More Randy Giles, please!

I know eh? I don't think it would have really worked to repeat it, unfortunatly, but I LOVED him as Randy, laughed so hard!

One of the up points in the series for me, for sure! 😀
 
yeah if it had been used again, It would have destroyed the joke. Thats what so great about the Buffy writers they know not to overuse stuff!

Actually, it would have made a nice little continuity nod to Buffy if there had been an episode of Angel where Spike had been required to go undercover and he had used the Randy Giles identity as an alias. Could have been hilarious. 😀

I thought there was something of a foreshadowing to Randy Giles in "Tabula Rasa" - that scene in "Restless" - Xander's dream with Spike and Giles on the swings, both in tweed:

SPIKE: Giles here is gonna teach me to be a Watcher. Says I got the stuff.

yeah i absolutly loved that episode,restless and tabula rasa. i love spike and giles.

spike is an excelent charature, mean evil, emotional and bloody funny 🙂 a full well rounded charature 🙂

Tabula Rasa one of my favs...I just love when Spike falls off the counter and screams...I lmao every time! Randy Giles was great!

Lol...they are hillarious
this was my favorite episode of all the seasons. He looked so hot in the suit and thought he was Giles son. How funny is that when in fact he was like a hundred years older. HAHA. Also Jone? i mean come on, she could have come up with a better name then Jone.
 
in this ep i liked xander and willow a lot. they thought that they were in love, and dawn called him alex. spike was the best thinking that he was a good vampire...

Randy was cool. But I agree, it wouldn't have worked if their was more.
 
I have to admit with the way all the characters had changed drastically during Tabula Rusa I wouldn't have minded at all if the rest of the show continued with the characters remaining they way they were because not only was it VERY entertaining it was also very funny I loved the chemistry that appeared between some of the people and the way they behaved towards each other was an interesting thing to watch.
 
It was interesting that Spike didn't want to bite Buffy. Given that he had no memory of who he was, what he was hadn't changed, he was still a vampire. Given that 'Randy Giles' wasn't in love with Buffy, then you have to conclude that the basic principles of Spike had already fundamentally changed by this point.
