My Fanfic- Season 6, the lost story

PART FIFTEEN

In every room Buffy entered there was at least one of the "˜extracting' machines. She and Laura weren't having the best luck finding Faith, but she knew if this place had something to do with Kakistos, it'd involve Faith too.
"I heard you live in Sunnydale, what are you doing here?" asked Laura inquisitively.
"Yeah, I do. I was here hunting a vampire, and now I'm trying to find Faith. Trust me I don't want to be here, something's going down in Sunnydale, I know it." Buffy replied as she looked around the room.
"Yeah definitely, with it being the hell mouth and all" said Laura.
Buffy couldn't believe how much this girl knew, she also wondered how many other girls around the world were potential slayers and knew about her calling.
The girls kept walking; they'd now reached a corridor, leading to one room right at the end.
"Okay Buffy, there is nothing here. I don't think were gonna find your friend here," said Laura, "let's just go."
"Hold up!" yelled Buffy. "Down there," Buffy pointed to the floor, there was a manhole, with the lid half lifted off, "come on."

******

"It smells funky in here," said Laura.
"Mmm, sewage, rats and dirty water, you're gonna get funky smells."
Buffy smiled at the new girl, if she was ever to become the slayer, she'd have a hard time.
The women came to a big room in the sewer; it looked like the control room.
"You look over there, I'll look on this side," ordered Buffy, making her way to the left side of the room.
Buffy couldn't find anything. She was starting to worry about Faith. Even though Faith was a Slayer and they weren't particularly friends, she had begun to believe Faith had truly reformed and she really didn't want to see her dead.
"Hey Buffy, look over there, is that your friend?" yelled Laura, pointing towards a still body.
Both the women ran over.
"Faith!" yelled Buffy. Buffy put her fingers onto Faiths neck to check for a pulse.
"She's alive, but we need to get her out of here."
"The Slayer's not going anywhere!" Buffy heard from behind.
Looking around, she saw the figure of a big man, wearing a robe. As he entered the light she recognized him.
"Kakistos!" yelled Buffy. Her worries had become reality, Kakistos was back.
"How'd you get back?"
Faith began to regain consciousness; she looked over to Kakistos, and then looked at Buffy.
"Buffy watch out, he's strong."
"I know." replied Buffy. "˜Look, you're going to be ok." Buffy told Faith, "Can you look after her," she asked, looking at Laura.
"Yeah, kick his ass" said Laura.
"I am going to eat her flesh and suck out all of her hearts blood!" yelled Kakistos, looking straight at Faith.
He was standing like a bull, ready to charge. Suddenly, an arrow landed right in Kakistos's chest, it didn't penetrate, but it got his attention.
"You shouldn't leave a crossbow lying around like around like that, someone could lose an eye!" yelled Buffy. "And also, if you want her, you're gonna have to go through me."
Kakistos stood and laughed at Buffy, "I'll kill all of you!" he yelled. Buffy didn't seem to be scaring Kakistos, which surprised her after what had happened last time.
Buffy ran straight for him, and fly kicked him, knocking him back a little, but knocking herself further as she rebounded off him.
Kakitos began to laugh again.
"You're awfully quirky," she said as she punch him in the face "how much you gonna laugh when you're dust?"
The rain outside was still strong, Buffy could hear it from underground. The three drains on the right hand side of the room were clogged, but they looked like they were about to give.
About to throw a punch, Kakistos dodged Buffy, making her lose balance. He then picked her up and grabbed her around the head, as if he was ready to break her neck. Having to think quickly, Buffy elbowed him in the crouch, making him lose grip.
A mass amount of water began to rush at them, the drains had unclogged. Soon, they were standing in water up to their thighs.
Kakistos had taken hold of Buffy and was trying to drown her underwater. While being smothered, she raised her legs to his stomach and pushed as hard as she could, which made Kakistos go flying back into the wall.
Buffy sprung up and ran for him, looking straight at the arrow still embedded in his chest. In one awesome blow Buffy thrusted into his heart.
"You er come back again, I'll kill you"¦ again" she said as he fell into a pile of dust, which floated on the water.
Buffy turned around and on the top of the stairs she could see Laura supporting Faith to stand up. "Let's get out of here." said Buffy, as she walked up the stairs.

PART SIXTEEN

Buffy led the way into the Hyperion hotel. Looking around, she saw a very familiar man sitting down to a cup of tea with Wesley.
"Giles!" she yelled, as she pulled her hair long hair out of her face.
Rupert Giles was Buffy Summers' watcher, although they had developed a father-daughter relationship over the years.
Giles stood up and stared in disbelief, she was really alive. He hadn't seen Buffy since before she'd died and he'd missed her terribly. Recently he'd gone back to his home in England, but when he heard of her being alive, he'd headed straight back to California.
Giles walked over to hug her, "Buffy, it's so good to see you, I missed you so much" he told her, while a tear came to his eye.
"Thanks," she said as she stared into his eyes, she'd missed him too.
They basked in the moment for a while and then she finally asked "What are you doing here?"
"I heard you were here, Dawn told me you were alive and she directed me here." he told her.
"Do they know anything yet, about why I'm back?" she asked, Buffy was very curious to the reason she'd been brought back; she didn't completely believe that a "˜higher power' had stepped in like Willow had said.
"Not as yet Buffy, but don't worry, we'll find out." Giles said as he smiled at her reassuringly.
"Faith, good to have you back." said Angel as he smiled uncomfortably at her.
"Yeah "˜A man', like wise." she said with a wink.
Laura stood behind Buffy quietly.
"Hey," said Gunn loudly, "who's this?" he asked as he checked out Laura, she just smiled back, pleased to have been noticed.
"Oh sorry I forgot, this is Laura, she's a potential slayer, I found her at the place I found Faith." said Buffy, looking at Giles for some sort of explanation.
"A potential slayer, really?" asked Giles.
"Yeah, I've known for about a year now, my watcher explained it all to me." Laura answered.
"I'm Rupert Giles, Buffy's watcher." Said Giles as he put forward his hand and shook hers. "Who's your watcher?" he asked.
"Frank Hindle, do you know him?" asked Laura.
"No I can't say I do, where are you from?" Giles asked.
Just as Laura was about to reply, Buffy intervened.
"How about we get back on track here guys, we can talk later." she said, breaking up the conversation.
"So Faith, why'd you run away?" asked Cordelia half joking, but also curious about what had happened.
"I don't know if I'd call it that, she was captured by KAKISTOS." said Buffy, looking at Giles and Wesley for an explanation.
"Didn't you kill Kakistos 3 years ago in Sunnydale Faith?" asked Wesley, puzzled by what he had heard.
"Yeah, I did, that's why she emphasized his name so much when she told you," said Faith, "try to keep up Wes."
Wesley looked to the ground, he didn't like what Faith had just said at all, not matter how true it was. Fred gave Faith a dirty look, until Faith noticed and then she smiled.
"It's a vampire back from the dead. It's not the first time it's happened right? I mean look at you Angel and then Darla; it can be done by magic." Cordelia pointed out.
"Yes, it seems like that doesn't it?" Giles said, as he clean his glasses. He was intrigued by the whole topic.
"Yeah and you said you staked some of his groupies when you first got to the factory right? Maybe they did it?" Faith said.
"Darla's alive?" asked Buffy, having totally ignored everything else she'd heard.
Buffy knew Darla and Angel were old lovers. They killed half of Europe's population as a vampire couple for over a hundred years. Later when Angel had gotten a soul (the first time), Buffy watched Angel kill Darla when she'd only recently moved to Sunnydale several years ago.
"Yeah, but lets not get off topic." said Angel, avoiding the question.
Buffy rolled her eyes. It was obvious Angel didn't want her to know something, but at this time she didn't particularly have time to care. She and Angel were ancient history now and she knew it'd never work out between them, so did he, being the reason he left her. Besides, all she really wanted to do was get back home to her loved ones.

"Well I guess that's it, Angelus is gone, Faith is ok and Kakistos is dead, we'd probably better be going, there's gotta be some evil at home in need of some ass kicking," Buffy said as she smiled to everyone and put her hair back in a ponytail. "Bye guys."
"Bye Buffy, thanks so much for everything," said Cordy with a smile, Buffy smiled back and leant forward for a hug. She was happy she'd come back to see how much Cordelia had changed, she'd become a totally new person.
One by one, the Sunnydale group said their goodbyes to everybody, and finally left the Hyperion Hotel, bound for Sunnydale.

******

"God Spike, did you have to run so fast?" panted Tara, bent over triying to catch her breath. Back in Sunnydale, the evil wasn't getting any easier to fight, and without a slayer and one of the witches, the rest of the scoobies were having a hard time dealing with it.
Tara, Spike and Xander were out on patrol, while Anya took care of Dawn at the Summer's home.
"If you two hadn't slowed me down I would have staked the bugger before he got to the gates!" yelled Spike.
"Shut up Spike!" answered Xander, obviously having nothing else to argue.
"Yeah, good argument you got there Charlie boy." Spike retorted.
"If Buffy was here we wouldn't have to be," groaned Xander, "I don't have the strength NOR speed to do her job!"
"I wor when they'll be home, and I wonder if they took care of Angel." said Tara, she herself had never met Angel, but she was told about him by Willow.
"Ok, how about you kids head home, I'll do a quick sweep myself." said Spike, hoping they'd leave. He didn't like anyone cramping his style out on patrol, except for Buffy that is.
"Here, here!" agreed Xander, who still hadn't caught his breath yet, then he and Tara headed home.

PART SEVENTEEN

On the other side of town, something was happening. Almost every vampire in town had come together at one point. Tonight was the opening.

******

It was late morning in the Summer's house; Tara and Dawn had just woken up. It had been a long week for them both without Buffy or Willow and they were both exhausted.
Tara was downstairs making pancakes for Dawn and herself while Dawn was still upstairs getting dressed.
"Honey, funny shapes or rounds?!" Tara yelled so Dawn could hear.
"I don't mind, funny shapes are fine!" Dawn yelled back.
Tara smiled sweetly, as she added mixture to the pan in a funny looking shape.
As Dawn walked in and sat down she asked "Have you heard from Willow yet? She said they'd be back today."
"I haven't as yet, but don't worry honey, they'll be home soon." replied Tara.
Sometimes Tara felt like more of a sister to Dawn than Buffy did.
"I was thinking, did you want to go to the mall today, I want to get a sweater and I've only seen it there."
"Dawnie, we'll go I promise, but I don't know if we can go today, Buffy, Willow and Giles could be back soon, but we'll try ok." replied Tara.

The women heard the front door open, and they heard voices.
"Dawn!" yelled Buffy.
"Buffy's home, Buffy you're back!" yelled Dawn.
Buffy, Giles and Willow made their way into the kitchen.
The sisters shared a long hug.
"Hey sweetie, was everything ok?" asked Tara as she leant forward and kissed Willow.
"It's all fixed, but I missed you." said Willow with a sweet smile.
"Hi Mr. Giles, I see you found them ok," said Tara sweetly as she flipped a pancake.
Dawn went over and hugged Giles. As he had for Buffy, Giles had become a father figure for Dawn too, especially since their mother passed away.

******

The clock had just struck 8.30pm. It was a quiet night in Sunnydale. Buffy had gone out on patrol.
As she walked to Spikes crypt, he could feel her coming. She stood for moment, physically exhausted from her week. As she began to move again, she reached out for the door.
"Spike, are you here?" she asked as she walked in.
Spike turned his head from the chair he was seated in.
"Slayer, you're back? How'd it go with Angel, please tell me you killed him." said Spike, as he went to the fridge for some blood.
"I didn't kill him. I came pretty close though, but then, so did he." As she said this, she showed Spike the wound on her neck.
"That bastard, if you want him dead, I'll kill the nansy pansy!" said Spike, he was half joking, but he did love Buffy.
"No, don't kill him. He's better now. It was hard though, seeing him again." She commented as she stared into nothing, dazed.
Spike didn't like hearing this; he wanted Buffy for himself, even if she'd never love him back. He just rolled his eyes.
"So what did you want anyway?" he asked abruptly.
"Nothing I guess. What's been happening in Sunnydale?" Buffy asked Spike.
"Nothing at all, the evil's been pretty much quiet, only a few vamps." He answered.
Suddenly, from outside, they heard screaming.
"I guess they waited for me to get back," said Buffy as she picked up her stake and headed for the door, Spike followed.
About 20 feet away, Buffy could see a vampire tackling a girl to the floor.
"Hey! Pick on someone my own size!" she yelled as she kicked the female vampire in the back of the leg, tripping her over.
"Oh darn, you're back! This one is for the factory! Just one!" she yelled at Buffy, snarling. Her yellow eyes glowed in the moonlight
"What do you mean the factory?!" yelled Buffy angrily, as she slammed the vamps head into a tombstone.
"I'm not telling you anything!" yelled the vampire.
Buffy looked down to her stake, she didn't want to kill the vampire yet.
"What are you gonna do? Kill me?" asked the vampire, laughing.
"I'm gonna give you one more chance, what's this factory?" she asked again.
"Bite me," replied the female vamp.
Buffy looked to her stake again, quickly, she thrusted it right into the vampires thigh, making contact with the bone. Buffy then began to twist the stake.
The vampire screamed in pain, Spike watched, shocked to see Buffy was torturing her.
"Start talking!" yelled Buffy.
"Okay, okay! It's down on Adele Street! They'll kill me for this!" yelled the vampire, with tears in her eyes.
"There isn't a factory on Adele Street! You're lying to me!" yelled Buffy.
The vampire quickly took the stake from Buffy's hand and jabbed it into her own heart.
"Good luck!" she said sarcastically as she fell to a pile of dust.

******

The scoobies were seated in Buffy's lounge room for an emergency meeting. Buffy had told them everything she knew about the factory.
"Look guys we need to head in, it's the only way we are going to stop it." Buffy told the scoobies, trying to make a plan.
"Buffy, we know that, but don't you think we should go tomorrow night, when we are more prepared?" asked Willow. She did have a point; she and Buffy hadn't slept for days.
"We have to go now, they are picking people off the street, people are going to die!" yelled Buffy.
"People always die here Buffy, but we aren't going to be able to save anyone if we go in over our heads," Xander explained.
"Buffy he's right." said Dawn.
"Giles what do you think?" asked Buffy.
"As much as we need to stop this, we cannot go in tonight." he replied, âit's too risky, we don't know anything about this place."
Buffy looked at all of her friends, in shock of what she was hearing, they had always followed her and she'd always got them through everything.
"I'm going in tonight." said Buffy. She walked over to her weapons chest, picked up the biggest sword she had, got her coat and walked out the door, slamming it behind her.

PART EIGHTEEN

Buffy headed up the street quickly, she was furious with the decision her friends had made not to join her after everything she'd done for them.
"Buffy! You can't go in alone." yelled Spike from behind her. "I'm coming with you."
She turned around and rolled her eyes.
"I'm going to look Spike, I'm not gonna do anything stupid ok, I can't beat them on my own, I know that." She replied.
"I'm coming is all." said Spike.
Buffy and Spike walked up the main street, silently. Buffy had a grave facial expression.
"What's the matter slayer?" asked Spike.
"Spike you have no idea how hard this is!" she yelled.
"What is?" he asked, "Slayer we are gonna get through this, we always do!"
"Not this Spike, not the factory. Just being here! Spike this is hell!" she yelled, she could feel tears of both sorrow and anger ready to come out, but she didn't want to break down in front of Spike.
"Slayer I've been to hell, this isn't hell." said Spike, trying to make her feel better, which didn't work.
"It is Spike, it is for me. I was in heaven, I was finished and I was finally happy! I was torn out by some higher power. I don't want to be here, in this hell!" she yelled, her tears began to come, rolling down her cheeks.
Spike had nothing to say, he stayed silent. He knew that whatever he could say would only make matters worse.

*****
"Listen," said Faith, "when we get there, you have to stick by me. This place is the hell mouth." Faith was dead serious; Laura hadn't seen her like this before.
"I know Faith, we aren't exactly going for a visit though, I'm going to fight." replied Laura.
"Look, I get that you want to be a part of the action and all, but this is big. You could die, I could die." said Faith. She was sitting on a train with Laura, the potential slayer Buffy had found in Los Angeles and they were heading for Sunnydale.
"When are we going to get there?" asked Laura impatiently.
"It's still another hour or so." said Faith.
"I'm going to the snack machine, you want anything?" asked Laura as she stood up.
"No, go get something for yourself." replied Faith.
As Laura got up and walked into the next carriage to the machine, Faith looked out the window, dazed. It had been 8 days since she'd broken out of her jail cell; she wandered when the police were going to catch up with her.

*****

"Buffy, this is Adele street, where's the factory?" asked Spike. They'd walked up and down the street over 3 times, looking for a factory.
"Is there anything we missed? It's gotta be here." said Buffy as she looked around.
"Like that shiny green light!" yelled Spike as he pointed behind Buffy.
It looked like a portal, through all the light, Buffy could see a building. The portal began to make a screeching noise.
"Spike, I'm going in!" yelled Buffy as she ran for the portal and got ready to jump.
"And I'm going with you!" he yelled as he ran after her, recklessly.
With one big jump and Buffy and Spike had passed through the portal. After falling for a second, Buffy landed on top of Spike on a concrete floor.
"Ow." Spike moaned.
"Get up, come on." Buffy said to him.
"Uh, Slayer, you're on top of me." He said back to her, with a suggestive tone in his voice and a naughty smile on his face.
Buffy just rolled her eyes and got up.
"I think we've found the sodding factory," said Spike, rubbing the back of his head, which he'd hurt in the fall through dimensions.
"Looks like it." She said back to him as she looked around the room.
"Good, let's go home now." Spike said.
"Wait! I know this place, I found a place the same in L.A." said Buffy.
"Buffy it's a bleeding factory, there's plenty in Los Angeles." retorted Spike.
"You're right, it is a BLEEDING factory." she said. In the next room she could see about 30 people in a cage, and 10 vampires standing guard of them, each one holding a tazer blaster.
On the machine's conveyer belt was an old body, in which the blood had been drained. Buffy was disgusted and horrified to think that vampires could go that low, even though she didn't really know them to be self respecting creatures.
"Oh, that's bloody stupid then innit? They aren't even killing "˜em anymore they're just getting machines to do it? The kill is the bloody fun part!" Spike said angrily, and then turned to look at Buffy who had a disgusted look on her face.
"You're a pig Spike."
Buffy took her sword out from inside her jacket and got ready to kick open the door.
"Slayer wait, you'll never save the people if we go in just two of us, and I don't really want to die tonight. We need the witch at least!" Spike yelled, stopping her foot from hitting the door.
He had a point, Buffy knew it. "Okay, we'll go and get them, but if they don't come back, I'm going in - with or without you." She was serious.

******

"Welcome to Sunnydale Laura, now stick close, this place is a murder a minute." warned Faith.
Laura rolled her eyes, "Yeah ok, I get it, it's a bad neighbourhood. Where does Buffy live?"
"About a 20 minute walk from here." answered Faith.
Faith and Laura stepped off and looked around. Faith lit a cigarette.
"Okay, I got some stuff you probably need to know before we go to the house." said Faith as they began to walk up the street.
"Firstly, Buffy and me haven't always been buds, a few years ago, before I went to jail I tried to kill her and she ended up on top, but things have changed now, I've reformed."
Laura had a worried look on her face, she had just realised she was with a super strong, murdering prison bird.
"Okay," she said, "what else?"
"Xander, you haven't met him yet, I was his first." she said with a smirk.
"His first what?" asked Laura.
Faith just lifted an eyebrow and gave Laura a funny look.
"Ohhh, that. Yeah so what?" asked Laura.
"His girlfriend Anya, she doesn't like me." said Faith. "Try to avoid her, she's an ex demon and she's really hard to talk to."
Laura kept hearing weirder and weirder things, but she kept listening.
"Oh and Buffy's annoying little sister Dawn, I'm teu if I still killed people." Faith stopped, "she's really annoying."
Laura chuckled, "Anything else?" she asked.
"Just one more thing: Willow, the one you met, she's a lesbian."
"Really?" asked Laura.
"Yeah, her girlfriend Tara lives with them too. I've met her once." said Faith.
"So now I'm pretty much up to speed with everything?" asked Laura, a little puzzled trying to take in all the information she'd just heard.
"Yeah, that's all I can think of." said Faith.

So, what do you guys think of my story so far? Comments are very appreciated...

PART NINETEEN

"Maybe we should have gone with Buffy, it's late and she's not back. What if she's hurt!" cried Dawn, she was all flustered and worried.
"I know! We should have! We're bad friends!" yelled Willow, standing up and feeling guilty. "Lets go now, we need to save her!" she said.
"I'm coming too!" said Xander as he stood up and went to get a stake.
Soon, everyone was standing up, loading themselves up with weapons.
"I just hope we aren't too late." Giles remarked.
"Buffy's probably dead, it's a little late to feel bad now." said Anya bluntly. She didn't much care what others thought, she always had a way of just stating her point straight out.
Everybody just turned to her with dirty looks, they knew she could be right, but they'd never admit to it.
Willow led to the door and opened it, standing right in the doorway were Faith and Laura.
"Hey Will, what's crackin'?" asked Faith as she put out her cigarette in one of Buffy's pot plants.
She looked at everybody's weapons, and then she looked at Dawn giving her a dirty look.
"Geez, what's up?"
"It's Buffy, she went out to fight vampires alone, we need to go I'll explain on the way!" Willow said frantically, shoving passed Faith a little.
"Oh god I guess we're late then?" asked Laura, looking to Faith.
Faith and Laura followed as Willow led up the street.
"Hey Willow!" Faith called out from behind. "We are gonna quickly head back for weapons! We'll catch up!"
Willow didn't reply.
"Willow, what is Faith doing here? She should be in jail!" asked Dawn angrily, trying to keep up.
"She's okay now Dawn. She helped us save Angel and she saved your sister in L.A."
Dawn wasn't sure if she should believe it. She still remembered the time Faith held her and her mother hostage a few years ago.
"She better be."

******

"Dawn! Willow!" yelled Buffy as she entered her house, followed by Spike. The door had been left open.
"B, it's just us," Faith said from the living room.
"Faith, what are you doing here?" asked Buffy, confused by what she saw, "Where is everyone?"
"I had a vision Buffy, well kinda a nightmare but"¦ Look, I don't know if it means anything, but there was a factory, and Willow and Xander were vampires. There was this big daddy vampire too, "˜the mister?" asked Faith, a bit muddled.
"The Master." said Buffy. A look of worry came to her face. "He's back, it's true."
"You knew?" asked Faith, feeling unimportant.
"I had the same dream. Thanks for coming. We're gonna need you. Where's everyone else?" asked Buffy.
"They've gone to help you, they think you're still at the factory." said Faith.
Buffy worried, she knew they'd be no match for the Master.
"Then we better get going." she ordered as she headed for the door.

******

"Okay, this is the right place, so where's the factory?" asked Dawn as she looked up and down the street, noticing nothing but houses.
"Anyone want to say I told you so, I knew there was no factory here." replied Xander, "Damn it we don't even know where Buffy is!"
"Shut up, I can feel something!" ordered Willow. Everybody silenced.
She closed her eyes and she began to shake slightly. She raised her right arm out straight, and then waved it in a circular motion. A portal began to open. Everybody watched, amazed.
"This is it! Come on!" she yelled. The noise it made was deafening.
"Willow! A whole world of no! We don't even know where that's gonna take us!" yelled Xander.
"Xander! It's Buffy! I'm not gonna lose her again." Willow yelled back.
Xander stopped and thought. He didn't want anything to happen to his friend. For once, he thought, I'll be brave.
"Ok, but you first!" Xander yelled.
One by one, the scoobies jumped into the portal.

******

When the screeching and whirling stopped, everybody fell straight onto the hard floor.
"Where are we?" asked Dawn, as she stood up and looked around.
Everybody else got to their feet.
"I think we're in hell," said Anya, looking around at all the machines.
"No," said Tara, "I think this is the factory Buffy mentioned."
Suddenly, came another voice: "Look, it's the white hat, and he brought some people." Everybody recognized the sinister but familiar voice coming from the doorway.
As they all turned around, there was a woman they all knew very well. But this woman was wearing all leather.
"Hey that's me!" yelled Willow.
"Sweetie, what's going on?" asked Tara, confused.
The woman looked back at them and stepped forward, so that her face was in the light; it was Willow's vampire doppelganger.
"Hey, you're me," she said, tilting her head with a puzzled look on her face, "what did you do to me?"
Giles, Willow, Xander and Anya had all met this woman a few years ago, or they thought they had. The vampire version of Willow was created a few years ago to fit the dimension which Cordelia Chase created when she wished Buffy had never come to Sunnydale. This resulted in the town being overrun by vampires, of which Willow was one. But, the vampire Willow they met had been staked in her alternate reality by Oz. In this dimension, Buffy Summers still hadn't come to Sunnydale and the vampires still ran the town.
"Don't you remember?" asked Willow.
The vampire embodiment of herself just looked back and smirked, she didn't really understand anything Willow was talking about, but she was still excited by the idea of another Willow. "No, I don't remember."
She raised her hands and clapped them. Suddenly, over ten more vampires entered the room.
"Oh god," said Xander, "we're dead!"
Vampire Willow looked at Xander, licking her lips rather sexually. Xander looked straight back at her, "ew," he said bluntly.
The vampire stepped forward, staring at the real Willow, and then she moved even closer, and began to sniff her hair.
"Get off of me!" Willow yelled with a disgusted look on her face.
"You're no fun," the vampire said, putting her head down, "we could have had so much fun." The vampire looked up, and smirked. "Kill them!" she yelled, signaling all the other vampires in the room to attack.
In a few seconds, the scoobies were circled. The vampires around them snarled, with glowing yellow eyes.
Giles raised his axe, "Are we ready?" he asked, nervously. He knew they'd have to at least fight a little before they could escape.
A vampire ran at him, and he kicked it in the mid section, knocking it back. Then, while it was off guard, he swung his axe across its neck, decapitating and dusting it.
"Good show Giles," he said proudly, just before another vamp threw him to the floor from behind.
"Anya, get him now, in the heart!" yelled Xander. He was holding back a vampire while Anya was ready to stake it. She did, and as it turned to dust, she fell into his arms, where they shared a quick embrace. They were then both knocked over by another two vampires.
Dawn was struggling with a female vampire, it closed in on her neck, but then Giles put a stake through its heart from the back. She panted, trying to catch her breath, "Thanks, that was close."
More and more vampires were flooding the room.
"Giles, we need to get out!" yelled Xander, waiting to hear a plan.
Willow looked at Tara, and they clutched hands. All the vampires in front of the exit flew to either side, and were held back by some sort of barrier. Willow's eyes turned black, she began to struggle.
"Quickly," said Tara, signaling the scoobies to leave, "We can't hold it!"
The scoobies ran through the door and onto the street and hid.
"We need to save Buffy." said Dawn bluntly, still catching her breath.
"There were too many, we need a better plan," replied Xander, "next time they'll kill us!"

"Buffy's dead, I'm the slayer." In front of them stood Laura, but not the Laura they all knew.
Every one of the scoobies mouths dropped.
"Oh no, we were too late." said Xander sadly.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light in the middle of the empty street. Then there was a loud screeching. Soon enough, a portal opened and out of it fell: Buffy, Spike, Faith and Laura.
"Buffy!" yelled Willow, "You're ok!"
"Yeah," she said as she chuckled a little, "you too."
The four of them got up to there feet.
"Hey, what the hell?" asked the Laura who'd just come out of the portal. "What is going on?" She was looking straight at the slightly badder looking version of herself.
"I think we have a pretty good idea," Willow started, "she belongs in this dimension, she's already an activated slayer which means that Buffy: you must be dead."
Buffy rolled her eyes, "as usual," she said sarcastically, "continue Willow."
Willow smiled and then got back to what she was saying, "There's an opening here, something has created it."
"What do you mean an opening?" asked Xander.
"I see what you're saying Willow, continue." Giles told her, catching on. He was intrigued by how smart Willow had gotten, even with her magicks.
"Well, I mean a tear, there's been a tear in the blanket between this dimension and ours, so the undead have been escaping into our dimension, and that's why we can come here, that's why my doppelganger was here and that's probably why you were attacked by Kakistos." Willow explained.
"So you mean you think he came from this dimension then? So it wasn't really the same Kakistos?" asked Faith, a little puzzled.
"It was, but it wasn't. The one in our dimension was killed by you years ago, that ofrom here. It was still Kakistos in theory."
Willow got puzzled looks from everybody, except Giles of course.
"Okay, so what do we do about the vampires then?" asked Dawn.
"We're gonna kill them, we're gonna kill them all." answered Buffy, as she lead to the factory.
Faith looked to the Laura from this dimension.
"Is she always like this?" asked Laura.
"Yeah, pretty much." answered Faith as she took off ahead.
"Buffy, is this going to work? I mean how do you know we'll win? There were so many in there." said Willow from behind.
Buffy didn't reply. It was obvious she'd had enough and she wanted it all to be over.
As they came to the door, she turned around to her friends.
"Are you all ready?" she asked, before kicking it down.

PART TWENTY

Buffy walked into the first room, which was now empty. The scoobies followed behind her, holding their weapons readily.
They all advanced to the next door.
Buffy raised her leg, and slammed it into the door, kicking it off its hinges. Ahead of her was a big machine, with somebody tied to one of the trays about to have the blood sucked out of them.
"Xander, Faith, get the girl off the machine!" ordered Buffy.
"Sir!" replied Faith as she ran over to stop the machine.
She began to press a few buttons, but none seemed to work, she was getting frustrated...
"Oh screw this," she said. Faith raised her axe and brought it down right into the machines computer. The machine sparked and began to make a loud screeching noise, but it then came to a complete stop. Faith just smiled while Xander untied the hostage.
"Giles, Laura, go make sure no vampire gets to those people in the cage." ordered Buffy as she pointed towards the cage in the corner of the room, filled with people.
"Which Laura?" asked the potential.
"Not you, you're with us, Laura the slayer, go now!" yelled Buffy.
Buffy led the rest of the scoobies to the pack of vampires across from them, all snarling and yelling out things.
Faith and Xander joined the gang again.
"On three," said Buffy, "One"¦ Two"¦"
Faith ran ahead, and everyone else but Buffy followed, suddenly a war broke out.
"Some things never change." Buffy said as she raised her sword and ran into the pack.
Straight away, Buffy swung her sword, decapitating three vampires with one blow. She was planning to take out all that built up anger on this fight.
"Come on basset!" Over the other side of the battle, Spike was beating up the vampires attacking, and Dawn and Anya were staking them when they were practically pulp.
Xander was on his toes, trying not to get hit by anybody, staking a vampire every now and then.
The fight was going well; the scoobies had dusted at least 10 vampires, only a few were left. Suddenly, the back door opened, in walked vampire Willow, followed by two other familiar characters: vampire Xander and the Master.
The Master slipped through the fight, heading for Buffy.
Buffy quickly dusted the last two vampires, and looked up to the master.
"You're back." She said in a worried voice.
"I killed you, yet you're here." stated the Master, he snarled at her. The Master was talking about killing Buffy's doppelganger from this dimension.
Buffy shivered as she looked at him. She'd had so many nightmares about him. The Master was no regular vampire. He was a supreme vampire who'd aged extensively in his long life and was now disfigured. In her dimension, Buffy had been drowned by him, resulting in her death. Xander had resuscitated her and then she finally killed him, after a great struggle. She did not want to have to be faced by him again.
"I know you killed me, but look whose talking." Buffy replied, readying her stake.
Buffy knew that the Master wouldn't have knowledge of her killing his doppelganger in her dimension, but she punned about it anyway.
The Master edged towards her, and she backed away.
Vampire Xander, vampire Willow and some other vampire henchmen had been occupied fighting Faith and the others.
Willow had a crossbow pointed at her doppelganger.
"I let you live last time, I won't make the same mistake!" she yelled, as she loaded in a bolt.
Vampire Willow had no idea what Willow was talking about, which is why she kept having strange facial expressions. The vampire representation of herself Willow had met while she was still in high school was from yet another dimension created by Cordelia's wish. This dimension was also triggered by that event, but the difference being Buffy had never in her life come to Sunnydale, instead of eventually doing so.
Vampire Willow grabbed Tara by the throat as held her in front of her body, as a shield.
"But would you kill her?" she asked, and then licked Tara's face.
Tara began to choke. "Willow!" she yelled, struggling for air.
From behind, Spike pulled the vampire off Tara and Tara fell to the floor, panting.
"Tara!" yelled Willow, "Are you ok baby?" she asked, worried, almost crying.
"I'm ok," she said looking towards vampire Willow, "kill her."
Spike threw the vampire embodiment of Willow into the wall, where she then fell to the floor. As she struggled to get up, Willow ran at her, shoving a stake into her heart.
"Bitch!" yelled the vampire as she dusted.
Willow leant back against the wall, "Way to go," she said to herself.
Vampire Xander had seen this happen, and was making his way across to Willow.
The real Xander had seen this happening and quickly palmed off the vampire he was facing to Spike.
"Willow! Watch out!" he yelled, warning her.
Just as Willow turned around, she saw a fist flying towards her; but there was no time for her to dodge it.
"Inlcousus!" yelled Tara, stretching her arm out towards Willow. A yellow light came in between Willow's head and the vampire's fist. The light turned to stone, submerged in mid air.
Vampire Xander's hand hit the stone, breaking it, but giving Willow time to move.
"Thanks baby!" she yelled across the fight.
Xander ran at the vampire version of himself and raised his battle axe, then swung it forward.
The vampire dodged it, and it wedged into the wall, then he pinned Xander to the floor, lowering itself to bite him.
Anya ran over and dislodged the axe from the wall, she then raised it and swung it right through the vampire's neck, decapitating him, he then dusted over Xander.
Anya fell to the floor, in tears. "Xander, I thought you were"¦"
"It's ok baby," he replied, caressing her, "I'm ok."
Across the room, Buffy was in a tangle with the master, while the others had been fighting other vampire lackeys.
"Slayer, you're nothing, you're dead." said the Master as he threw a punch at Buffy.
Buffy dodged the punch, and an old pun came into her mind, "I may be dead, but I'm still pretty, which is more than I can say for you."
The master snarled and grabbed Buffy in a strangling position, then began to raise her in the air. Buffy was choking and she'd dropped her stake.
"Buffy! Heads up!" yelled Faith, throwing her another stake.
Buffy kneed the master in the chest, feeling a few of his ribs break, and making him release his grip.
Buffy landed on the floor, and kicked him right in the ankle. The Master moaned loudly in pain. Quickly, Buffy jumped over the top of him, kicking him in the back of the head on her way. She now stood about 10 feet from him.
The master rose to his feet and snarled at her, then began to quickly move closer to her.
Buffy ran up a little and cartwheel kicked him, making him fall right to the floor, she then landed on her feet standing over him.
"You think you can kill me?" she asked as she raised her stake. She brought it down right into his chest and penetrated his heart.
"Think again!" said Buffy as she stepped off him, and his flesh slowly began to disintegrate to dust. He screamed immensely until he had become a skeleton.
The Master's bones did not turn to dust, just like Buffy had remembered.
"Way to go B!" yelled Faith from her side.
Buffy looked up to see all of her friends had been watching her. She smiled, "Well, he had it coming"¦ again."
"Now let's get out of his bloody dimension." said Spike.
"Yeah, let's go home." Buffy said, walking towards the rest of the gang.
"Yeah, I'd better head home too." Laura (the Slayer) added.
"Wait!" yelled Dawn. "Don't you need to crush his bones?" she asked.
"Oh yeah, you can." said Buffy, smiling.
Dawn gave a big smile and ran over. She began smashing into the bones with any weapon she could get her hands on. Everybody just looked over and smiled.

******

The gang was back on Adele Street, Willow and Tara had a spell brewing on the road. They were mending the hole in the dimensions so nothing could get through it.
"Asa dei liona nest"¦" Willow said finishing the spell.
There was a bright white flash where the portal had been.
"It's done," said Willow, "now let's go home."

PART TWENTY ONE

The next night had been a lot more stress free for Buffy. She and Faith were on patrol at the cemetery. It was a quiet night; they'd only done in one vampire between them.
"Why don't we just head home?" asked Buffy "This is pointless. Maybe we can get the others and all go to the Bronze, I'm in a mood for doing something that's not this."
"Yeah, I kinda feel like celebrating," said Faith "and we could all do with some winding down."
Buffy and Faith began to head to the gate to leave.
"Hey Slayers!" yelled somebody's voice from behind.
Buffy turned around to see who it was. Standing in front of her, was a girl about Dawn's age.
"Is there anyone in this town who doesn't know who we are?" Faith asked Buffy, half joking.
"Not that I know of." Buffy answered sarcastically.
"What do you want?" Buffy called out.
The girl moved closer. She was wearing a beautiful pendant. Her long gown blew in the wind behind her.
"You know I'm responsible for bringing you back right?" the girl asked Buffy. "So how about a little respect."
Buffy stared at the girl, "What makes you think I'm gonna believe that?"
The girl smiled, "Look honey, Dawn wished it and I dished it."
"Dawn did this?" asked Buffy, intrigued. She was a little alarmed that the girl even knew about Dawn.
"She doesn't know about it though, I kinda cheated" replied the girl, "more to the point, I can take it back, so you're gonna do what I say."
Buffy put her hands on her hips and moaned, "You're joking right? I mean, you can't be serious."
Even the thought of this being true scared Buffy, she didn't want to die, which was also a shock to her because only the night before she hadn't wanted to be alive.
"I'm dead serious"¦" said the girl.
"Okay bitch, what are you?!" yelled Faith, charging at the girl.
Faith raised her arm ready to attack, but the girl grabbed it and deflected her, throwing Faith into a tombstone, where she smashed her face.
Faith struggled up and spat out some blood. She stared at the girl straight in the eye, but didn't attack again. The girl was too strong.
"I'm a vengeance demon you moron. The name's Minyaka." stated the girl.
"Why are you doing this?" asked Buffy. By this time she was scared of the effect Minyaka could have on life or death. If what she had said was true, the girl could end Buffy's existence with only a few words: "I take it back".
"It's my job, I grant wishes." replied Minyaka.
"You see, I think the world is more "˜interesting' with you in it, especially after what I've seen lately."
Buffy looked at the demon, she knew there was more to explain, "Go on"¦"
"D'hoffrin seems to agree. I've got an upgrade. I don't even need to be in the presence of a wish to make it happen anymore. As long as the intention of the actual wish in clear enough, I can grant any wish I want."
Buffy was worried by this.
"But what has any of this got to do with me?" she asked.
"Everything, it's you made this possible. I just wanted to let you know."
Buffy's heart dropped, she had always fought for good in this world, this was the first time she'd contributed to anything bad happening. This demon had a lot of power, and she was evil.
"What do you want from me then?" asked Buffy, she was prepared to do whatever the demon asked.
"I'm not sure yet," said Minyaka, "meet back here tomorrow and I'll tell you "“ same time."
Buffy was shocked by how lame this was, she thought the demon must be new to the job, but agreed anyway.
"Oh and Slayer," said Minyaka, "one last thing; you'd better come."
With a wave of her arms, the vengeance demon disappeared.

******

Back at the Summer's house, everyone was seated in the lounge room. Buffy was standing up, explaining the situation, and Faith was holding an ice pack to her face.
"So it's my fault that all this is happening?" asked Dawn, feeling guilty and staring at the floor.
"Dawny no, you couldn't have known sweetie." answered Tara, holding Dawn's hand.
"She's right, you couldn't have." Buffy added.
Anya stood up, "Buffy, okay sit down." she said.
Buffy just looked at her with a puzzled look on her face and answered "No."
"Buffy it's not like you know anything at all about vengeance demons, you just act like you do," stated Anya rather bluntly, "now sit down." Anya was never very tactful.
Buffy let out a bit of a "˜humph' noise and sat down where Anya had been seated, rolling her eyes.
"Now Buffy," Anya said, "this demon claims she can make wishes come true without being in there presence right?" she asked.
"Yeah, she said she had an upgrade," replied Buffy, "but is it even possible for that to happen?"
Anya stood and thought for a moment, and then she got a sour look on her face. "That bastard," she said. "I've heard of that, it's supposed to be a gift for the best vengeance demon of the past millennium. They're supposed to get un-heard of power in wish granting." Anya cursed to herself for a moment. "Why did he give it to her, she's like only 200 years in the trade." she muttered, "I was so much more deserving!"
"So it's true then?" asked Faith.
"Yeah, but there could be a flaw: she threatened to take back your life right? A vengeance demon can only take back the last wish they've granted, after they grant a new one, there's no going back to the old ones, no matter what extra powers the demonave." Anya pointed out.
"That wish was over a week ago now, do you think she could've been bluffing?" asked Willow.
"Yeah, I mean a vengeance demon is granting wishes all the time right? They don't live off one wish a week." said Xander.
"They can, but normally don't. There's only one way we can find out." Anya said, a little worried by what she'd just suggested.
"Of course," added Giles, remembering something he'd learnt in his watcher training, "The Wish Keepers."

I like the alternate reality where buffy is over in LA when Angel was Angelus..
I am intregued about this wish thing i guess it is connected to buffy being raised...

I liked it, It was interesting, I'm not really a fan of the whole changing a season thing, thats more of a personal thing, but I like the idea of your story, and there was a good improvement in the story after the others gave you some advice, nice job 🙂

PART TWENTY TWO

"The who ha?" asked Buffy, who had been lost somewhere along the way.
"The wish keepers, they take care of every wish ever granted in this world by any means and make sure the wish realities and changes are upheld." stated Giles.
"So why would they help us then?" asked Buffy, "It sounds like they're evil."
"They are nor evil or good - they just do their jobs. They may not want to help us, but we can at least find out the last wish Minyaka granted." Giles said.
"Right," said Buffy, catching on. "So where are they?"
"They don't live in this plane," said Anya, taking the floor back, "you need to get to them through a hot spot to their plane. There's one under the Sun-Cinemas on Main Street."
"Okay, who's coming then?" asked Buffy as she stood up.
"I am." said Giles, also rising to his feet.
"Me too," said Anya, "Giles doesn't know anything about wish granting so you'll need me."
Giles gave Anya a scowl and the three of them left.

*****

Buffy stood in front of a cauldron, with fire inside burning a bright green, as she approached it began to change colours.

"Pretty." commented Buffy.
"Asa hus puntias, ja' achem, ja' achem, ja' achem." recited Giles as the flame began to become larger, and inside grew a hole.
Buffy looked back, "Come on." she said.
"I can't Buffy, only you can. To enter you must be a champion or a demon, only you may enter." Giles said.
"Good luck." they both said as Buffy entered the flame which now burned a bright purple.
Buffy felt her body expanding and compacting as she traveled through the hot spot, which was actually rather not hot at all. As the feelings began to stop, she opened her eyes and looked around. The room she was in was huge and the corridor stretched out as far as she could see. The ceiling was rich in colour, though most things were gold. There was no furniture. The huge arches (which were plentiful) were engraved with ancient writings, but Buffy could not read them.
A figure appeared the far end of the corridor and began to move closer, then disappeared.
"Hello!" yelled Buffy. There was no answer, the figure she'd just seen was not in sight, and this startled her.
Suddenly, the figure appeared again, but this time right in front of Buffy. It was a woman, she was beautiful. She wore a long tight dress that exaggerated her figure, which was rather perfect.
"Hello Buffy," she said. "I'm Oreillia." The woman had a wonderfully sweet voice.
"Hi," said Buffy, rather intrigued by the woman's beauty and shocked by her sudden appearance.
"I know why you're here. You need to follow me, now." the woman said as she began down the corridor.
Buffy nodded her head and followed Oreillia. She looked on either side and saw mirrors.
"Oh my god," she said aloud as she stopped. "Look at my hair."
"Don't worry honey, you look beautiful. You just need some rest." The mirror replied. Buffy stared into the mirror, fascinated. The person she saw staring back was not her; it was her mother, Joyce Summers.
"Mom!" yelled Buffy.
"Buffy, I'm right here you don't need to yell." answered Joyce.
Buffy stretched out to touch her mother, but only felt the cold mirror.
"I love you." said Joyce, who then disappeared.
"Mom, come back!" she yelled.
Nothing happened.
Buffy turned to Oreillia, "Where's she gone?"
"Back to her place, she can't stay here. The mirror can summon her spirit, but only for a limited time, not we need to get going. Come on."
Buffy wiped a tear from her cheek, and began to follow Oreillia again. On her way she focused on the mirrors, hoping for her mother to re-emerge, but she didn't.
Oreillia lead Buffy into a big room, filled with the brightest light she'd ever seen.
Buffy began to squint and then the lights dimmed.
In front of her sat two men, and an empty seat in the middle, Buffy guessed it was for Oreillia.
"Ok," said Buffy, "I walked a hell of a long corridor to find out about a stinking wish! Is anyone gonna tell me what Minyaka's last wish was?"
"Excuse me?" said one of the men. He glared at Buffy. "You will show some respect or you will find out nothing."
"I'm sorry," said Buffy. "It's been a long week for me, I just want this over."
"Your mortal problems are not our concern," said the other man, "do not speak of them again."
"Buffy, you wanted knowledge of the last wish Minyaka granted?" asked Oreillia, changing the subject.
"Yeah, there's this whole thing where she could take my life back"¦" Buffy began.
"We are aware of the situation, as for the information you require it will come at a cost," said the man on the right side of Oreillia.
"A cost"¦" said Buffy, "I knew there'd be one. What is it?" she asked.
"You must travel to an alternate dimension, the opening is right in Sunnydale and defeat the Master." The man said.
"Done." said Buffy with a smile; something had actually turned out good for her. "I did it last night, if you're lucky you might be able to catch a repeat of it."
The mans face looked shocked, "In that case, as you wish: Minyaka's last wish was granted was in Brazil 10 minutes ago, there have been 210 wishes made and granted by her since Dawn's."
"Thanks," said Buffy, relieved. "Thank god."
"Good luck Buffy Summers." said Oreillia.
She waver arm and Buffy was thrown backwards into her own plain of existence.
Buffy opened up her eyes to see Giles and Anya looking down at her. She was lying on her back in the room under the cinemas.
Buffy stood up and brushed her clothes off.
"It's ok, she granted 210 wishes in the last week." she said.
Giles leant forward to hug Buffy. "Thank god."
"That's what I said." said Buffy, "now lets go home."

PART TWENTY THREE

Buffy entered the lounge room and everyone looked up to her in anxiety.
"How'd it go?" Dawn asked.
"It's ok," Buffy replied, "it wasn't her last wish."
Buffy began to smile. Everybody felt relieved.
"Let's celebrate!" said Willow, exciting everyone by her idea.
"Yeah!" yelled Dawn, "Can we please Buffy?"
Buffy looked at her younger sister and smiled. "Yeah I guess so, I don't see why not, but someone's gonna have to make the beer run we have nothing here."

******
Xander walked in to the kitchen, the sun shone brightly in his eyes which caused him quite a lot of discomfort, forcing him to cover his face. He sat down and began to softly bang his head on the bench. He had ended up staying the night as he was too drunk to drive home.
"Xander," began Buffy, sipping a glass of juice, "rough night?"
Xander lifted his head and looked at Buffy, "Don't start, my head's killing me."
"A bit too much to drink last night hey Xand?" asked Buffy, rhetorically.
Xander just groaned.
"B!" yelled Faith from the other room, "what's there to eat?"
"Come look." Buffy yelled back.
Faith and Laura walked in, also looking a bit hung-over, but not to the extent of Xander. They each got themselves a bowl of cereal and went back into the other room.
"How long is she staying for?" asked Dawn as she entered the room, brushing passed Faith.
Giles followed her in.
"Um I don't know, not long I guess." Buffy replied.
"I hope she leaves soon." said Dawn with a frown, "She thinks she can do whatever she wants all the time."
Dawn tipped the cereal box into her bowl but nothing came out.
"Who finished the cereal?!" she yelled.
Faith entered the room holding two empty bowls and dumped them in the sink. She then walked straight back out. Dawn just gave her a dirty look.
"See what I mean," said Dawn, collecting a piece of fruit "she has to go."
""¦ No it was funniest when you started singing that chip monks song!" said Willow as she walked in. She and Tara were discussing last night's events.
Tara just laughed.
"So what's up?" asked Tara.
"Breakfast was up," said Dawn, "but Faith ate it all." She walked out of the room frustrated.
"There goes with the angry teenager." said Buffy, watching Dawn as she left.
"Ahn!" yelled Xander into the other room, "Let's go home, you're driving!"
Xander said his goodbyes and then left with Anya.
"Buffy we'll take Dawnie to school." said Xander.
"Thanks Xand. Dawn get your stuff Xander is taking you!" she yelled out.
From upstairs she heard an "Okay, bye Buffy!"
Giles sat down at the bench. "Buffy, on a more serious note, we must talk about this demon: even though she poses no threat in taking back your life, she's still incredibly strong; you must be ready for her tonight."
Buffy groaned. "Yeah, I know"¦ training then?" she asked.
"Yes I'd assume you'd need to be as ready as possible. I'll drive." said Giles.
Buffy and Giles got up and made their way to the door.
"Bye guys," she said. "I'll be back in a couple of hours."

******

Buffy had changed into her training outfit. She was stretching her legs out on one of the beams.
"8, 9, 10 and hold"¦" she counted.
Giles walked in, holding a magnificent looking battle axe. It looked very old.
"For me?" asked Buffy, joking.
"Well actually, yes." replied Giles with a smile. He handed the weapon to Buffy.
"I don't know how many rounds this thing could take, but thank you." she said, swinging it around, as if trying it out while she spoke.
"You're very welcome," he said, "be careful with it though, it has a history in the slayer line."
Buffy stopped swinging the weapon and studied it.
"Thank you so much." she said. "Where did you find something like this?" she asked, still amazed by the weapon's history and its connection to her. Buffy never really felt much a part of anything, but the Slayer line "“ she knew she was a part of it. She was chosen. That made her feel superior at times, and was the only thing that kept her going at others. Either way, it was her life, her heritage. Every girl who had ever had that power was connected, and Buffy could feel the powers of all of them while she held this weapon.
"I actually didn't find it," Giles began, "an old friend; a watcher actually, from the council passed it on to me while I was in England. We thought it was too late for you then, but it made me feel better, knowing I still had you with me in some way."
Giles began to cry, but tried to hold off his tears as much as he could.
"Oh Giles," Buffy said, tears running down her cheeks, "I love you."
"I love you too Buffy," replied Giles, "more than you will ever know."
Buffy refrained herself from crying anymore and pulled away, she took a moment to settle down.
"Giles," she said, "When you heard I was alive, what did you think first off, about how I was back?"
"Willow." he replied.
Buffy sat and thought a moment. "You know, when I came back, I actually believed it was a higher power that did it for some unknown reason, maybe a higher cause, and I thought I was going to do something, like maybe the universe needed me alive"¦ but I got over that. I guess that's lucky, because I'd look like an idiot now."
Giles stared at Buffy. "Buffy," he began, "you are special, the universe needs you. I know that and I know you do too. Are you aware that you're the longest living Slayer ever Buffy? You really will make changes, I know it. You have been since I met you, even before."
Buffy remembered how it used to be, before she was called. It was a lot easier. She'd never pictured herself to grow up like she had. She'd always thought she'd be a beautician of a hairdresser. Buffy then thought about everything she'd done since she was a slayer, and she realised something she'd never realised before. She was grateful. She was proud of being chosen, she was happy that her destiny really did matter, more than any one else's in the world.
"Buffy it doesn't matter if a vengeance demon brought you back or if the fates brought you back"¦ maybe it was the only way the fates could manipulate circumstances to have you here." Giles was speaking his heart; he truly believed that Buffy's resurrection was planned.
"I guess it doesn't matter anyway," said Buffy, putting on her gloves "but maybe you're right."

PART TWENTY FOUR

Buffy stood, still in the wind. The trees blew softly. She could smell the fresh mud on the ground. She had gotten rather used to that smell over the years. Her hair waved around. The red leather pants she wore had not been worn for years. Not since the day she had faced off with Faith before her graduation resulting in Faith's coma. In her pocket was Mr. Pointy, the stake Kendra, the vampire slayer had given to her years ago. She held her battle axe tightly. Giles had only given it to her that day.
"Buffy!" yelled Faith, "You think she'll show or what it's like 10 o clock, she said the same time right?"
"She'll probably show," said Buffy, "but if she's not here in 10 we'll go."
A flash of purple appeared before Buffy, and Minyaka appeared. Her brown hair shone in the moon light.
"Buffy," she said, "Sorry I'm late. I had business."
"Really, because I was starting to think you stood me up?" replied Buffy, in a threatening way.
Minyaka rolled her eyes, she walked closer to Buffy, clearly showing she wasn't scared of her, slayer or not.
"I've thought," the demon said, "and there's really nothing you can give me that I want. I don't need anything anymore. I have everything I've ever wanted, but"¦"
"It's not like you can do anything to me anyway. I checked it out, that wish you granted to bring me back "“ it's done. You can't change it now; it wasn't your last one."
Buffy waited for a reply, she'd done her homework and she wanted to see the look on Minyaka's face.
Minyaka didn't cut like Buffy had hoped. "You think that's the only way I can get you?" she asked, pretty calmly.
Suddenly, breaking the calm, she lunged at Buffy, tackling her to the ground and making her drop her axe. "You little bitch!" she yelled, as she slammed her elbow into Buffy's nose.
Buffy looked above her at the creature attacking her. She flipped Mainyaka into the air by kneeing her right in the backside, which sent her flying.
Buffy jumped up and picked up her weapon. "Hey!" she yelled, "You're gonna pay!"
Minyaka got back up. "Really?" she asked.
In Minyaka's hands, purple magickal energy began to grow. I got a few tricks that you don't know about!" she yelled.
She pointed to Buffy and the energy ball went flying towards her, but was immediately replaced. Buffy ducked to the floor.
As Minayaka kept firing energy balls at Buffy, Buffy kept dodging them.
"Too slow!" yelled Buffy, she was right in Minyaka's face. She quickly gave the demon an uppercut which sent her flying to the floor.
Buffy jumped right on top of the demon, pinning her to the floor.
"How do you like me now? Do you still find me interesting?!" yelled Buffy as she began to pummel the demon.
Minyaka was all bloody; she seemed to have been knocked out. Buffy got up and raised her axe atop of Minyaka's neck. Suddenly, the demon's eyes opened, and set off an electrical current through the air that sent Buffy flying back.
"Buffy!" yelled Faith. Minyaka was moving in on Buffy's motionless body. "No!" Faith yelled again. She ran across as fast as she could, lunging at Minyaka and throwing her a few feet back.
The demon threw a punch at Faith, which she blocked. "No body can touch me!" yelled the slayer. She suddenly kneed Minyaka in the torso, causing her great pain, then raised her stake, and penetrated it right into the demon's chest.
Minyaka screamed. It was the first serious wound she had ever been the victim of, but it would not kill her. Flesh wounds didn't kill vengeance demons. It was said that only spells, fire and decapitation could kill a vengeance demon, but they could be severely injured. Minyaka lay still, motionless, with a stake protruding from her chest and blood running from her mouth.
Faith turned around, and walked over to Buffy, who was now sitting up.
"Faith!" she yelled, "she's not dead!"
Before Faith had any time to turn around, Minyaka packed her a punch that knocked the slayer out cold.
"Faith!" yelled Buffy, rushing to her side.
Minyaka ripped the stake from her chest, "That actually hurt!" she yelled. She then kicked Faith a further 10 feet into a headstone.
Buffy had had enough of this. Being beaten by a woman was getting old for her. There was no way a vengeance demon was stronger then Glory, and Buffy had defeated her. Buffy just needed to regroup.
"You know what?" Minyaka began, "If I had known you slayers were this weak I wouldn't have brought one back!" She smirked at Buffy, quite proud of her remark.
"You don't know the first thing about slayers" remarked Buffy. She gave the demon an extensively bad look, and gathered all her might in her right arm. In a single punch, Buffy blew the demon right into a mausoleum.
"I'll show you just what a slayer is!" yelled Buffy and she ran at Minyaka, who was barely able to stand.
Buffy punched her again, in the face, knocking her back to the floor.
Time stopped.

"The slayer will not come out victorious."
"We must do something!" yelled Oreillia. The Wish Keepers knew of the future, and what it held for Buffy.
"We cannot mess with the flow of the lives of mortals." remarked the man. He was the man Buffy had met earlier.
"The events to follow are not the flow of the mortals' lives. This dimension was created by the demon's wish and will fade once the slayer dies. The world they know will fade away in a matter of moments. The life of the slayer is the only conduit holding the new reality together." Oreillia spoke.
The men she was reasoning with stopped arguing. They thought hard about the situation. Even though making any change to the dimensions stood against their rules, the reality was going to disintegrate once Buffy had died and they could not let that happen.
"If we are to do this," began one of the men, "the Powers That Be will not take it lightly, there will be repercussions. Is that a risk you are willing to take?" he asked his companions.
The man sitting next to him grew weary, "It may not be wise, but I believe it is necessary." he said.
"Of course," said Oreillia, relieved, "we must do this."
The trio sat around a circular shaped marble table and held hands. They closed their eyes.
Oreillia began, "From the moment the slayer shall die, Minyaka's dimension shall stop, and things will run in the natural order they were supposed to in the natural running dimension. The slayer will not be in it, but the dimension shall forever go on."
A beam began to shine through the roof of the palace, right onto the table.
"We shall do what must be done." said Oreillia, as she opened her eyes.
The three beings began to glow a harsh white light. A convergence of energy formed above their ritual.
"It is done." spoke one of the men.
The energy convergence stopped. The glowing stopped. The palace turned black.

Buffy sat on top of the demon, pummeling her. As she raised her slayer battle axe, she felt a burst of power run through her, like it had earlier, and she was thrown off Minyaka.
Minyaka rose to her feet.
Buffy stared up at her, knowing something was to come. Beside her she felt Faith.
"What's she doing?!" asked Faith.
"I don't know!" Buffy cried out.
Minyaka looked down at the slayers, and began to levitate. Her face blame veiny once again.
"WISH GRANTED!" she yelled.
The earth shook. Buffy and Faith crouched together.
"What is this, an earthquake?" asked Faith.
"One of many!" yelled Minyaka, "Now slayers"¦ the world will end before you!"
Somebody worldwide had wished the world to end. A harmless sentence said by somebody was causing an apocalypse.
Grave stones crumbled and trees cracked. The earth continued to shake, making loud noises.
"What do we do now?!" yelled Faith desperately.
"What we have to!" answered Buffy.
She stared into Minyaka's pendant, it glowed. The power exercising from it was at it's absolute.
"I have to smash her pendant!" yelled Buffy.
She jumped up and began to run at the demon, who was now earth bound again.
"Buffy no!" yelled Faith, realising it would kill Buffy if she was to smash the pendant. All the wishes Minyaka had granted would be taken back, leaving Buffy dead, but the world safe.
Buffy raised her axe. In one swift motion, she sliced the demons head clean off.
The tremors made Buffy lose balance. She fell to the floor, where a tombstone fell on top of her.
Smashed up rock and marble covered the slayer. In front of her laid the glowing pendant. By her side, was a large chunk of rock, which she raised above her head.
Before she could bring it down on the pendant, Faith caught her hand.
"Faith don't," she yelled as tears poured down her cheeks, "I have to do this!"
"Buffy, you can't, it'll kill you!" yelled Faith back.
"Faith, the world is ending! I have to! It's the only way!"
"What about Giles, he'll find something!" Faith yelled, desperately.
"He can't!" Buffy began, "There's not enough time! The only way to stop a vengeance demon's wish is to smash her pendant or make her take it back, Faith it's the only way."
Faith knew what Buffy was saying was true. Some part of her wanted Buffy to save the world, but she did not want to lose Buffy.
"Please." she begged.
In a flash, Buffy smashed the pendant to pieces in between two chunks of stone.
"NOOOO!" yelled Faith.
A blinding light penetrated the whole graveyard, and time, once again"¦ stopped.

The clock struck 12. It was mid-night. The women throughout the centre slept.
Faihane stood in her cell, screaming "Buffy! NO!"
Tears ran down her face.
She gathered all of the prisoners' attention. A guard had rushed across to her cell.
"What's going on here?!" he yelled, demanding an answer.
Faith's brain stopped working for a moment; she had forgotten what she was screaming about.
"I'm sorry," she said, "I don't know."
Everybody, not just Faith solely had forgotten about the last few weeks, they had never really existed anymore.

"It's time we stop talking. Tomorrow night ... we're bringing Buffy back."

Yeah that was the idea, so now at least there is hope for the scoobies and I don't have to keep writing more and more in this fic!

OK, i read this story, you know i made comments at first, but now its finished i can add my two cents.
It was a really good read, yoiu could see where you had learned along the way in terms of writing, and by the end it was really good.
The story too got better, i felt at the very beginning it was a little formulaic but it got better....in a way i'm wishing there was more, but glad it finished when it did.
Kudos Eunsoma.
