My first art "attempts"

I'm going through another Illyria stage...

I redid the second one because it was way to dark and it's really quite freaky..

i like the darla one, i think it's great. the first illyria/fred one is cool, but i like the first attempt at the second banner better than the other one!!
 
Actually, I think the first and third one are much better than ur usual work (not that that isn't good.)

Sorry it's taken me so long. My Trial ran out and I was too cheap to get buy it. My brother bought me a slighter better version and it's taking some getting used to. After many failed attempts here is my first good one.

HELP!!

I am sooo completely stuck on my banners! I am stuck on how to make a good one, is there any basics that i need to remember... also i was wondering whether anybody would be kind enough to make me a basic Angel banner to get me started?

Ive noticed! Ive tried a few and to be honest, even im ashamed.

But lucky for me my boyfriend does graphic design and is a whizz on PS, so im gonna see if he can help me out, cheat a lil!!
