Me!!!! Probably because sometimes it feels like everyone around here is kinda "cliquey" and they separate themselves into these little groups where they make BB Families and Prom Dates and Vampire Orders...

Not Trying to be the rain on the parade , but don't these threads kinda get redundant?
 
Yeah,kinda,sorry😛...Try posting in them,you might have some fun. Sorry if you feel a lil left out or if they just bother you.
 
I FULLY understand where you are coming from. I do tend to post in these threads, because, on one hand, I like the feeling of hominess that has begun on this board. The thing is, while for our older members, it's sweet, our newer members seem to feel a little scared away by the fact that everyone's got a group and they don't-your right, it isn't fair.

But, I ask that you guys don't get scared away by it-Buffy Boards is a very loving community and we welcome everybody. We love new and different people, so nobody should feel discouraged! BB Hugs all around TO EVERY ONE OF OUR MEMBERS!!!! 😀
 
I dont think everyone is really like majorly trying to make anyone feel bad in Fact Magui is one of the nicest people i've ever talked to i mean we dont talk much but i know she makes alot of these threads for fun only... But i dont think you'd be pick last from your posts you seem fun and interesting and the type that would make friends around the board easily...
 
I like you, and some people do know you, you won cutest member and all. For me I loose my memory a bit (not a lie, I have a REALLY bad memory). I think its because you dont depart much from DDG much.

But I understand you must get PO'd.
 
I didn't really start this thread as a self-pity thing! Sorry if I came off that way!!! I just noticed some of Caridad's Watch's posts in these threads and I felt empathetic with her. Thanks for your response!
 
No problem, sometimes we do get gangy but all you gotta do is make us like you 😛 Besides I love you because you were the first (and currently only) person to request a banner from me, which made me feel loved.

God this is turning all Daytime TV.
 
I try to avoid daytime tv...except passions to mock it occassionaly. Anyways I like you lot too Ash!!! You made me an awesome banner. I felt weird asking but I realized that most people ask for banners. I wish I was more artistic, but hey, we can't all be perfect at everything (that was the cordy in me coming out). 🙂
 
I agree i feel weird asking people too otherwise i probley would PM ashsan for a banner cause he rocks but i dunno i like showing of my crappy work lol By the way now that i just openned that up like i didn't know Ashsan was taking banner requests...

On the Banner topic, I really love mine...I love Cordy & I'm a shoe freak so it fits me perfectly. And there lots of pretty long haired cordy pics in it 🙂

I prefer Charisma with long hair, the only reason for the short hair was because at the moment she was all "Yay clothes" but you didn't really see that, it also seems out of place because the rest are close ups but I must stop criticising my work.

Like Jacklyn above me I too feel the same, lately there is the same threads created only with the outlook of a different angle, which personally I don't tend to post in very often, only if i'm bored. Its not that I don't want to chat to the members, I just don't find them fulfilling and would rather have a discussion about something than who my friends are.
 
True. And the other thing I wanted to add is that this is why we have rules against board families and groups and such and why we used to close a lot of threads like that. Because it does make others feel left out. (Not because we are mean lol.)
 
Well,if they don't post no one will choose them. I always edit my posts on those threads cuz I always miss half the people I wanted to mention. I remember and edit my posts when I see those people on other threads. If they don't post no one will remember them. And everyone has been newbie once,being a newbie doesn't mean being left out. If you're new and don't post,don't send PMs,don't participate of Pltrz Glrb(sp?) you can't expect everyone will choose you.
I was a newbie once too.I remember I felt like an idiot cuz I wasn't good with english...not that I've improved😛..but,that's not the point,the thing is that I know what is like being a newbie and don't having a lot of friends. But it really is up to you. You can critize the old members for trying to have fun,or you can join them and have fun with them.
Buffy Boards exists to discuss Buffy,Angel,TC,ect...but if you don't have friends,discussing the shows would get boring cuz you'd feel alone. You guys may feel that way,well,join 'crap' threads,you might feel a lil bit more at home.

Um, yeah...I do notice that certain people seem to "click" together more than others. I don't think it is ever in a negative way though. What I love about this board is that EVERYBODY is pretty cool and like some of you already mentioned, very welcoming. I love everybody here, but I do admit, I just tend to connect with some more than others. I don't think that is a negative thing, just a natural progression that people have. (or maybe it's just me! 😀 😛 lol ) I'm not best friends with all of my friends in real life...same on the board, I suppose.

Rock on, to ALL BB members! 😀
 
I bought my purple streaks with my pet store money although I don't know how it all relates to my store points..trying to figure that one out.

I know how you felt Cordy Chase...I felt exactly the smae when I first came here. But I really started posting alot and eventually started to make friends. Actually, I still don't have very many....lol. But hey...if I was picking teams...I would pick you!

Also liking the purple streaks yu bought...very cool!!!!
