Question My gentlemen's box custom

I would like to have your impressions about my gentlemen's box custom (i have made it myself).

Thanks, i have bought a "natural" box.
At the beginning, that was a moneybox!!! lol
I have painted it with "lasure" (i don't know if it the same name in english), and I bought two hinges.
this is the picture of my box at the beginning

Amazing! That's really really awesome. Next time you do a project, can you take more step-by-step pictures? Not thinking of following them as instructions, just curious on the process.

year that not a problem.
Concerning the box of gentlemen, i have bought two boxes to make one.
I have broken one, i took one part to transforme it in lid.
Then, i put inside and bottom the box "feutrine" black like on this picture (sorry for the dishes) :

after, i paint it in brown with a product specialized for wood who's called in france "lasure".

In the same time, i recreate on paper the drawing with the good measures for the size of my box.

then, i put on my box two little hinges.

Finally, with one with a rule, a black pen and a black felt-tip, i recreate on my box the drawing.

I hope you have understand all my explanations because it's difficult for me to translate in a good english sorry
