Feelin a little gutted, that the price tag may drop £100 so soon after launch because of those damaging reports that the thing has flopped, when it's only marginally behind in its sales targets 🙁 suprised MS haven't sued the nasty tabloids....
But I should be getting a GC in May/June to sit along side my Box hehe so I'm happy with Halo and other games of the sort for now... just waiting for that all important buffy to make an appearance... looks like it's been pushed back though AGAIN... ::crying::

Not too bothered about the price drop tho as I only paid £300 for my box with 4 extra games 2 controllers and a memory card! Bargain! (it still skinted me tho, but it was an offer i couldn't refuse!!)

Well the Xbox will in no way drop to £100 it may drop BY £100 to compete with the competition after those unfounded media reports that must have seriously damaged the Xbox' credibility as a competitior in the market...
AS for Buffy being released... it's been confirmed again.... instead of June 1st... it's now going to be June 28 ish!!!!!... Damn EA.. .DAMN 'em...

I also payed for an Xbox for £299.99, I'm not too fussed though, for £300 I got an Xbox, 2 games and a extra Controller...personally I don't think that's too bad, especially considering the quality of the titles available in the offer. Incidently the two games I ordered were Dead or Alive 3 and Rallisport Challenge.

Buffy Game Rises At Last
The producers of the long-awaited Buffy the Vampire Slayer video game told SCI FI Wire that the title is about two weeks away from completion and is slated for a July release. "Buffy is ... an actual lost episode from [the show's] season three," assistant producer Harish Rao said in an interview at the Electronics Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles last week. "It's actually about two episodes rolled into one. It's certainly not a rehashing of an existing episode. It's actually brand new and exists in the [Buffy] universe."
Rao added, "[The main villain] is kind of a secret, but it is somebody from Buffy's past that everyone is going to be able to recognize." The game will feature Buffy's allies from the show--Willow, Xander, Giles and Spike--as well as Angel and his evil alter ego, Angelus.
Joss Whedon, creator of UPN's Buffy series, and fellow producers had a say in the game's storyline, Rao added. "Initially, we were going back and forth with them," he said. "We wanted their creative input, and then they signed off on our script. They liked the design and the direction of the game, so we kind of just went with it." The Collective developed and Electronic Arts will publish Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the Xbox gaming platform, with a suggested retail price of $49.95.

Set for a July 19th release... gonna have to keep all that cash in me bank... use that £5 off voucher at Game only availible in XBM...
Just hope the release doesn't get pushed back any furthur... it seems to be the trend with pooter games at the moment, although I do get my GameCube on tuesday which is a plus... so I think I can hold out a little longer 😀

Naaarrrggghhh! Why do they keep toying with us? What possible reason can there be for delaying it from a march Launch title to late August (and no doubt early September etc...) I know it is a fairly common occurence for games to be delayed, but this is so far beyond a joke it isn't funny. Every time I check on the release date is has been pushed back yet further... I was in a bad mood when I heard about the 9th... now you give me even worse news 😡 .

Well versions of the game are being sent out to magazines for Review or preview, whatever they sent 'em out for and apparently so far it is very very impressive indeed. I'm hoping it doesn't suffer from Spiderman: The Movie syndrome... Awful Cameras and awful controls!!!
Well we all know that's why the first release was set back, camera and controls were very jerky indeed and well bugs... lots of bugs... so now hopefully when the release comes we should have a wonderful piece of software on our hands...
