The theme is one of my favorites. Dido is amazing.

Season 2 lost a LOT of viewers, which is funny because the viewers were complaining that there wasn't enough alien stuff in season 1. And then they went full alien in season 2. The Alex storyline did well to bring people back, but then when the show moved to UPN, it just didn't feel the same anymore. You're right that Liz became a shell of the character she was in season 1.

Little known fact: the storyline continued in novel form for 4 novels, and they did so terrible in sales that there were a limited number of copies made for the final book (series finale) and now that book is word HUNDREDS on eBay!

I have season 1 & 2 on VHS but I don't have a VHS player anymore.

I always had the hots for Max. So imagine my surprise when Jason appeared on Buffy. I literally yelled, "Oh my God, that's Max!" Such a hottie. And regarding Tess, I hated her so much that when Emilie appeared on Once Upon A Time, I was like, "Noooo! Not her!" 😄

@HowiMetdaSlayer Amazon had the Queen's Gambit in the kindle ebook 99p deals so I've got that now, not sure if I should read the book first then watch or watch before reading.

I'll probably watch a few films or documentaries over the next month.
 
Hudson and Rex

Detective Charlie Hudson is paired up with Rex, a German Shepherd police dog who seems to be the key to solving every case. Makes you wonder how much injustice is done when there is no dog to set everyone straight.

Ice Road Truckers

Ice roads exist across lakes and rivers but only in winter and the truckers risk their lives in autumn and spring when the ice is not strong enough to support a fully-loaded transport tractor-trailer.

I like Ice road truckers! And now I like Outback truckers too.
If you’ve never seen Inception, can’t recommend it enough. Creative and fun movie for sure

The matrix is another one that is a must watch. Only the first though. The rest are garbage, except animatrix.

I always pretend to have seen these, because otherwise people look at you like you're a crazy person.

I remember a friend looking at me in pure horror when I told them I hadn't seen Finding Nemo. Eventually got around to it and specifically reported back to my friend that I've now watched the film. Also haven't seen The Matrix.
