then made his way to the front verandah, he walked out of the house he stood on the bank of the dam, he was pleased to see Bethany was sat on the edge just a few feet above the surface of the water. He wandered to where she was sitting, he was curious to see that her clothes were so wet.
“It looks like you been in the water already, why?” Adrian asked knowingly hoping the answer would please him. Bethany smiled sweetly to him, “I thought of what you would want to imagine how the beads of water were cascading from my chin,” Bethany wanted to see the Adrian's smile admitting she had got a bit carried away, that is when I needed to cool myself off,” said Bethany.
Adrian tried to imagine what Bethany must have been thinking, standing close behind her he felt a hand caress one of his ankles, looking down he noticed that the hand had found a way to pass undetected through the long grass. A smile slithered along his tongue to his lips, that is when he knew that during the next few hours that they would be together promised to be the most fruitful.
Bethany knew that her feelings would soon be momentarily forgotten though she hoped she would like the interim time. “And what are you looking at?” she asked. Then grinning to Adrian, “Oh I think I can guess.” Adrian shook his head. “I doubt that,” he said though he hoped that she could as her breathing struggled to sound stress free she took the close to him to mean their friendship was as good as it had ever been Bethany licked her lips as she invited his attentions.
Bethany sat next to him, her body quivering with the excitement of what he might do next. She took a sudden influx of air and jumped into the water Adrian realised how excited she had become, he then realised that he was the same and jumped down into the cold water. “The shower I had before I left the house was a waste of time.” With Bethany they both smiled as they clambered up onto the bank dripping the cold water.
“I did need that,” he said. Bethany grinned knowingly. About to caress her torso Bethany quietly told him that Velveteen was walking towards them. As Velveteen wandered behind them she muttered some obscenity to Bethany before continuing on her way, “I'm going to the clearing so be ready to make a move.” As Bethany stood up she pointed to Alice who was swimming towards them.
“Why does she always seem to be swimming at this time of day near us?” asked Adrian. “Don't you know?” asked Bethany, “She wants to get your attention.” Adrian smiled, “Really, I am so glad, I had hoped that Alice would take Velveteens place,” said Adrian. Bethany looked to Adrian, she wondered if there was an ulterior motive to what Adrian was saying.
