I missed it due to my computer issues over the last couple weeks, but on September 14, I celebrated 6 years of membership here on Buffy Boards. 🙂
This place is the one place I cannot say goodbye to. Even though my "obsession" with all things Buffyverse has faded a little bit over the years, I still consider this place my online home. I'm happy to spend time here with you all.

Wow, I just realized we joined almost at the same time, that's absolutely crazy! Can't believe it's been 6 years (although mind you I wasn't here for the entire time, good thing I came to my senses and came back!)

I also had my 6 year celebration earlier this summer. I only joined like 2 months before you guys.

This place is hard to leave, isn't it? 🙂
BB has become much more than a forum to discuss BtVS on (even if I still enjoy that part too).
Even if the obsession fades a bit, and the post frequency isn't what it used to be, it's still a lovely place with great atmosphere that you just want to visit regularly.

I totally agree. Even if we're not here to talk about Buffy, it's nice to be able to come chat with familiar "faces". 😉
 
Super craziness... time has that habit of just running away and before you know it, bam! Almost a decade has gone by 🙂

I'm very glad you're still around and that you still enjoy being around! 😀 Happy BB-versary!!

I would say that the forum has changed a lot. I've seen at least three software versions since joining, and been through a couple of massive overhauls of the staff and members. I was on staff here for a while and loved it, but just got burned out and needed to step down.
We go through bad spells and good spells, and the good thoroughly outweighs the bad.
 
Part of me wants to say "only six?". It's at least 2 years since I was last here on anything like a daily basis, and I know you always seemed "established" to me then!
 
I thought 'only six years.. I thought you were here as long as I was' then I realized I had only been here six years too.. so.. here's to old friggin age and senility.
