Nothing to say especially, I actually joined because I have some questions about s.8 that I'm hoping some folks here might be able to clean up.

I became interested in the series during s.7, and have since watched it mostly in reverse order--a bit weird, but there it is. I enjoy the later seasons more than the earlier ones, and in spite of the choppiness and characterization of s.8 have found myself liking it...parts of it, anyway.

No special-ness. Looking forward to getting some answers/discussing the currently developing season.

Hey, welcome to the boards! I'm sure if you go to the season 8 forum, people can clear up some stuff but there's also a lot of good threads you can look at.

I like the later seasons best too. But we seem to be in minority. But in your case it could be that that's the ones you saw first and gave you the impression on how the show "should" be. Or maybe you just got good taste. 😉 Not like I dislike the earlier seasons. I'm sure you can get a lot of help in the season 8 section. But if you want to get to know a few of our members a bit better getting sorted would be a good idea and you get sorted in The Sorting Tome. And if you feel that you might need a little guidance on the boards don't be afraid to ask anyone for help or maybe get an official helper by getting adopted, Bad Eggs.

Welcome! I've always preferred the later seasons too. Feel free to explore the boards, even if you're not looking to discuss anything other than S8, you might be surprised how drawn in you can get. 🙂
