Most Romantic Moment in the Verse

There's been countless romantic gestures on Buffy and the other Whedon based shows; some big, some small and some twisted. However, what would you say are the top 3 romantic moments overall?

I don't want this to be a Spuffy/Bangel thing, but when it comes to this topic I can't imagine there's much escape from it 😛
 
The ones that first come to mind for me:

1- Spike and Buffy in 'Touched'.
2- Buffy and Angel at the end of 'The Prom'.
3- Willow and Tara at the end of 'Family'.

The last scene of 'I Will Remember You' was more sad than romantic, imo.

1. Spike and Buffy's scene in the abandoned house in Touched.
2. The end of Chosen, the flamey Spuffy hands and 'I love you'.
3. Buffy rescuing Spike from the uber-vamps in Showtime. It's the look she gives him. *melty sigh*

1. When Willow steps up to take care of Tara and tells the nurse, "She's my everything."
2. Angel's sunlight kiss with Buffy in IWRY.
3. Willow and Tara at the end of Entropy. Seriously, was there a more passionate kiss than that on the show? I think not. 😛

*That, and the moment when he says to her at the prom "It looks good on you" so softly and sweetly. 🙂
*When Spike holds Buffy in "Touched".
*Wes and Fred's last moments together, in her room, with Wes reading to her. 🙁
*Angel and Buffy dancing in "The Prom"
*Xander's speech to Anya at the end of "Into The Woods"

"The monkey's the only cookie animal that gets to wear clothes, you know that? You have the sweetest smile I've ever seen. So, I'm wondering, do the other cookie animals feel sorta ripped? Like, is the hippo going, 'Hey, man, where are my pants? I have my hippo dignity!' And you know the monkey's just, (French accent) 'I mock you with my monkey pants!' And there's a big coup in the zoo."

A few of the top ones I remember are:

For Buffy and Angel:
1) Buffy and Angel in I only have eyes for you
2) Buffy and Angel dancing in the prom

For Buffy and Spike:
1) Touched, with Spike telling Buffy she's the one
2) Spike and Buffy kissing at the end of Tabula Rasa
3) Buffy kissing Spike in Intervention

For Anya and Xander:
1) Xander's speech to Anya in into the woods
 
Oh geez, I have to pick only 3?

1.) Tie between Buffy and Spike holding hands and staring into each other eyes while sitting on the couch in "After Life," and their scenes together in "Touched," especially the shot when Spike kisses Buffy head as she sleeps. Oh, but then there's "Intervention," when Buffy softly kisses Spike after protecting her and Dawn from Glory. And also Buffy cuddling next to Spike and stroking his hand as he sleeps in "Chosen." And of course there's their entire last scene together in "Chosen," with the flamey hands and all...

I'll just say that Buffy and Spike had the most romantic moments IMO. 😉 It's hard to pick just one for them! 😀

2.) Angel catching Cordy after she has a vision and saying, "I got you," in "Epiphany."

3.) Willow and Tara at the end of "Entropy," when Tara says she just wants Willow to be kissing her now.

1. Spuffy Touched, of course. The speech and especially the way Buffy looks at Spike. And when she asks him to stay and then further asks him to just hold her? I could have died. Nothing is more romantic than that.
2. SpuffyEnd of Days, when they meet at Buffy's house after she got the scythe. The little awkwardness between them because they both can't say how important it was. I *really* adore the whole little exchange with Spike saying "Were you there with me?" and Buffy saying "I was." Perfection.
3. Tillow In Who Are You? "I am, you know." "What?" "Yours."

And the Honorable Mentions go to...

4. Bangel The Prom. Not the dance, but that moment when Buffy looks up and Angel is there.
5. Cander Also from The Prom. Xander lying to the Gang about why Cordy was in April Fool's. Just a mark of pure sweetness.
 
Willow/Tara:

- "I am, you know. Yours". (Who Are You)
- Tara's song in OMWF if we ignore what happens before or after it. 😉
- "I will always find you" (The Gift)
- The handholding telekinesis spell in Hush. Best subtext ever.

Xander/Cordelia

- "I'll date whoever the hell I wanna date. No matter how lame he is." (Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered)
- Their first kiss. Usually I hate the cliché of two people who insult each other suddenly deciding to kiss but here it totally works. Maybe it's the music. 🙂
 
1) Spike/Buffy- the flaming hands scene in 'Chosen'. Perfect. Usually I am a sucker for dialogue but I love the wordlessness of when they're just clasping hands.

2) Cordelia/Angel-
CORDELIA: I can't stay. This isn't me anymore. You can say good-bye to the gang for me, explain everything once you understand.

ANGEL: That's gonna be never. I need you here.

CORDELIA: (close to tears) Don't make it hard, Angel. I'm just on a different road... and this is my off-ramp. The Powers That Be owed me one, and I didn't waste it. I got my guy back on track.

ANGEL: Cordy, there's just—

CORDELIA: We take what we can get, champ, and we do our best with it. I'll be seeing you.

This scene, oh my god. Perfect, perfect, perfect. I have nothing else to add.

3) Willow/Tara- "She's my everything." from 'Tough Love'.

I unfortunately can't say that I ship Willow/Tara after everything that happens in Season 6, but I absolutely adored them in Seasons 4-5.

honorable mentions go to when Angel comes to Buffy's prom (and I'm not even a Bangel! 😀), Spike's speech in 'Touched', and Wesley's attempt to terminate Lilah's contract with Wolfram & Hart.
