Many, many songs are like that. For a month or two we had half the school ground (I was working) singing "Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir. Voulez vous coucher avec moi" from Lady Marmelade. Felt pretty weird.

OMG!!!! I already repped you before I saw Damien Rice and The Corrs in there, too! I love them so much! I've been a big Corrs fan since I was 12 years old and "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" came out. 😀

I am from America but find myself liking a LOT of international artists. I'm a big fan of Robbie Williams, Westlife, The Spice Girls, Oasis, The Corrs, Gary Barlow, U2... When I was in high school I also listened to a lot of B*Witched for those of you who remember them. LOL I've always said I should have moved to Europe a long time ago.

OK, this fascinates me! How did you find all these bands? I mean B*Witched? LMFAO!

It just blows my mind that our twee little Irish bands got noticed in America.

Yeah, I find it really weird that she's talking about Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams like they're two separate individuals. I could wrap my head around Robbie going back to Take That and now I can't imagine him as a single artist, even though he's one of them most successful single artists we've ever had!!

A lot of stuff from Northern Ireland is really old folk-sy, country-type stuff. It's weird, lol.

Is it any wonder I call myself a country girl? lmao

Oh, I SO did! Boy, that man HATED me! This is probably why I can't listen to his music and I forget about him. Traumatic flash backs, lol.

To be fair, though, I was a kid. Before they were Snow Patrol, they used to 'practice' in the community hall at the end of my street. We would stand outside and hurl abuse through the window, lol. I do remember them being truly awful, so I think we were justified!!
