Here's a few of my guesses/ramblings on season 5
1) there will be a season 5
2) Connor will be back, and here's why I think so- If there's one thing we've seen a lot of in the Buffyverse, it's bad parenting. Even the normal characters have crap parents(ie Xander, Willow, Buffy, Wes, Tara). Angel may have been trying his best to give Connor a good life, but a standard family can often suck. My guess is Connor will be appearing and helping AI/W&H on occasion, but still living with his family. He will eventually remember his true past, but will still have emotional connections with his foster family.
3) no powers for Gunn. He's the Xander of Angel, giving him powers would suck
4) Wes contacting other former Watchers, I think it'll happen.

how could connor come back? he doesn't know any of the others, and they don't know him. well, angel and lilah know him. but that's it.

i really hope you're right about number 3.

I agree with number 2. I think Conner is going to remember Angel, but not right away, his normal family could be really be demons for all we know.

his normal family could be Italian, if that were the case, i'd get out of there as soon as possible.

i heard on another Message Board that Gunn will turn to the dark side! Purr..lease!🙄 how many times are they goin to do that! 😛

Then how do you explain when Gunn came out of the elevator, he
looked different. I think the panther did something to him.

We will just have to wait and see how Gunn will be in Season 5!

I have to disagree. Gunn is not the Xander of Angel. Gunn can hold his own and it has been shown many times. I really don't know what to say about Season 5 yet. It is a new beginning since they have Wolfram & Hart under their control, but I feel that is going to come back and bite them in the butts. I guess that I'll have more to say when the rumors and spoilers start going around the internet. Oh, I forgot that the WB will announce their fall lineup either Tuedsay or Wednesday and they give a pretty good description of the show for the fall. I guess that I can discuss from that. 😀 😀

Xander can hold his own. He was the point man for the scoobies when they were vamp hunting during Buffy's absence over the summer betweens seasons 2 and 3. Also, remember in the 5th season episode checkpoint, Buffy mentions that he's logged for field time than anybody. Before Seasons 6 and 7 where we had super powerful fighters like Buffy, Spike, and Willow in abundance, Xander was really a force to be reckoned with. I'm not saying that Xander is Gunn's equal, just that they have some common points, and serve similar functions on their respective shows.

What i think will happen in season 5.

Conner will return, they have a great story line. Everything can happen. Conner can go to school and demons will apear. His new father will contact Angel and the gang.
And they meet !!!!!
Ore: Cordelia meets conner somewhere. And they look at each other and!!!!!

We all no that Conner is one of the favourites and it wood not be smart to let him out of the series. The ratings are to good. That is my opinion.

And when spike gets there, somehow? Two vampires with a soul, that is not a good story line. Maybe spike will be the new bad guy. He was always a great bad guy, i miss that with buffy.

Okay, I don't have many predictions for Season 5, though I do think it'll be jumpy leaps and bounds next year in amazingness (yes, I know that is not a word.)

Although I do think most of you are right in saying Connor isn't gone for good. One of my clues to this was in the silly WB newsletter they send out ever week about their shows.

Will Angel and the gang be able to harness the power of Wolfram & Hart? Can their resources ever really be used for good? Will Connor remember his mythic roots? How do you think this will all play out?

If he was gone for good I don't think they'd mention something about him in their little teaser for next year. But maybe that's just me.

Okay, I didn't really have much to say other then that.

I hope Connor doesn't come back. Not just because he was annoying and I can't stand him, but because it would be hard to make it make sense in the story line. Not impossible, but hard.

If they do bring him back, they'd have to pull him out of his new "happy family." That would suck. The kid has been screwed over one too many times, and it's only fair he get a little happiness. Let him go to college and forget he had a flesh eating 30 year old daughter.

IT'S ONLY RIGHT I TELL YOU!!

Haha, okay. Done now.

Oh yeah, my prediction for Season 5.

*Willow comes from Sunnydale to join the gang and (sort of) replace Cordy.
*Wes realizes what a twit Fred is and gets the heck over her. More sex with Lilah!! (Careful sex this time, cause of the whole "head falling off" thing.)
*Fred and Gunn get back together. And the panther just let him know where he came from. No badness for Gunn, and no powers either.
*Angel helps saves Buffy, he gets rewarded by being able to have sex, they have it. Somehow she gets prego and has mini-slayer #1. Yay!

Okay so that last one is just a dream and could never happen. Sue me.

I hope Spike's be the baddest between him and Angel.

I miss him being bad!

Why does everybody want Spike to be evil again?

He was only bad for a little over one whole season, and he's been a semi-good guy for about 3.

He was originally a great 'big-bad', but even then he helped Buffy defeat Angel in the season finale. It makes no sense for him to go bad. Also, if they send another character evil, I'll be highly pissed off.

By the way...

It would be really easy to bring Connor back into the story. He is potentially a brilliant fighter, and he clearly isn't human (from that bit with the protection spell).

All they need is a really tough demon to fight, one who the normal gang can't kill alone.

Queue Angel telling everyone that he had a son, who could help. They go to find him and he comes back with them to help kill the demon.

Also, a teenager actually being told that he is a superhuman is possibly going to make for a much happier version of Connor. And he won't hate Angel.

If he comes back and actually remembers his old life then that is crazy. It should be more like Dawn's realisation that she didn't exist before she was 16.

By the way. Dawn would be a great love interest for Connor. Same age, plus there's the whole Buffy-Angel thing. And they were both moody, but hopefully if Connors back next season he'll have given up trying to be 'homicidal maniac' moody.

And on the whole Angel becoming human as a reward for helping Buffy to stop the apocalypse. It's never going to happen. For a start, they wouldn't put anything that mattered that much to series 5 into a 'Buffy' episode. Spike could become human, at least it would make him into a different character from Angel.

Ok, that was a hell of a lot longer than I intended but still.

Spike will die in the last episdoe of Buffy. But for some reason Angel will have to bring him back and using his new power he will resurrect Spike (like W&H did with Darla).

Cordy will return for the 2nd and 3rd episode. She will come up with some reason to leave and go.

Connor will not return next season. Proberly season 6 or 7.

Gunn will gradually begine to go to the dark side.

Willow will turn up for a few episodes.

Gwen will join the group.

Hello, I said that! Consider it a fantasy of mine, but I'm not stupid enought to think it'll happen. Did u read my post before you replied? 🙄 I openly admitted it was just a dream. *sigh*

I liked your version No Angel, exept for the 'evil Gunn' and the 'no Connor in this season' part.
I think they should include Connor, he has an extense capacity for new stories and lots of potential.
And Gunn...well I wouldn't like him to turn evil, he's like the balance guy in the group, we need him that way.

Sorry Miss Morgan. That wasn't really a reply to you. In quite a few of the Season 4 forums people say that maybe Angel will become human in Buffy 7x22.

Unlike you though I really don't want Angel and Buffy to get together again. That is just a far too depressing relationship.
