Most Unrealistic Part

I know! I like when Joyce was gone and money was tight, Buffy would try to take the fight outside because she couldn't keep paying for repairs and new furniture. It's like, ya and why didn't you think to do that all along!
 
In one of the season 6 episodes, she did try to watch the inside furniture, trying to bring the fight to the kitchen. "That's a designer lamp, ya mook!"
 
haha yep that's the one I remember! And thank god Xander so conveniently learned how to be a carpenter so he could fix everything that broke!
 
Another thing:
In 'New Moon Rising' (I think, don't quote me on that), Tara throws a chair at were-Oz and knocks him out.
How you gonna knock out a werewolf with a chair? Tara, no offense, isn't even that strong.

Werewolf Oz was knocked out by Forrest's chloroform gun(Sorry. I don't know English word of it). 🙂

I'm not gonna lie. I have this thread bookmarked on my computer so I can post unrealistic parts.
I need to suspend my disbelief.
Anyways, how come Glory never attacked Buffy or anyone in their sleep? She knows where they live, why not just show up, ask once for the key, and if they refuse, kill them? If I was a hell-god, that would be my method. Get them while they're down.
Also, when the portal opens at the top of the tower, why does the magic strike everywhere else BUT the wobbly tower right underneath it? Also, when Buffy falls to the ground and lands ON A PILE OF BRICKS, why is she not all smashed up, head possibly cracked open? That was more than a hundred foot drop, easy.

I never realised this, but yeah. And also, she did a swan dive, so shouldn't she have like landed on her head or face down or something?
Or maybe she spun midair or something, I dunno.

I just watched 'Spiral'.
Spike tells them to get the keys to Ben's car at the end, probably so they could follow Glory.
How did they get back to Sunnydale? Ben probably had the keys in his pocket, so they woulda been there when Glory ran away.
How did they drive the car home with no keys?

OK the thing I found most unrealistic?

The season three finale "Graduation Day Part 2". Now, Joyce knew that something bad was going down at graduation, so she didn't go at Buffy's request....but the rest of the parents did.

When the mayor ascended and turned into a giant snake, everyone in the audience made a run for it except for the students, who stood their ground and fought. So the only people that could possibly have been in the audience, would be the parents, who after seeing the mayor turn into a demon, made a run for it and abandoned their children there to die.

I find it very hard to believe that EVERY student could have warned their parents something was going ot happen and told them either not to come or to run for it...and even harder to believe that the parents would abandon their children EN MASSE to die.

So yeah to me that's the most unrealistic part lol

I always assumed that Willow had the power to read minds/project her thoughts, using magic. And that, in that episode, she pulled out Xander/Buffy's thoughts, and then projected them to the other. If that makes sense?
 
Oz in the cage in the library as a werewolf. How come he never broke something or ruined some books in there? 😛

I'm watching 'Slouching Toward Bethlehem' and Cordelia is looking through the yearbook.
She reads things about the graduation, such as flaming arrows and giant snake. Didn't everyone sign yearbooks BEFORE the graduation? It said they didn't meet up after and I'm sure the last thing they wanna do after a disaster like that is sign yearbooks. I think it was written in afterward to fill space. Plot hole??

The last episode of season 5 where they use the BuffyBot to distract Glory... Buffy could have used that time to get to Dawn, but instead she waited until Glory had realized she'd be fighting a robot before she made herself known. I think that was a complete waste of time.

Also, the episode where Amy turns herself into a rat... I don't believe Joyce would've agreed to burn Buffy at the stake, no matter who was trying to convince her (unless of course she was put under some sort of spell, I was a bit unsure about that). And afterwards, everything's forgotten just like that. I'd have been really pissed off if I were Buffy or Willow, and extremely guilty if I were either of their mums.

Oh, and as someone mentioned earlier, the whole Oz as a wearwolf in the "cage" in the school library. There's no way he wouldn't have been able to break out of there as his wolfy self.

ANDD the whole Willow being a lesbian all of a sudden thing. She was in love with Oz for years, and Xander too. You don't just wake up one morning and stop finding a gender attractive... it would've made way more sense to make her bi than fully gay.

Question (Angel): How exactly did mankind defeat 100,000,000 (a well thought out estimate from "A Hole in the World") Old Ones back in the day, but one (Illyria) could presumably threaten an apocalypse in her true form now?

Minor point (Buffy): If you watch the epp where Riley leaves, Buffy somehow magically knows it is at midnight, but it is made clear she couldn't possibly, all she knew was he leaves "tonight".

How powerful are newly turned vampires? It seems Buffy has less trouble with half a dozen normal vamps than one newly turned one, especially in the later seasons.

I can understand Buffy staking vamps with a pencil, angel killing a werewolf with a pen, but it seems rather easy to stake these supernaturally powerful creatures, even for mortals who do not know how to fight. Do they not have ribcages? Also, where is a vampire's heart? On Angel, they imply that it is shriveled up, walnut-sized, yet it seems anywhere near the center part of the upper chest is good enough. Middle, left, right, from sternum to clavicle.

That is my rant. Thank you for listening.

They mention how nice the scientists are to "Fred". I'm pretty sure they'd be like "Oh Fred you're alive!" and it would raise question.
Plus, they go into Fred's office. Wesley cleaned it empty in an earlier episode.
Hmmmn. So they went into an empty office?

Good point! 🙂 About the office, I think their parents said "It looks empty" or something like that. But they wasn't suspicious much.

I don't think vampires' hair can get longer because they're already dead. Angel used to have mustache in Amends. I guess, he shaved that one out and it's done and done. Maybe Darla shaved it for him. (sw)

Yeah, but he didn't have a moustache when he died, so obviously he is capable of growing one...unless it was one of those sticky ones, lol.
