I've just downloaded the new version of MSN, but he problem is its knocked out all my anti-virus software my dad's using McAfee (I have no choice in this). McAfee keeps saying that my files and internet aren't protected and its wont protect them. My dads gone crazy with me because I downloaded it, he normally say's i can't download anything but i did this thinking he wouldn't notice!!!! what should I do to fix it?
I was thinking I should delete the new version on msn and re-install the old 8.5 version, because I can't do without msn! Not now loads of people have mics!!! Lol.
If I do that should my anti-virus go back to normal or will I have to re-install that?

If there wasn't a problem with the old version of msn why just not go back to using that and uninstall the new version? Of course it's more fun to have the newest version but if that only causes trouble and the old one works it should at least be an option.
 
I use the old one too and haven't really had much trouble. I think some people couldn't hear eachother because they hadn't restarted MSN after adding the others to their list.
 
Your real problem is using McAfee, it's one of the worst anti-viruses there is.

Just do a system restore though to before you installed the latest WLM
 
Thanks for the replies, yeah i don't want to use McAfee but my dad insists *head desk* he's not good on the whole listening and stuff. I came home and he'd fixed it been on the phone to some McAfee people and they've sorted it. Now i'm banned from downloading anything..stupid man.

I say you intentionally download viruses to show him how bad McAfee is
