Most painful moments?

What do you think are the most painful moments in all of Buffy and Angel? Name one or name 'em all... name as many as you like. What are the moments that made you cry or feel a pang? Whichever.

I have a feeling that the B/A shippers' moments are very similar...
 
The end of Hero from season 1 of Angel. It was even sader because when I watched it Glenn Quinn had just died and it was like "their is no way he is ever coming back in Angel cause hes dead". One of the few times a show has made me cry.
 
-The end of "Becomming pt.2", of coarse.
- When Buffy and Angel are kissing in "I only have eyes for you"
-In "Passion". (you all know what i mean).
-I almost cried when Buffy was dreaming in "Anne"
-Again, almost cried when everyone was ganging up on our poor little Buffy in "Dead man's party".
-At some point during "Helpless", the moments btw. Buffy and Giles.
-When Angel tells Buffy he's leaving her.
-When Angel shows up at the prom and Dances with Buffy.
-When Buffy sees Angel walking away in "Graduation Day pt. 2"
-When Oz leaves in "Wild at heart" (Big crocodile tears here).
-All though "The Body".
-"The Gift".
-Dawn and Buffy on the tower in "Barganing pt 2."
-When Xander leaves Anya in "Hells Bells".
-"Seeing Red" (Tara, sob).
-Lots during "Grave".

Many, many times during season seven.
 
hmmmmmm when giles walks into see jenny dead in the ep passion and when buffy started ignoring dawn, like in the ep. Potential when she started to care less about dawn and when they kicked buffy out of the house-i dont know if that is a spoiler

Innocence- like 10 times: when Angelus is all mean to Buffy when she doesn't know he's changed, when she can't kill him in the mall, and at the end when she lets the candle burn 🙁

Passion- when Giles calls Willow and Buffy and you see Buffy slide down against the wall...and then Willow starts sobbing...

Becoming Part 2 - every time i watch this i start crying from the point where Buffy hugs Angel, realising that he has returned, and the look on her face is so heartbreaking because she knows what she has to do. Needless to say, the rest of the scene is soo painful.

Season 3 doesn't have too much weepiness in it...pretty much only in The Prom when Angel breaks up with Buffy, and then again at the end of the episode. Twice. Hehe. Once when Buffy gets her Class Protector award, and then again when Giles says "Every now and then," and Buffy turns to see Angel. By the time they start dancing, i'm just a wreck!

I could go on but I don't want you all to think that all i do is cry at Buffy! It also has some really funny stuff! Hehe.

(I also cry at The Body, The Gift and Chosen.)
 
-When Buffy killed Angel in "Becoming".

-The end of "Tabula Rasa", which saw Dawn reacting to the break-up of Willow and Tara; and Buffy's reaction to Giles' departure.

-Anya's reaction to being abandoned at the altar in "Hell's Bells".

-Buffy and Faith's inability to communicate with each other in "Revelations".

-Buffy confronting Joyce and the Scoobies over her disappearance in "Dead Man's Party"

-Wesley brooding over his attack upon Fred in "Billy"

-Spike's reaction to Buffy's "You're beneath me" remark in "Fool For Love".

-The church scene between Buffy and Spike "Beneath You"

-Xander stopping Willow from destroying the world in "Grave"

-Darla's death and Connor's birth in "Lullaby"

-Doyle's death in "Hero"

-Spike's "death" in "Chosen"

-Willow dealing with the pain of Tara's death in "Killer in Me"

-Anya's "Who Am I" song number in "Selfless"
 
Becoming Pt2 - When Buffy killed Angel

Beauty and The Beast - When Angel came back and they was in the school and he just hugged her legs

Helpless - Giles looking after Buffy near the end

The Prom - Angel breaking up with Buffy. Angel and Buffy dancing

Graduation Pt2 - Angel walking away

The Body - Buffy finding her mom then when Giles came in and she goes dont move the body and she realises.

Forever - Buffy and Angel. Dawn and Buffy at the end

The Gift - Buffy sacraficing her life for Dawn, The faces of The Scoobs when they saw Buffy. Spike thanking Buffy for making him feel like a man.

Barganing Pt2 - Buffy saying is this hell on the tower when with Dawn

Grave - Xanders speech to Willow

Chosen - Spike and Buffy talking before he's going to die. Spike dieing. The Scoobs stood near the crator(Sunnydale)
 
Okay, another B/A shipper here, I wasn't a huge Buffy fan at the time, some friends and I rented a Buffy video that happened to be Becoming...tears all round.
 
- "Innocence" Angelus hurts Buffy in his apartment.
- "Becoming P2" (you all should know when)
- "Amends" Buffy's speech to Angel
- "The Prom" The break-up scene is so well written and the last dance between Buffy and Angel is one of the most painful moments in all of the series.
- "Wild at Heart" When Oz leaves.
- "New Moon Rising" When Oz leaves.
- "The Gift" I cried the most when Buffy died!
- "IWRY" Can you guess which scene?
- "Hero" When Doyle dies... 'cause of Glenn Quinn.
- "Bargaining Part 1 & 2" I just cried all through both eps.
- "The Body" Anya talking about how she doesn't understand why Joyce is dead.
 
*When Buffy and Angel only have one minute left in "I will remember you"
*When Willow visits Tara's grave and shes practitly crying.
*Xander's talk with Willow in the end of Grave.
*Mostly all of Chosen.

That is the moment which set's me off all the time, I love how it is done.

Do ya want me to identify the moment from the episode's I chose or is it fine just stating the episode's where I cryed, or felt very teary???

Those were some pretty heart wrenching moments for me too.

Also, when anyone died...ya know, I could never possibly make a list of every moment that tore my heart out. And if I tried I would probably spend the whole night crying so I'll leave it to you all thank you... 😉
 
The Split second after Tara got shot, that look on AH face, she is a great actress.
When Buffy died in the Gift, that kills me, every time. Spike with his head in his hands weeping only makes it worse.
The Body, the look on Buffy's face after Giles walks in and rushes to Joyce's side, and B calls her "the body" and then she gets this horrified look on her face. SMG is a great actress as well.
Willow crying when Oz leaves. Once again awesome job AH
