Most annoying cast member of season 3

Joyce hands down. Like she has no blame in buffy being gone and the all the micro managing and putting down giles and the whole witch thing.... Joyce was LAME this season...

Lame? She was being a mother. To be honest, she was one of the more realistic characters.

I think trying to burn people at the stake qualifies for lame. I'm not to sure about realistic though... but perhaps motherly in a Buffy way. I love Joyce as a chacter a cried and cried when she died, but season three was not her bright and shiny moment. Although I thought she was super nice to Spike in Lovers Walk. ( However; I cannot be trusted in such maters of spikeyness as I have major gooey feelings about that character)
 
Are you kidding? Did you even watch Gingerbread?

Joyce did not try to burn Buffy at the stake because shes a bad mum or anything. She was under a spell! So that does not in any way make her lame! Come up with a better example

What about her resentment of Giles in the beginning of Band candy? She came off pretty bitchy.
Hey listen they asked who I thought was the most annoying character in season three and I think in such an awsome season if I had to pick one it would be Joyce. All the rest of the season she comes off great and I reaLISE THAT SHE WAS STILL DEALING WITH THE WHOLE MY DAUGHTER IS CHOSEN THING, BUBT C'MON SHE WAS ALL OVER BUFFYS ASS THE WHOLE (sorry about the caps ) season and I found that annoying. thats all
 
Her daughter was 17 years old and left home without calling for months. She had every reason to act how she did.
Anyway, different discussion from the point of the thread.
 
I'd say Wesley. He was awful. I agree he was way better on Angel.

But Xander also got on my nerves, particularly in The Zeppo.

I didn't like Joyce much after Gingerbread in season 3. I know it wasn't her fault and that it wasn't really her (along with all the other insane parents) who was going to burn Buffy (and Willow and Amy) at the stake, but it really does make your personal thoughts about the character shift. I admit I found that episode kinda funny... almost everyone was so completely out of character.
 
I think Xander was annoying in season 3 because he was so jealous of Angel. But I think the most annoying cast member of season 3 was with out a doubt Wesley. I didn't care for him in Buffy, but liked him in Angel.

Wesley was annoying cause was questioning Giles and he had no respect from Buffy nor was as close to Buffy as Giles was. Giles was the father figure Buffy never had.
 
I'd have to agree with those who said Wesley. I didn't mind the stuffy English image that Giles portrayed in season 1, but I didn't like it on Wes. He seemed to take it too far. At least Giles had a back bone 🙂

Plus what were the writters thinking having him interested in Cordy...that was a little ick 😛

Yeah I really didn't like Wesley either. He bothered me. Besides him liking Cordy, that is sick. I also think that Scott was annoying too. He just didn't fit Buffy that well. I am glad they weren't together long.
 
The most annoying character on season 3? Definitely Angel. His romance with Buffy stole time from underused and less developed characters (I'm thinking primarily of Oz and Faith), yet he himself did not get that much character development. So it wasn't so much the character, but what could have been done instead.
 
I don't know why I think that Wesley and Cordy like each other is disgusting but Angel and Buffy liking each other is not. I just do.
 
I don't think that Wesley liking Cordelia is icky. I mean let's face it, she didn't look like a teenager. Maybe that has to do with the fact that Charisma was in her late twenties when season 3 aired.

As for most annoying cast member of season 3, I would have to say Scott Hope wins hands down.
 
ok, the only annoying character I found was really actually Angel. He irritated me with the whole "bangel" cant happen crap, and as much as buffy gets on my nerves too, it made me feel bad for her.
