My Buffy Tattoo :D

So yesterday afternoon, I was in a novelty shop looking at Buffy stuff and thought, Today's as good as any to get my Buffy tattoo. So I quickly took a picture on my phone of the exact "B" I wanted, and voila!

Keep in mind that this was taken yesterday, so it's all gross.

I wish I could get that B tattood, but I don't want to seem TOO fancrazed. Ifmy name started with a B it would be alright....
 
Thanks everybody. 🙂 I almost got it all black, but I'm really glad I went with the dark red and the shading.

Heh, I know I'm officially a complete nerd now. No hiding it anymore. But that's okay. :tongue:

I LOVE it! My name DOES start with a "B" but I've avoided getting a tat like yours for just that reason.....didn't want to seem TOO fan crazed and obsessed. Then again....only other Buffy fans would get it, anyway....and they'd totally GET it.....hmmmmmm.

Hah, yeah, people keep asking me what it's for. Including the tattoo artist. And I just look at them like they're crazy....doesn't everybody know the Buffy "B"? :tongue:

I'm not too worried about being looked at as a crazy fan because, well, I am one. Obviously. 🙂

I know that feeling! While I was on holiday I noticed that a cocktail bar called "Babylon" was using the Buffy font on their signs. Of course, I immediately started laughing and pointed at it, asking my sister, "Where have you seen that before?"

She didn't have a clue.

I was not impressed.
 
I think it looks fantastic! I'm looking at getting a Buffy tattoo sometime in the future, and that's made ME feel slightly less crazedfangirl if other normal people are getting Buffy tats!

I do, but that's not why I got the tattoo. I mean, I doubt it, but there may come a day where I don't love Buffy as much. However, I got the tattoo because of what Buffy did for me. During a really rough point in my life, BtVS was one of the only things that made me feel better. It helped me loads, and to me, my tattoo represents overcoming huge obstacles to get where I am now. It means that I can fight my own demons, too. 🙂
 
Well I'm looking at getting an old school pin up girl style Buffy. So to me, it's representing two different parts of being female. This strong, Buffy, warrior side, but also this feminine poster girl side.
 
It's beautiful! I love the colors you chose. It fits well! I myself always shy away from getting a tattoo that is tv,movie,or band related. Simply because..40 years from now I might regret it. I only have one tattoo because of this. I am far too picky! I do give you props on your guts for going through with it! =]
