Most Overrated Episode

For me it's The Body. I know it's a very sad episode and whatnot, but I just found it so slow, half an hour of crying is not my idea of good telly. I understand that this ep has to be this way, but I think it's overrated.

Where's all the hating for "Tabula Rasa" coming from? Great, unique episode, i struggle to see how you wouldn't be entertained by watching it. I definately see it as a lot more entertaining than "Restless" which was just a show packed with dreams.
 
BtVS: Once More, With Feeling. It's good. I mean, it's REALLY REALLY good. But, I'm sorry -- it's NOT the best Buffy episode, IMO. It's just... not.

AtS: Smile Time. It was funny, yeah, but not THAT funny.

That episode has my heart, always. 😉

I'm very surprised, though, by how many people think 'Restless' is overrated. I think that episode is absolutely brilliant, and it's constantly being mentioned as one of the best of the entire series.

TR wasn't horrible, but I didn't think that it was very well done, the characters were MUCH too similar to their regular selves. Which is why I love Spin the Bottle 100,000,000,000 times more. 😉

The Pack also was OK, I just found the plot to be pretty unexciting.

As The Grandmaster said, I understand that it was supposed to be a sad episode, and the acting was fantastic, but I'm just not that into watching crying and grieving for an entire episode. 🙂

... I just don't really like the Gift...

I found IWRY to be kinda cheesy, actually, and I always get annoyed at the characters. I don't like seeing my heroes turned into romantic cotton candy. 😀

I just couldn't get too invested in Passion, not really sure why. 🙂
 
Why are people saying 'The body'? ;(

I think Smile time, a hole in the world and hero are over rated.
Hero was pretty boring episode until the end..

I find Restless to be more interesting. It gives us the insight into the core four, I was more entertained getting into Buffy, Xander, Willow and Giles' deepest fears and insecurites. 🙂 I laughed more at Giles' song in Restless than all the tacky jokes in Tabula Rasa (Though I admit that the Randy/Rupert/Enya scenes were so funny, best part in Tabula Rasa)

i love the Randy/Rupert scenes.
OMWF...i just hate musicals..i've watched it a couple times and still can't really enjoy it..i know everybody loves it but it's just not for me..please don't bash lol 🙂

I Will Remember You is definitely overrated.

Yes, it has all of the Bangel-y goodness a Bangel could handle, but there's many other Bangel-centric episodes I prefer to it. I can't understand how some say it's the best Angel episode... because Angel has A LOT of eps that just blow IWRY away.

It's fun and it's sad and it's not horrible, but as a person who thinks AtS Season 1 is generally less better than other AtS seasons, it's still not my favorite ep of S1. And, I think it's praised and given a little too much credit.

Besides that; call me selfish or whatever, but I like Angel as a Vampire with a Soul 😛 I don't really like how it's suggested that Bangel won't work unless Angel is human. I understand the reason why... but their main obstacle is the happiness clause which i'm sure can be taken care of without Angel having to be human.

Anyways, that was off topic so yeah. I do agree that IWRY is overrated. Not to say it's not good, because it is, but it's not the 'best'.

I also agree with Hero being overrated. I cry worse when Doyle dies than I do with any other Buffyverse death, BUT aside from the beginning/end that episode is kind of boring. I enjoy the 'hero' references, but other than that it's a weak episode.

Why the sudden hate for Tabula Rasa? its probably the only decent episode from season 6 I love.

TR is so funny. I laugh every single time.
My only problem with it is that the memory loss didn't last long enough, IMO.
They could've done a little more with it, I think.
