Most annoying cast member of season 3

I'd say Xander..it just really pissed me off how he was so jealous of angel and Buffy..and how he ran off like a little girl to tell Giles..about angel coming back..I mean I know she was wrong for doing that to Giles..but I'm sure most of us would have done the same thing. Also...another thing was I the only one pissed when Xander wanted angel dead..and how he acted like he owned buffy? I mean he never liked angel since day one..
 
yeah i see what your saying about Xander acting like he owned buffy but i didnt find any of the characters in season 3 annoying.... i thought season 3 was really good... ... and there were times when characters annoyed me but that was intentional and it actively positioned the audience into feeling that way... season 3 of Buffy i would have to say was perfect....
 
I loved Xander in season three! I guess he didn't always make the best decisions, but every character screws up. I really like season three of Buffy. The only character that I can think of right now that annoyed me was Buffy. But she annoyed me every season. 😉

I agree. I hate it when Xander gets all jealous and starts to act all angry like he and Buffy actually have something. That's the only time that I ever dislike Xander but other than that, he's okay.
 
i can't say anyone annoyed me in S3...it was a pretty perfect season, excpet for a few bad eps like 'Dead Man's Party'
 
i agree with lyri...although i did like 'dead man's party'

season three was the 2nd best season of buffy ever...2nd only to season 2
 
Could there ever be an annoying character on Buffy? Especially in season three?

I don't think anybody got on my nerves, except for Faith. She didn't annoy me though, I just didn't really like her character. So, nobody annoyed me. I though they each had their own endearing moments (yes, even a few Fatih moments).

Yes! Totally agree on the Faith thing.
I found the mayor, pretty annoying in some episodes not all of them.

I hated him in the episode Witch, I just didn't see why he was there, but then it all became clear. I didn't hate him for the whole season.

I also found Xander really annoying. He was so whiney! When I think of him in this series, i hear Willows voice, from season 6 taking the piss out of dawn, but instead of her saying what she did to Dawn, she's saying 'Giles, Buffy's back with Angel!' 'Giles, Buffy didn't tell us Angel's back!'

You get the idea. Other than that I found most characters in season 3 really entertaining. I loved Faith!
 
I love Xander, he's definitely one of my favorites, but even I can admit his behaviour in Season 3 was a bit irritating with the whole Angel situation. I felt bad for Cordy who knew she'd never compare to Buffy in Xander's heart....that's gotta be hard to take.
 
i found buffy annoying in season 3. but to be fair, i always find her annoying. with the exception of season 1. she's just too whiny. season 3 was definately the best season though. an entire season with both oz and faith! oh yes 😀

While perhaps Xander didn't act with all of the maturity and poise that he could have in Season 3, I still liked him. I'm with the others..it's hard to find a 'least favourite' or annoying character in any of the seasons..least of all Season 3! 🙂
 
I definitely did not like Wesley. He was a much better character when he was on Angel.

Whaaat? Okay I'd be really annoyed with the Mayor if he was a real person, but in BtVS I just love such a character.

Season 3 is my favourite season and I think most characters are at their best here... I can agree that Xander has a few annoying moments, but not many of them. The onyl person who can really annoy me is Angel.. And, in some situations (especially when it's got to do with Faith), Buffy...
 
Yeah, I didn't like Wesley on there either. Dorky. I loved him on Angel, though.
 
Yeah eponinethan, I found him annoying.

I forgot about Wesley, Gemini, he was annoying but not so much that I wanted to cut my ears or eyes out. If I want to do that when a character comes on the screen then I know they are annoying!
 
I didn't find Xander annoying in season 3 at all. We all know he was jealous of Angel, but lets not forget the danger of the situation. Angelus terrorized the whole gang (mostly Buffy and Giles I know) less that a year before that. It was probably pretty hard to accept that fact that he had his soul again and everything was back to normal. Also don't forget that Xander was only 17 or 18 at the time.
 
I can pretty much say that no character really irritated me for any length of time during season three. If it was going to be anyone it would have been Wes, solely because he made wrong decisions a few times, but hey he's human and that doesn't really merit a hatred for the guy. I think it's one of the strongest seasons for characters and in this season, even if you don't like the characters reactiosn to things you can see why they reacted in the way that they did and not hate them for it.
 
I have two candidates;

Cordelia for she didn't forgive Xander

Oz for he forgave Willow
