Are there any lines in either Buffy or Angel that make you cringe everytime you hear them?

I have a couple...

Spike's "I'm a bloody animal!" in Doomed, Willow's "Fly, my pretty, fly!" in Grave.

I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head!

absolutely the Spike one - I hate It!

OMG!! The Willow one is awful, especially how Alyson says it, it's so cheesy.

I agree with the Willow thing. Why didn't Joss see how stupid it sounded?
I love the "Fly my pretty, fly" line. As a line. I hate the delivery and the way it was really squished in.

I think we need to get the "When I kiss you I want to die" line out of the way!

yes! that has to be by far my most hated line too.
I dunno.. I guess most bangel lines.

And for some reason the "I'm a bloody animal" also makes me... yuck

yeah... bangel lines... karma :) :)
XANDER............... ''BLINVISIBLE'',(life serial s6) kill kill kill.

i thought it was dumb too..... blinvisible is funny...to me... but i mean couldnt they come up with anything ANYTHING better?

no invisible man refs? susan storm refs? nothing

"Willow's a junkie", yeah we get it, addiction to magic is a metaphor for drug use. Yawn.

Xander:" Your certainly a font of nothing." from Welcome to the Hellmouth/Harvest ....Don't know why but I always hated this line so much

^^ I like that line, but maybe that's because I'm a font of nothing.

LOL I don't know why it always bothered me... It just sounds weird I guess. I thought it was overkill from writers who were clearly trying to make the characters sound "cool" and different from everything else on TV.

"Right now I'm just trying to breathe", from The Prom, I don't know why but it makes me really angry, and it's lines like this that make me hate bangel!

I don't mind that line, but yeah, that's why I'm not a huge fan of Bangel either. Everything is so like... cheesy.
ummmm

Spike: Im drowning in you, Summers.....thats really pissing me off

and that line when Angel reveals that he is evil, I dont remember it exactly, but i remember that it sounded off

I liked "Blinvisible" and "You're certainly a fon of nothing"

I nearly forgot Buffy: When you kiss me, I want to die......bitch

i seem to be the only person who doesn't mind the bangel lines. i actually like the "when you kiss me, i want to die" line.

I hate "I'm a bloody animal" - That line is so cringe-worthy that makes me hate the whole episode!
I also hate the "When I kiss you I want to die" - It just so clumsy
And also, I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of the whole 'cookie dough' thing either.

oh God, the cookie dough thing drives me nuts!
"Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill" was Xander's line when they were talking about killing Angel...I can't remember which episode its in but I wanted to hit Xander for saying that.

I can forgive that line due to LOVING that movie.

It was Passion. I don't mind the line, it just seemed... out of place.
During "Out of my Head" Riley is playing basketball. During the game some guy keeps babbeling "Kick it up, Kick it up."

I've played a bit of basketball in my day. I understand court jargon. I know I've never heard that phrase anywhere. I'm not sure though, maybe I'm out of the loop and it's a west coast thing. Still drives me nuts, though.

For a mid westerner like myself, It seemed like something you'd more likely hear at an aerobics class when doing stairs or something. To me it doesn't work/didn't fit, and to this day it's like nails on a chalkboard. It's alittle pet peeve of mine! 😛

It has no purpose in that episode and is not even spoken by a cast member, its a line by an extra....but every time I hear it and every time it makes me crazy........

LMFAO Never noticed this... I'll have to watch it again now!
In welcome to the hellmouth when they 2 girls are talkin in the changing rooms, and they say ''NAY''......''POS''

Darla: He's a good one. His blood is pure.

Her lisp makes me wanna stake myself

This line didn't really mame me mad, but a lot of Darla's lines drive me to jumping on a sword.
^ oh that reminds me of the line of Darla's that I hate most - when she says (something along the lines of) "You're sick, you love someone who hates us..." - the lispy/fangy delivery makes the line laughable.

Your sicks, and you'll always be sick. (Yeah, it's weird)
