So I was wondering who out there likes musicals and/or theatrical productions?
What is your favourite and why?
Do you have a top 3?
Do you buy the soundtracks/dvds of the ones you like?
Have you been to a stage show up the West End or Broadway for example? If so what have you seen?

If you don't like them, then why not, what do you prefer?

What is your favourite and why? ... Thats a tough one...hmmm actually not really lol. My favourite is War of the Worlds because it is syfy and dramatic and powerful and shows different human reactions to the possibility of a take over.
Do you have a top 3? ... War of the Worlds, Moulin Rouge, The King and I.
Do you buy the soundtracks/dvds of the ones you like? ... Yes I do.
Have you been to a stage show up the West End or Broadway for example? If so what have you seen? ... The king and I, Rocky Horror, Avenue Q, and Aspects of Love.

Wicked, Chicago, Elf the Musical on Broadway and Addams Family at the West End.

Wicked and Avenue Q soundtracks. Plus a few compilations.

Wicked, The Lion King, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Avenue Q at West End. Elsewhere I've also seen Sister Act and Rocky Horror.

Well, for musicals you can't beat Jeff Waynes musical version of War of the Worlds
And I hate to admit this but I got it when it was released as a double album.
I bought the 2 x DVD of the Wembley Stadium performance of War of the Worlds.

I don't go to theatres anymore but I do like trying to write stage plays for village theatres
not city theatres (emphasis on the trying).
