Motion Comics Part 2

Has there been any news on part 2 of the motion comics yet? I know the 1st are being released in the UK on DVD in October, but I was wondering if there had been any confirmation about a Part 2 being released?
 
To my knowledge information about the release of a UK version of part 2 has not been released yet.
 
I haven't even heard of the part 2 being released in the US yet. Pity, 'cause I want to see it... I have loved being able to watch Part 1 on the motion comic!

I kind of doubt it. Maybe it's just me, but online there seems to be more people disliking than liking the motion comic. If those online voices represnt the rest of the fandom, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Well if that's the case I feel I should bother buying it then; if they're only giving us half a series it seems cruel to get us into only a few eps and not continue with it 😕
 
I feel like they painted themselves into a corner. First off, why tell half a story when you don't even know the end(this came out before the last issue of season 8) thus won't be able to adapt the comic properly(they edited the comics, not having all panels or lines, which could have meant they missed out on something that would be important in the finale). They also don't know if they're telling the story the right way since all they're doing is interpreting the story without the writers' help. Second off, only releasing half the season will make people unwilling to buy it, unless they hear that a second half will come out. So then they don't realize how big the market actually is.

I don't really get how that's legal, but whatever! If Joss & Dark Horse gave their permission, I guess it's OK with me. Although that in and of itself makes me lose interest. Plus, I saw the preview on Amazon, not all that excited. But if it ended up on Netflix, I'd watch it (although I know it's out on Blu-Ray, and I think my membership doesn't include that).

I don't think they did give their permission, it was FOX decision. I don't have a source, but that's what I remember/heard/think.

I haven't read everything written about this, but I did look through comments on whedonesque about the motion comic, and nowhere was Joss or darkhorse's opinions mentioned. I'm guessing they saw no point in giving their opinion. If they liked it, I think they would have said so, to get people to watch the DVD, which in turn might have made more people interested in the actual comic.
 
Just wanted to let you all know that I contacted Fox about the 2nd part of the Motion Comics and I got a reply from one of the workers saying that there's no set date at the moment, but she told me to "stay tuned" because there's an announcement about future releases coming in the next few weeks and the 2nd part of the motion comics could be amongst them. So we'll see 🙂
 
I bought the comics up until the wolf part, Is all of that covered in part 1 of the motion comic? What is the cutoff point? Have more motion thingies been released?
 
I have a general question about the motion comics. Is there anywhere to get a sample of one? I have been so tempted to buy them but I really don't want to be let down.

Probably up on youtube as well, but don't confuse it with the fan made stuff.
If you go to Amazon they have quick peeks at the motion comics. I remember watching a sample of one before. Here is one.
