Summary: Willow and Kennedy are in Italy, Tara's spirit contacts Willow, and Willow realises she doesn't love Kennedy"¦

[[I haven't really got a reason for this yet, this is my first proper fanfic, so it might not be great. I'm not that good at capturing these characters either. Sorry if it sucks.]]

Part One

Kennedy ran her fingers through Willow's hair, smiling. "You okay? You seem pretty"¦out of it lately."
"I'm Fine," Willow replied, though inside, she was far from fine. All she could think of was moving on with her life, which made her feel guilty. Was this what Tara wanted? It didn't feel right, somehow. As if reading her mind; "It's about Tara, isn't it," Kennedy commented. Willow hated the way she said her name, in a spiteful tone. She had to get out of here. She stood up "I'm going out,"

Stepping onto the cobble sidewalk of Rome, aromas of newly-cooked bread and fresh meat hit Willow's nose, and she felt comfortable for the first time in days. It wasn't that she didn't love Kennedy, it was just she was feeling the feelings she had felt after the first exchange of a kiss. She'd let Tara go. She had a flashback of the window back at 1630 Revello Drive, and she winced. Tara, Baby, I miss you.

Her grief had been stronger since Sunnydale was destroyed, Tara's body was there"¦now it was gone. Taken with all the wreckage. Not caring if people gave her funny looks, she let tears dribble down her cheeks. The salty water warming her skin, caressing her. She imagined Tara's hand there on her cheek, instead, her slender fingers rubbing against Willow.

A feeling of nausea overcame her, in those seconds, knowing she'd never actually feel that again. "You could," Willow jumped. She thought she heard"¦Tara's voice? She was delirious, that was the only explanation. She was seeing a mirage. But it wasn't. She saw Tara there, in front of her, her eyes darted to around the center of Tara's blue shirt"¦The gaping bullet hole. The only difference in death than life, was now she was positively glowing, not just the florescent light that surrounded her. She looked so happy. More tears filled Willow's eyes, and she santo her knees, right there in the middle of the street "Hey, Will," the ghost of Tara whispered.
