My little one is here

As a few of you may know, I was booked in for a c-section on 5th november, and I'm proud to say that my little girl was born at 11.46am and was perfectly healthy despite complications and weighs a whopping 8pounds 11ounces.

I was very pleased with the birth experience, but the after care was absolutely awful meaning I wanted home as soon as possible. We were both discharged yesterday afternoon.

I am slightly ashamed to say, however, that my name plan backfired on me and when she was born I still had (and have) no idea what to name her. I'm worried she's going to end up being called "honey" "poppet" and "sweetheart" for the rest of her life. Poor thing.

Anyway, as requested by a few people below is photo's of my little sweetie 🙂

Ok, now I think I am getting broody again! Husband beware!! (He's told me I can have another labrador but NO MORE CHILDREN!)

She looks cute though, and that weight is MASSIVE!! I only had tiny tikes, at 6lb10 and 5lb13 (but she was 3 wks early)..... makes you kinda glad it was a c-section, huh?

The aftercare is often rubbish - that's the thing that lets the whole experience down, when you are sore, your stitches pull, the painkillers are wearing off and you can hardly move to go for a wee. The staff are over stretched, but good care makes a MASSIVE difference to how you feel.

Well done you... you have a lovely baby, and a family now!

How are those baby blues coming along..... been and gone yet???
