This amazing Tumblr creates “movie barcodes,” which are basically images made up of every single frame in a movie.

Above is The Lion King’s “movie barcode.” As you can see, the film’s scenes — everything from Simba and Nala frolicking underneath a clear, blue sky to the scary red-and-black scenes where the hyenas are causing havoc — have been smushed together. The result is one epic and colorful piece of art.

From having a look on the movie barcode tumblr (there are loads!), they really are quite unique. The colouring is really quite telling for some of them.

I think I've seen two of them, Toy Story and Brave and I never watched all of The Lion King and gave it away to a friends kid daughter.
Anyways I'd have liked to get Shameful but I didn't bother trying.

I got 6/9 also. Super interesting how some bar codes are basically the same color palate. I'd be curious to see the bar code for like The Dark Knight. What would it be? A black rectangle!

You are all chumps! 6 out of 9. I laugh at that. I got 3 out of 9 simply because I was randomly guessing.. I've seen one of the movies.

Another interesting one is the HP bar code. I know where Kings Cross is.
