MSN Messenger vs. AIM

Ok, so I currently use both services and for the most part, most people I know have AIM, but for some reason my new computer doesn't want to run AIM and I've been using MSN a lot more lately.

Which do you use/prefer etc?

I use both, but I use MSN messenger more with my online friends, and I use AIM for my friends whom I see often. There, we usually use, "how r u? waz ^ home snizzle?" and in MSN I use correct grammar and spelling- most of the time. Also, when I want to use the webcam I use it on MSN.

I like AIM better, but MSN has a lot of perks AIM doesn't. I really don't know which one is better, though.

I use both, and i usually stay signed on both... i go through times tho when i like one more than the other, currently i like MSN better because i tend to actually talk to more ppl on there, when i'm on AIM i just put up an away message and ignore pretty much everyone that tries to talk to me.

I use MSN a lot.. have never tried AIM, thought about getting it but.. I didn't. MSN is fine for me (most of the time, when it's not.... eh, but that's a different story).

i only use aim because all my friends use it and i don't know anyone who uses any other messengers.

It depends whos on... Sometimes I use MSN more than AIM, and sometimes its the other way around 😛

I don't use IMs any more, but when I did I used to use Trillian. It allowed me to connect to both AIM and MSN, as well as ICQ. Also it allowed me to avoid all that interfering, resource hogging crap Microsoft and AOL put in their programs.

I think there's a new one called GAIM that's getting good reviews too.

I used to use both. I hardly knew anybody on AIM, so I deleted it and I just use MSN now.

I use AIM a lot. Everyone I know uses it, only a few people have MSN but NEVER go on it.

I suspect that people in UK use MSN a lot... :rolleyes0

I have both MSN and AIM. But I hardly use AIM cuz most of my friends don't have it. Plus I like MSN better. I just got the new version of it too. MSN Messanger BETA. Pretty niffty!😀 I do talk to people on AIM quite a bit too but not as much as MSN.😀

I use MSN most of the time but I also use AIM to talk to those who have only got that... I also use YIM. XD I think I may be IM obsessed. I prefer MSN though. Except right now.

LOL-I don't seem to have time for either anymore, but I haven't had an MSN sign-on in years! I'm an AIM girl all the way.

I mostly use MSN, but in addition use YIM and AIM for some contacts. I also have an ICQ account, but I don't use it anymore.

I only use msn. I don`t have anything else. My friends doesn`t have AIM so. It`s not very common in Sweden(where I`m from) with AIM. Don`t know why..
