Music you discovered thanks to BtVS

Anyone love the songs in Dollhouse? I've downloaded them all, they're so good. 🙂

Yeah, the music in Dollhouse is awesome. And really, really fitting. That Lissie song 'Everywhere I Go' (I think) is so intense.
 
I Loved So Many of the songs from the show, I brought all 3 of the CD's they released and Still listen to the ones not on the CD's on Youtube. Same as with songs from ATS.
 
I have Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Album. I listen to it quite a bit, but other than that and other songs featured on the show, I never really dig deeper. I did listen to Sarah McLachlan, Michelle Branch, Garbage, and Nerf Herder pre-Buffy though.
 
The only one I really fell in love with was Emiliana Torrini. The rest I already knew, or only ended up liking a few songs or just the song that was on BtVS.

I was all giddy when my favourite band Rilo Kiley was played on Buffy. And then played on Dollhouse!
 
A few songs really stick out to me that I love.
I'll remember you-Sophie Zelmani in the first season Angel episode.
sarah mclachlan full of grace like a lot of others. I love a lot of her music now.

The angel theme is great to, and the Chosen theme.
I always love music from shows because i can put them with a moment. Buffy had some great music throughout the years.
 
Michelle Branch mainly, I saw Four Star Mary live once, but I didn't think they were that good. Cast wise love James Marsters ( he is brilliant live), and some of Christian Kane songs

Michelle Branch was great. I agree about the cast voices.
Cibo Matto, Four Star Mary, Nerf Herder, K's Choice...

I loved most of the bands that played at The Bronze. Of course the 90s was big on the grunge, so that might explain why I love them so much, lol.

Yes, same here!!! I downloaded all the music from each ep & I was thinking of burning a CD for each ep & putting them in my own little Buffy CD case...wouldn't that be cool?! But for now, I just have a bunch of Buffy mixes.

I loved Chines Burn-Curve, and Spectator Pump-Sunday Mail, but I'm sure there were other songs that Faith listened to...
Like the one in Beauty and the Beasts, when she listen so hard to her music that she doesn't hear Buffy coming:laugh:
 
Sarah McLachlan, for one. Also, Charmingslayer made an Illyria fanvid using the song "Rebirthing" by Skillet. I fell in love with this video and the song (it was the first Skillet song I'd heard), and Skillet is now one of my favorite bands. Thanks, Charmingslayer! =]

Yes I do have a Faith mix somewhere with some shows from the show & some other songs that I thought fit her.
 
Yup, my fondest memory would have to be from "Tabula Rasa" in 2001. Michelle Branch playing "Goodbye To You" live in The Broze. I heard Michelle Branch before on the radio before this, but after that episode I started to really like her so much more. I loved all her songs from that point until 2004.

Also, the song from the S6 final was pretty soothing too, I think it's called "Prayer of St. Francis". Hearing Aimee Mann in the episode "Sleeper" got me addicted to that song "This is how it goes" lol.
