Ok, after my second full run-through I think I can say without a doubt that this season was badass. I didn't like it the first time, and there are parts of this season that I didn't like.

Episode 1-5 just were not good imo. It took me so long to get in to it because of these 5. Imo, "Are You Now" is extremely over-rated, and quite boring. It is a fun, and imaginative episode, but it was just boring to me.

Now, once Episode 6, Guise Will Be Guise, rolled around, I was hooked. I was trying to hurry so I could get it to my friend before the holidays, but truthfully, I couldn't stop watching it. I loved every episode up until the last 3, but my favorites included: Guise Will Be Guise, The Shroud of Rahmon, The Trial (wow, intense ending 🙂 ), Reunion, Redefinition, Thin Dead Line, and Dead End.

Now, for the last three... They were... [/b]AMAZING[/b]!!! I absolutely love all three epy's equally. They're just so much fun. Plus, Fred is introduced!!

Sorry, I guess I just needed to share my feeling with everyone, because I had so much fun with this season this time around, and I hated it the first time.

I agree. Season 2 had some bad#$@ episodes. "Guise" was hilarious, I thought. I saw it when it aired on TV and once Wesley showed up with Angel's trench coat, I knew that this episode was going to be hilarious. "The Trial" had a great moment when Angel just goes crazy and beats up those guards and a pillar! I liked that moment because it would have been how I would have felt if I had gone through those trials and got nothing out of it. The latter 3/4 of the season was really good, looking back on it.

Yes, I agree, the first few eppys are pretty slow and "Are You?" is overrated, but I LOVE "Dear, Boy" and "Untouched" *shrugs*

But, yeah, this is my favorite season. My favs are "Darla", "Reunion", "Reprise", and "Epiphany". They are all 10/10 eppys, IMO, and blow me away every single time. Love the Darla arc in this season, as well as in Season 3. Awesome season; maybe the best in the Buffyverse.

Someone is a fan of the Darla drama?
What bugs me a lot concerning Darla's arc in this season is that she, unlike Angel and Spike, doesn't seem to feel guilty about her victims in spite of her soul. Maybe she wasn't a very righteous woman in her first lifetime, but Angel wasn't either (yes, righteous AND a woman ^^) and far from being a good person, but we know how he suffered after the gypsy curse. Darla suffered from her identity crisis, but never, I think, from a guilty conscience... how self-absorbed is that?
