This thread is for Al cause I promised him I'd start it after I told him the whole story. Ok so as some of you know over the weekend I went to a convention where Summer Glau was speaking. There were many other guests such as John Schneider you know him as Johnathon Kent from Smallville or that guy from the Dukes Of Hazzard T.V series. Anyway I was walking around the convention and this guy dressed as a droid power droid from Star Wars walks past me except his costume is a box with a slit cut in it. I only knew what it was cause it had this sign saying "Power Droid from Star Wars". Anyway the droid wannabee walks past and this guy with an accent comes up behind me and he's like "That guys dressed as a box." Without even turning around I said, "No he's some lame ass droid from Star Wars"
And then I turn around to see the guy I was talking to was John Schneider but he'd already started walking away. later on I see him again only to find out he's labelled me "the box girl"

(are you happy now Al I've embarrased myself for you)

I'm sorry honey, i had to make you tell this incredible story because its just so hilarious, but also because if ever anything deserved huge amounts of consolation rep, its 'Supermans Dad calling you Box Girl', so i think everyone who visits this thread should give our embarrassed Jess some REP....🙂


and Summers Blood, i bet you'd LOVE JS to call you HIS Box Girl, and love him to play with your box.....heck have you seen how pretty he was in Dukes of Hazzard, he could play with mine too😉

Though i have to admit a certain level of jealousness on the same level as you SB

do you not have any amusing Supernova related stories?....maybe like toilet paper stuck to your shoe and bumping into Summer Glau...passing Wind in front of another celeb attendant?..anything
actually yes... i asked to get a pic with JS... and he said yea sure... and he put his arm around me *OMG lol* it was awesome... i talked with Summer... she asked me how i was... and hello and thanks etc.. shes awesome i love her! wat eles.. um... tsk... DDLM... no there wasnt any toilet paper stuck to my shoe... but there was alot of anime fans walking around in strange costumes... my fav would have to be the kill bill costume so awesome... the yellow outfit and the sword.. totally rockin!
 
hello star wars??? well come on its me so of course il notice that..... id say lame guy in starwars droid box.... coz hes lame .... come on a power unit.... hell of a lot better costumes... r2d2 erm c3po... even r4.... but a power unit droid.... (im persuming its - EG-6 power droid unit.... jabba the huts, gets tortured when c3po gets the job as jabbas interperator in return of the jedi)

Jess! That is hilarious, great job-lmao-that is so not a need to be embarassed moment. You were memorable, even if it was for crackin on some poor nerd dressed in (hahahhahaaaa)A BOX! I love you Jess, you never fail to make my day brighter 🙂

LOL wow that's awesome Jess! I agree with SB though, John Schneider gave you a nickname? I mean jeez, he knew who you were! He could call me "red shoe lady" for all I care, and box girl isn't too bad anyway 🙂

But thanks for sharing, that made my day lol. And I saw the pix on the other thread, it looks like you had a lotta fun (so jealous) 😉
