Movies that made you cry?

I think you are mistaken. I said I like Lil and Bowie. I said there were parts of it I liked. But the movie made me feel dirty and depressed.

Nope! I was like 15 when I saw A Walk to Remember, and I still think it's a touching story. There was just a moment in The Book of Life, where it got really sad and I got teary.

Star Wars Return of the Jedi (I was 10...the Ewoks, I loved them with all of my soul lol)

I recently watched a movie that made me cry more times in one film than ever before, I think 5 or 6 times in 90 minutes. And I mean a full on, stopped crying dried my eyes and then started up again. If I Stay starring Chloe Grace Moretz. That one got to me, especially the family elements, just so beautiful.

Other than that, any Disney/Animated movie, really, always gets to me. After that, it just depends on the movie I guess.
 
A few off the top of my head:
Whale Rider, Ordinary People, The Magdalene Sisters, Rachel Getting Married & Sometimes in April.
 
Stepmom still makes me cry like no other. I also remember crying to The Shawshank Redemption. Most recently though, it was Moonlight that took the cake. Very deep movie, and it's relatable as hell to me.

Same for me with the two first, such good flicks.
Just returning to the Twin Peaks theme and the film. I think the recent series makes more sense of Film and to me the ending of that film is still very beautiful in an odd sort of way. That is something Lynch does he finds the beautiful in the strangest of things. The end of Fire Walk with Me is like a release for the Laura character.

One of my favourite movies but yes I cry like an absolute baby during the first part and then at the end when she's put all of their pictures in the "things she'll do part" gets me every time.

Still Alice (loved this movie so much that a read the book, incredibly sad and moving)

The end of Toy Story 3 is a sob-fest, but luckilly I can at least make it through most of the film before I'm overcome 😀 When those toys are heading towards that incerator and clasp hands and accept their fate . . . unbearable . . . then Andy gives his toys to Bonnie . . . By the end of that movie I am a mess 😀
 
The Blind Side makes me cry several times throughout.

Moulin Rouge is so tragic and sad even though it's obvious what is going to happen.

Most Disney animated movies make me cry at some point, and the previously mentioned ones especially do, but I will add to that list Bambi and Brother Bear, which is a very underrated and a movie I have a soft spot for.

Every time I watch Independence Day I cry a lot when Russell Case sacrifices his life and tells his kids he loves them.

Most romantic comedies get to me at the part when the girl says I actually thought you were different and make me cry happy tears when the guy does the big romantic gesture at the end.

Nymphomaniac when Joe's father is at the hospital
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II when Dobby, Fred, Tonks and Remus die
Moulin Rouge when Kidman dies
Matrix Revolutions when Trinity dies

I watched Forrest Grump the other day and cried as well when Wright's character died.

etc.

There are certain things that always trigger me. Death is usually one of them but especially children's death. In fact, I can't stand it when children (which includes teens) cry or hurt. It makes me really sad because I feel so protective of them.
