I don't think so. Angel time and again showed that he was willing to go all the way if he thought it was the right thing to do. He went against the SP, knowing he would die and he wouldn't have blown the thing off for anybody. If he didn't do it although he had Connor back in his life, who was the most important person in his life to him, then surely not for Buffy.Nah, I like the way it ended. If he'd put Buffy and Angel back together it wouldnt have ended how it did. I dont believe Angel would ahve gone up against the Senior Partners if he had Buffy back. wouldnt risk his life like that. He knew he was gonna die in that fight and he wouldnt if he was back with Buffy. Spike would probably be the same by then
