Most Devoted Couple?

I think Willow and Tara were pretty devoted to each other...apart from Willow's lapse into dark magic.

I have to fly the flag for Bangel though...I mean they were a devotathon! In the three seasons they were together (and in HUGE ways after) they were completely devoted to each other. They tried not to be but they were.

I agree. Even after they were broke up Angel gave up being a human and living happily ever after just so he could help her fight/ protect her. (Epi. I Will Remember You)

Yup, my sentiments exactly. They were completely devoted to each other, even when they broke up that didn't go away.
 
I really have to disagree that Fred/Wes was one of the most devoted. Ok Wes was slightly obsessed with her, but they were only really together for one episode. Sprusilla, tillow, bangle, spuffy, xanya and willoz were all more devoted than Fresley.

It took Fred an awfully long time to reciprocate Wes' affections.
Even though Angel and Buffy are my favorite couple I think that willow and tara are the perfect couple.

but also Willow and Oz (yes I know she's gay but they were devoted. He took her back even though she cheated with Xander and she accepted him even though he was a werewolf. They had a very loving, stable relationship throughout high school).

Buffy and Angel are very devoted because neither one of them has been able to find a healthy relationship since theirs ended.

Xander left Anya at the altar so that kind of counts them out although I love them.

for the Jossverse though my vote is with Zoe and Wash 🙂
 
I'm jumping on the bandwagon with saying Willow/Tara. I'd love to say Willow/Oz, but... there was this whole werewolf skank thing... and the thing with Xander. Though there were still very devoted to each other (can I say PEZ witch? "Now we have to get a PEZ werewolf so little PEZ witch can have a boyfriend." Aaaw.), even considering their little "affairs".

On Angel... hm, Groo was very devoted to Cordelia and she to him, for the time being. But it was definitely a one-sided devotion in the long shot what with her being in love with Angel and making Groo Angel's stand-in.
 
I don't know. I guess I'm going to agree with a lot of people and say it's Willow/Tara, because when Tara died Willow went crazy and also, when they were on the verge of breaking up, Willow did all she could to keep Tara. I love W/T, too. =]

I almost agree with this. See, I think Spike was more devoted to Drusilla so it wasn't such a balance. Drusilla's true love is chaos and violence. Don't get me wrong, I love Spru but I don't think they necessarily qualify for this one.

To be honest, I'm starting to hate words like "most" and "better" when talking about couples in the show. Really, it all comes down to personal opinion and interpretation.

By devoted, do you mean the couple that stayed together the longest? Because that were the case, I'd vote for Bangel. After all, they did keep trying and trying to make it work despite the fact that it, well, wasn't.

But, if you mean something else by "devoted", like which two were the most intense together, or who were the closest, I'd vote for Tillow or Xanya. If Tara and Anya hadn't bit the dust, I feel both sets had what was needed to make it work in the long run (perhaps *gasp* enough to break the "rule" in the 'verse, that no couple ends up happy together.)
 
Well, if you mean devoted as in "zealous or ardent in attachment, loyalty, or affection" I'd say Willow and Tara take the cake. They were completely attatched to each other, devoted in their love...Tara was even so devoted to helping Willow stop using magic she couldn't be with her. Although, you could definately say some of the other couples were completely devoted to each other also but we got more on screen healthy devotion from Willow and Tara then almost anyone else so maybe that's partly why they spring up first in a lot of peoples minds.

In my personal opinion the most devoted couple ever is Buffy and Angel...i won't make a list of their actions of true love towards each other,but i am sure that whenever Buffy was in a relationship,she was still thinking about Angel...and whenever Buffy faced a hard moment in her life,Angel was there...

Also Wes and Fred...one word "Lineage"...what more do i have to say?
 
My opinion, It's got to be Trillow. I mean, they just seemed devoted to eachother. They had something in their realationship that the other ones on the show did not. What is that? I've got no clue. I think her and Oz had it too. It going to drive me crazy now but I just can't put my finger on it! Maybe it's Willow? She gave everything and unlike Buffy who killed Angel to save the world, I just cannot see Willow ever killing Tara to do something like that.
