Yes, while I admit my morals may be MUCH lower than some, I do believe in upholding my moral values. Therein lies the problem. I bought Dollhouse as a gift for a friend, as I recorded all the episodes but cant be bothered (see, I censored myself) to burn them to disc.

I get the package yesterday and once I saw 'includes unaired pilot and Epitaph One' my pudgy lil fingers where wanting to rip it open and take a peek. I did not because it's wrong. But I am tempted!

Is Epitaph One worth crossing that moral boundary and giving a pre-viewed gift? What good are morals anyway? cant spend 'em!

I haven't seen Epitah One yet, but here's what I would do, in the sense of morals. If I were you, I'd either buy another dollhouse DVD for yourself, or decide to give your friend something else. Of course, the second option depends on several factors, like, did he/she explicitly ask for Dollhouse or not? So, rocketing back to option one, would it be so bad to buy yourself an own copy of Dollhouse? There's material that hasn't been shown on TV, plus it comes in a pretty box.
Pe-viewed gifts are no go, kinda like giving gifts away people have given to you.

Ha! not breaking my moral code is not worth another $30! shoooot.. morals dont mean THAT much to me.

Yeah.. screw it.. most of the show sucked anyway, one good episode cant change that. I will go without. I will be the sad lil guy in the corner that everyone is talking about Epitah One and I am dazed and confused who resorts to grunts and head nods in effort to assimilate into the group..

I'd open it, me and a friend always gets box sets for eachother for christmas and Bdays and we always pre watch them!

I'd give in i love E1 it was awsome 😉 just tell your friend it turned up without packaging... or, convince them to watch it with you asap 🙂

I am fearful that the guilt of opening it, knowing it (legally as it is a gift) is not mine to open, would prevent me from enjoying it. But what surprises me is that I am anxious to find out...

Epitaph One is amazing, you have to see it! 😉

I've gave someone a DVD that I watched before, loads of times. But I only watch it once, so that makes it better. 😀

I can give away a lot of things that I've used but then it's always a "I don't want/need this anymore. Do you want it?" situation. If I buy a gift for a specific reason I wouldn't dream of using it myself first. But my former best friend often did that with his younger brothers. He gave them dvd´s/videos and cd's/cassettes he'd grown tired of as birhtday gifts or for christmas. But of course his philosofy was that they should be happy they got anything at all...

Yes, thats me. Okay.. so I will resist the urge. Well, there was one gift that I bought that I used on myself first but I washed it afterwards and I dont think it was that bad.. but not the same as a DVD though, is it?

I'd so open it and watch it! it's a brilliant episode, better than any form season 1 in my opinion, its not going to stop the person your buying it for from watching it, they'll still get to see it was if it's brand new they just wont get to unwrap it.

A believe a copy store like Kinkos can shrink wrap that for you if you do open it. If you're a fan of the show, you should definately find a way to watch this episode. It's, most likely, my favorite of the series so far.

Hmm.. I think I like the way you think.. pondering. How to get past the security tape? I bet if I peel it off very carefully I could reapply it, then have it shrink wrapped (actually I could do it here it work) and then she would be none the wiser! Until she reads this post...

prank call prank call!
