My daughter just put Netflix on my computer for me

Im not a huge fan of stranger things, but I watched it cos everyone else was. Much like Game of Thrones. A bit out of my horror/gore comfort zone. Also not a fan of the 80's.

I just watched The Perfect Neighbour today, which was an interesting way of doing a doco that I have not seen before. Sad story and glad I have good neighbours.

Have you seen Ghosts @ILLYRIAN ? That might be up your ally too, although maybe too millennial.

Which program was that one? There was one about a couple who got a big with eight or so ghosts, the scout master was one. I thought it was crap

I'm the opposite! I love anything set in the 80s. The fashion and music is rad.
I 🧡 Stanger Things. Netflix does have some great documentaries (films & series) too!

Other good things on Netflix...

"Troy, Fall of a City" drama about the Trojan War.

"Watership Down" 4 episode series based on the book.

"Fear Street ####". Three (+1) horror series of movies.

Squid Game has been very popular, and I liked it a lot. But it is extremely violent. Also, it's Korean with subtitles, so you have to not mind that!

There's a lot of hype about all the good shows on Netflix, I now need someone to tell me where the good shows on Netflix are.

I have Netflix and can't stand to watch any of them.

There are quite a few good Korean shows.

Netflix picked up Lucifer at seasons 4-6, so that sort of counts. Loved it.

I definitely used Netflix to marathon Supernatural. I spent a month doing nothing else but watching seasons 1-14 right before season 15 started. I was averaging about half a season per day.

I still haven't completed Stranger Things season 4 and the upcoming season 5 (mostly because of the pace at which it releases). I still need to watch Wednesday season 2, too. Didn't watch The Sandman season 2 either.

H2O: Just Add Water is a fun find if you want to watch the rare piece of mermaid media, even if it's an old Australian child/teen show.

Stanger Things? I've never heard of that show. Is it a Stranger Things spin-off?

Asking for a friend.
Yeah it's spin off where the shows writers make stuff out of just typos. 🤔🫢

Oh well that explains why all those shows are junk. They're all make from rejected pieces/parts of other shows!
Is it just me or are filmmakers really bad at making the baddies be unlikeable character,
another thing I am becoming to be aware of (do you agree with me) that folk with coloured skin are often/ usually the bad guys.

What else are you liking on Netflix lately? I havent found anything real fun since I finished the genie show haha. Its all a bit bland.
It happens, there's just dull patches - you're scrolling through and nothing catches your eye.

Im still mad they cancelled The OA cos there is just nothing else like it!

I thought about doing a Dark rewatch in the summer if its still up.

Streamers seem to divide programmes into two types. Runaway enormous successes and cancelled. Merely regular success just does not seem to cut it.

Yeah they want an immediate mass hit, not cult hits.

The stuff I like most on netflix now, is stuff that wasnt made by netflix, just hosted by them for now. Eventually it all ends up on free to air anyway.

I am sorry November but my brain does not process certain types of info very well, so OA does not get developed into what it means. It might be easier for you to write OA, but OA means nothing to me so can you please write what OA is. I dare say there are other members who do not know what OA means.
You think I write quirky stuff time to time, try to imagine what makes sense to my brain!

The OA is literally the title. OOOOOOOOO AAAAAAAAA. OA, thats it - "The OA" is the title of the show. An O and an A after the The. Clear as mud?
