You know how there are all those websites out there about people complaining?
Perhaps the most popular is FML(F My Life).
There are also MyLifeIsAverage and MyLifeisGreat, and God only knows what else.
So today, I'm sitting in my theater class and a friend of mine tells me she found a site called My Life Is Twilight, where people talk about their obsessions with the series. For instance:
Today, my friend and I played our "Twilight Text Game" where we each pick a character to be then pick a random situation and act it out. It lasted for 5 hours. MLIT. 🙂

Ridiculous! Really now? I know there are a lot of people here who don't like Twilight, and I know there are those of you who, well, do. I can safely assume the above quote was probably that of HisMrs or TheChosenTwo. 😉
I'm kidding(I hope).

Well the friend who showed me this is a Buffy fan, and got me thinking, 'Hmm. We should make a MyLifeIsBuffy site!'
How intense would that be? I'm sure we all have our fair share of Buffy-related catastrophes and obsession.

"Last night at work, a friend had gotten mustard all over her shirt. Later in the shift, she said, "I think I got it all out." I replied singing, "They got the mustard out!"

I think that this would be a fun project. I don't exactly know what the agree and disagree options will be. I will learn how to do this, and create this website.
What do you guys think? I'm sure many people will be willing to contribute their stories.
 
that would be AMAZING. but tough to garner lots of hits because, let's face it, twilight is in it's prime (ick) so i don't think traffic wise itd compare. But if it got its link posted in whedonesque it'd be awesome.
 
That would be pretty freaking epic, I think! I wonder how you would go about creating it...

Well I found a script thing, kinda like a template that has it all designed and it's got the rating system, submitting thing, moderating, categories. You just change it to say things to your liking. The whole chalupa.

Nice! I'm still trying to learn PHP and stuff... I can't wait for this to be brought to life!
 
A little pricey, but I guess you gotta do what ya gotta do. It'll be legendary though!
 
I'll send some money for you. Maybe a donation function on the site would be good?

Maybe make it into a Whedon-site, for all the Angel, Dollhouse, Firefly etc etc fans too?

True, there are many Whedon fans outside of Buffy.
Just like a while ago, we were reading the Twelfth Night.
There's a place called Illyria! I had to point it out lol.

That's a cool idea. But I think making it Whedon work in general would make the hits off the charts coz while a lot of fans overlap between his shows, some stick to one. Like they may hate Buffy but love Dollhouse or Firefly etc. I don't get HOW you could hate Buffy but there ya go...
 
Very true. Alot of fans dont like his other shows. I know a lot of people who are crazy for Firefly and dont care for Buffy/Angel. I like the idea of calling it MyLifeIsBuffy but also noting that people can post regarding Joss' other shows as well.

I don't know how to do script or html or anything. But I could probobly learn how to keep up with any up-keep that were needed for the site. And man, I could think of so many contributions! I could also help with promoting the site (which is important).

Joe, if you would name me as a "co-creator" of the site that would be so cool! It could be our project. I could help with the fees.

We could make it look just like the site, just Buffy-themed. 😉
