I came across this whilst looking for an image for White Avenger (notice I did not say THE! I am hip to that whole scene) anywhoo... it is a newpaper article from the New York Times stating that a particular movie was 'hypnotizing' some views causing them to commit suicide.
Very interesting though, as I have long stated it is just recently we have lost touch with reality and merged the two.. yet, in 1910, the first case of this was reported..
