Those are just examples. Most memorable for me would preg Darla staking herself in Lullaby. My favourite is definately vampire willow in Dopplegangland.

* And by most memorable/ favourite, I mean the scene where the vampire turned to dust, not the character of the vampire itself.

My fave would probably be Willow in Doppelgangland also. I mean, that was classy, coming back to her world only to get dusted by Oz.
 
I have to say in 'City Of' when Angel killed those vampires with the wooden stakes that come out of his arms. That's a favourite of mine.
 
Hmmm, this is a hard one for me. There are a lot of really awesome stakings in the Buffyverse. I thought Darla staking herself was beautiful, but my most memorable dusting was seeing Angel get dusted by Drusilla in Buffy's dream.

Luke in Season 1 Episode 2, thinking that a street light was the sun, allowing Buffy time to decapitate him. I've always loved that one. That, and Mr Trick "Normally, I don't do my own fighting, but I just GOTTA see what you've got," only to be blindsided by a hungry snake demon god.
 
Spike and Angel getting dusted by Illyria when she was causing time distortions.

Holden Webster: "Buffy, I'm here to kill you, not to judge you." Best line in Season 7.

The dream wedding where Buffy marries Angel then Buffy walks out in the sunlight and burns up.

Angel takes the Ring of Amarra from a vamp in daylight.

Holt pushes his daughter into the sunlight.

In "Helpless", the vampire swallows holy water.

Mr. Trick gets dusted.

Amanda takes out the vamp at the school before she knows she's a Potential.

In "Harvest", Jesse gets bumped into a stake and dusts.

In "All the Way", Dawn dusts her first love.
 
I like the out of screen dusting in The Harvest (I think it is)
The one with the pool stick. You don't see the vampire only the stick that goes up in air. It's just so cheap and funny. 🙂

I have another:

I think it's at the beginning of Prom, Buffy's fighting with Angel and she stakes her vampire and then kicks her.
 
I really liked the way Mr. Trick went out. I would have liked to see him on the series longer, but the way he went out was pretty awesome, and his final line was great.

Another one, and I'm not sure if this counts in the same way because it's a dusting as opposed to a staking, was in "City Of..." when Angel takes down Russel Winters at the end of the episode. He throws him out the window of his skyscraper and he dissolves to dust on the way down. I thought that was so killer.
 
Darla dusting in season one of Buffy and in season three of Angel. the master in prophecy girl, not really a dusting but Buffy and dracula. Gunn killing his sister in season 1 of Angel.
 
I love Adam beheading the vampire barehanded in Who Are You. I usually hate Adam, the effect looks bad, but I just love the fact that they actually beheaded a vampire like that.
 
One of the first funny ones that comes to mind is the stoner dude in The Freshman. On a more serious note, we can't forget Holden in Conversations With Dead People.
 
Another good one: Willow levitates a pencil and plunges it into the vampire when she is being held by the Mayor.

You know, this has always been one that kind of bugged me, even if the effect was cool. All I can really think about when I re-watch it is that there is no way in hell a pencil would ever be able to get through a body and to the heart. No way. I know, I know, in a scene where a teenage girl magically levitates a pencil and flies it into a mystical vampire's heart, the realism of the pencil probably shouldn't be the tipping point, but for whatever reason, it is.
 
I personally think one of the best stakings on the show was when Xander killed Theresa the vampire in "Phases" (They actually used that shot in the credits from Seasons 3-5, so the showwriters must've thought it was cool too).
Also, the one Spike kills in "All the Way" (No, I'm a rebel. You're an idiot).
On a side note, the same episode featured the most awkward staking as well, when Buffy slams a car door on a vampire's head. I actually cringe every time I watch that because it looks so bad, and realisticly, I don't think it could have worked.
 
I like Darla in Lullaby, but also the cool effect in OMWF at the end of Going Through the Motions when Buffy stakes the vamp and then steps through the ash.

I have the script for this bookmarked - great visuals!
I can't believe I forgot this, but there are two that go together really well, and play as kind of twisted reflections of each other:

Faith dusting Mr. Trick in Consequences, and Buffy dusting Boone in Who Are You. Both of them stake the vampire from behind to save the other, and the way it's shot, they disappear and then it shows Faith/Buffy standing there. What makes it really interesting is to compare the two: both times, it's Eliza standing there, but with completely different contexts and expressions. It shows how pretty much the exact same shot can mean completely different things, and they're such interestingly twisted versions of each other. I just... I'm rambling about this a bit too much.
