Just finished "Instinct", this one started a bit slow but picked up towards the end
- This episode confused me. Last episode we saw Echo is able to remember things even after a wipe, but in "Instinct" she can't
- Alexis Denisofs character is basically the equivalent to Paul Ballard in season 1
- Speaking of Paul Ballard, did I mention how awesome he is? I love that he's trying to take down the Dollhouse from the inside AND help Echo
- Where was Boyd Langton? I hope he isn't suffering from "Giles Syndrome" (where a character starts the show as an important character, and then becomes less and less important as it continues)
- HEY! It's November! I hope she is still part of the show this season
- Topher is a funny guy, but I still didn't see much remorse or guilt for what he put Echo through

Finished "Bella Chose". A decent episode, with some laughs
- I feel Topher is a lot funnier this season, Fran Kranz seems to have finally found a nice place
- WHAAAAT! Topher is finally showing some morals! This is awesome
- It's Michael Hogan! This show is turning into a BSG reunion XD
- Why was it so easy for the guy and his uncle to escape the Dollhouse?
- Paul and Victor had the best scene at the club, "You got a problem?" lol. All that dancing reminded me of Angel's dance during season 1

“Belonging” was epic! This has probably been my favorite episode so far
- Sierra was the focus of this episode and we finally see how and why she became a Doll. And the story is so tragic, this guy wanted her but couldn’t get her. So he made her schizophrenic so should would become a Doll and then bought her, which (as DeWitt said) is basically rape
- More than anything though, this was Topher’s episode. He started off as an emotionless puppet who did whatever he was told, but we finally see him stand up to the Dollhouse and let his morals guide him.
- DeWitt is interesting this episode, she cares about Sierra, but she isn’t willing to directly fight the Dollhouse. So she pretended not to know when Boyd “disposed” of that guy
- Boyd is a bad*ss. The way he handles the situation when he finds Sierra and Topher in the guys house was cool
- Echo is keeping a book because she can remember and Boyd learns this, and sends her some kind of card to help when the “storm” comes. I’m bored with Echo, her character is moving very slowly for me, I don’t have any emotional investment in the character and we still haven’t learned about her past so it’s hard for me to sympathize with her (and in my opinion Eliza Dushku isn’t as strong as leads in other Whedon shows like Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz or Nathan Fillion)
- Is Victor glitching? Why was he getting flashes of when he was a soldier?
- And where was Paul Ballard? How can they have a whole episode without him? And when is Amy Acker coming back?

"Public Eye" was another smash, two great episodes in a row
- Senator Perrins is a doll, didn't see that one coming. Nice switch where we're made to believe his wife was the doll
- Rossum is such a shady organization. Their controlling Senator Perrins so when he "discovers" the Dollhouse, he will become a hero and get elected and then they can create laws
- I'm still get used to Alexis Denisof without a british accent lol
- Glad to see Mellie having a bigger role, I wonder if she will testify. Why didn't Ballard answer the call from Boyd?

"The Left Hand" is another solid episode
- So Bennet (Summer Glau) was Caroline's best friend and for some reason Caroline left her while her arm was being crushed under concrete
- Senator Perrins has a nice arc of self-realization and becoming a Terminator. So he's in the government now, and will run for President, meaning Rossum will be at the highest level of government
- Poor Mellie, nothing ever goes good for her, the public thinks she is crazy. Is she turning herself back into an Active??? OMG
- Enver Gjokaj does a spot on impression of Topher lol
- I imagine there are a lot of Topher/Bennet shippers lol
- Where is Paul Ballard. I get sad when he's not in an episode

There was a lot of information in "Meet Jane Doe"
- I had read things episodes like this would start popping up. Because they knew the show was being cancelled they crammed seasons worth of story into the last remaining episodes
- DeWitt turned into an official b*tch, which I didn't see because up until this point she hasn't been a "bad guy"
- Topher keeping plans for a machine than can turn regular people into Actives"¦IS THIS THE PRECURSOR TO THE TECHNOLOGY WE SEE IN EPITAPHS PART ONE?? I think it is
- Echo falls in love with Paul Ballard, again this happened very quickly and would have been even better if the show got the time it needed
- Seeing Echo become this cool combination of different people was neat
- Have I mentioned I have a crush on Liza Lapira? She's so hot and talented. You guy should check her out on "Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23" (she sooooo funny lol)

"A Love Supreme" is one of the best episodes of Dollhouse
- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Did they just kill Paul Ballard? How could they do this? Why? Is he coming back? His mind is in Alpha, so that means he is technically alive
- Patton Oswalt came back! He is one of my favorite minor characters in the show. Seeing him speak to his dead wife at the end was a touching moment
- Alpha is such a great villain, this guy is a psycho, he reminds me of the Joker
- Paul can't be gone though, in Epitaph One he is still alive"¦and where is Dr. Saunders? She was shown to be waiting for someone in Epitaphs One, I bet she is going to come back and drop some kind of bomb on this show

"Stop-Loss" was a good episode but some of problems stop me from enjoying it as much as I could
- First of all, the writers knew that the show was ending so they crammed multiple seasons into these last couple episodes, and this ultimately hurts this episode, so much is happening so quickly that it is hard to let the emotions take their time and affect the viewer
- DeWitt is making this decline, turning to alcohol and generally becoming more evil. But a lot of this is hard to understand because we don't get enough time for her to explain what he is going through
- The whole thing where Victor is thinking the same as the unit of soldiers was just silly, IMO
- Boyd is a boss, I like how he told DeWitt he can take her down if he needs to
- Echo gets sent to the Attic (where the cover you in cling wrap), I pedict the next episode will be a psychological one
- Dollhouse has got at least 7 seasons of content, and it just makes me sad that none of it got realized. I feel this show is more "epic" than Joss other work, Buffy was smaller and personal, Angel was large and more action oriented, and Firefly was similar to Buffy, small and personal

I know. I enjoy season 2 but this far into it you definitely feel like it's all very "rushed" and crammed into a miniscule about of time, which is sad because there's good plotlines in there that would've been great if they had gotten some more time.
Oh yes, I hate that about this ep. It's just... yeah silly.

“The Attic” really felt like 2 episodes packed with about 15 episodes worth of story
- I really didn’t like the first half of this episode. I’ve never been a fan of these psychological episodes (I never liked Restless, for example). However, the second half picked up, as soon as we found out Arcane was Clyde I enjoyed things a lot more
- Clyde interests me, he mentioned he started Rossum with his best friend, have we ever met this character?
- He mentioned the first imprint was Clyde 2.0, who is intelligent but is imprinted to strictly follow rules. This describes Topher perfectly, i’m just saying lol
- Paul Ballard is back! This made my night! But he’s a Doll…and this is where the condensed story hurts, I would love an episode specifically dealing with the psychology of Paul after coming back. Instead we see him reasonably upset and ready to kill DeWitt…and then fine when Echo gets back
- And what happened in DeWitts office during the stand-off with Paul Ballard?
- What did Topher remove from Paul when they brought him back?
- So DeWitt was actually a good guy the whole time…I feel tricked (in a good way lol)
- So we’re finally going to meet Caroline, this should be great. And it’s going to be Dollhouse vs. Rossum, this should be sweet!

"Getting Closer" what an amazing episode. This literally felt like a whole season of television put into 43 minutes.
- Let's talk about the obvious and biggest twist. Boyd Langton is Clyde 2.0"¦what the hell, this is just twisted, my mind is blown. I have a lack of words for this.
- The Rossum creator was a cool villain, very different from the typical "menacing world-conquering" types
- So are Anthony and Priya gone?
- So Caroline left Bennet because she knew she would be okay? Interesting
- Even though I got spoiled that Bennet was going to get show it still shocked me (Damn you Buffy Boards! Lol). And in my opinion, because it was so sudden and casual, I liked it more than when Tara got shot (perhaps because I liked Bennet and thought Tara was boring, but I guess that's another discussion)
- So what's going to happen with Dr.Saunders

“The Hollow Men” felt was a great episode that had some very emotional moments, one of my favorites!
- So somehow Caroline is special and has the unique DNA to save mankind?
- Tophers tech is what causes the Apocalypse, its so interesting to see how his character declines when he realizes what he’s done
- Boyd telling everyone that he loves them and they are his family is crazy. I love when villains are given such a complexity
- Mellie had such a sad death, she was finally able to break her sleeper protocol and then she shoots herself…wtf. I realized nothing ever good happens to her character (typical Joss lol)
- This whole episode was twisted, they turned Boyd into a Doll and basically made him a suicide bomber. And seeing the innocence in Boyd right before he blew the building up just tugs your heart
- So that’s the end of Rossume…but wait….THEY DIDN’T SAVE THE WORLD
- This episode was a satisfying conclusion for a show that was about to end, some stuff left hanging but all the major plot points were wrapped up. I assume the next episode will deal with the Epitaph future.

Epitaph Two: Return, I loved returning to the apocalyptic future! Such an interesting place
- Firstly I can't help but compare this to season 6 of Angel. One of the writers (I can't remember which one) said that the Sixth season of Angel would have dealt with the aftermath of the apocalypse. So this episode is very similar to what Angel might have gone through
- Anyways, this episode (like Getting Closer) felt like a whole season crammed into 43 minutes. There is SO much going on
- Zone, Mag and Mini-Caroline are back! Love these characters!
- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Paul Ballard died AGAIN. WTF.
- When did Alpha become good? Why?
- Fran Kranz is incredible in this episode. Topher becoming crazy is one of the saddest things I've ever seen
- I wish we could have seen more of Victor and his new tech-Buddies. There is so much to explore here, it hurts me to think all this good story will never be told
- Eliza Dushku's scene where she tells Sierra how she feels about Ballard was great (of course it would have been better if the show wasn't cancelled!)
- Paul Ballard and Echo meet one last time in her head. Beautiful.
Overall, a great ending to a show with an incredible story, I just wish we got more. I will be writing my final thoughts on the show later this week (hopefully). I will also be reading the "Dollhouse: Epitaphs" comics from Darkhorse and posting reviews for those, I assume they are canon because some of the writers on the show wrote the comic. So my Dollhouse journey isn't done yet 😀
