This just in from Tru-Fate.com:

A user at the official Tru Calling forum posted news about extra episodes. Here's what LARA7320 said:

Hey gang! Everyone's in an uproar about the ratings, and we all have reason to be. However, I decided to dig up some information from the production team at TRU CALLING. This is what I heard from my writer pal... "Here's the official word on the ratings. Studio and network are happy. Here's why. We HELD our numbers in the key demmo for this show - women 18-34. In fact, in that segment we came in third for the night beating ABC, WB and UPN. Where the overall numbers went down was - we lost the older folks who tuned in for the pilot - realized it wasn't for them, and tuned out for week two. If we can keep holding in that W18-34 (women age 18-34) demo, you'll all most likely get a full season of Tru Calling. Feel free to spread the news."

This also was said...

"Unconfirmed rumor that Fox will be ordering more scripts from us.
It's not a commitment to shoot them yet - but it's the first step towards getting a full season production order beyond our initial 13."
 
It really does have great potential to be a cult classic. Like I posted up on another board, people need to give it a chance, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was a great series 🙂 but this show DEFINIELY has the potential!
 
I'm a male 12-18... or whatever that category is. But I'm all over this show like Rosie O'Donell on a piece of stake!

(giggles) and I thought I was the only 34 year-old woman watching this show - I tell ya, until this show came along, I didn't have anything to watch from 7:00pm (8:00pm EST/PST) to 8:00pm (9:00 EST/PST), so needless to say I was THRILLED when this show came along... Now who do I write to to keep this show on the air (and hopefully eventually the #1 show on during this time period)???
 
I'm 38 years old - female.......and will watch every episode they have. I love this show.
 
Until Variety or Hollywood Reporter says Fox has ordered more scripts, it's just a rumor. Not that I don't believe the source, It's just highly unusual that a network would do that, then not announce it. So I'd take it that it hasn't happened until one of the trade mags reports it.

Not that I want to be a downer, but the crew for the short lived show Pasadena kept raving about how Fox loved the show and thought the ratings would improve and that the show would return after being retooled, but Pasadena only aired four episodes, then vanished never to be seen again. The only guarantee of anything is the ratings picking up substantially since Tru less viewers than Pasadena did.
 
Who do I write to???

Ok, well since my home isn't one of the "Nelsen Ratings" homes, who do I write to (snail mail) to let TPTB know that I LOVE this show and to keep it on???
 
oh my GOD I LOVED Pasadena! That show was sooo amazing, i miss it now. I really wished that it hadn't been cancelled. how did Pasadena get cancelled, but Murder in Small Town X go for like 30 (to the nth degree) episodes. Don't get me wrong, i loved Murder too, but Pasadena had great acting and an amazing storyline going for it.

Well I am not in the thing because I am a 16 yr female. But I do hope tht this show contines, I hope it goes for a couple of seasons.
 
gosh, this show is so good! the episodes are getting so much betetr! ppl just need to wait and be patient, its looking up to be a great series! they better not cancell it, more and more pl are watching it every thurs!
