MP3 tech question-HELP!

I don't know if anybody here would know this, but how would one go about taking a song off of a CD and making it into an MP3? I do some Buffy Angel Music Videos, and I wanted to convert a song from a CD I have, from a little known band into an MP3 so I can use it, but I don't know how 🙂 Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

a program called "Music Match Jukebox" i think its on download.com does that

but by doing so your making people (somone how) loose money and proving yourself an enemy of the free world (apparently)

Not really...i'm not putting the SONG up for download, I just need to make it into an MP3 so I can put it into my movie making software and make a kick butt music video. 🙂 No reusing for my own profit involved on any level. Just fun for me stuff 😉

I use "Musicmatch". as mentioned above, and recommend it. It's good for ripping tracks from CD to MP3 and also as a general music player.

If you're online it'll do stuff like get cd track listings for you and even album artwork (sometimes). I get on fine with it so it must be pretty easy to use. My geeky, techy friends use it as well so I think it's got something for everyone.
